One of the possible scenarios making its rounds in the country is that the 2023 Budget will be presented to Parliament on Friday, October 7 and Parliament will be dissolved on Monday, 10th October 2022.

If this happens, the 2023 Budget when presented to Parliament on Oct. 7 will be the non-budget of the year. Ismail will also be following in the footsteps of one of the worst parliamentary examples of Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad as Prime Minister in 1999. Read the rest of this entry »

Malaysia in the 15GE should resolve to be the top OIC country in TI CPI instead of losing to five other OIC countries and likely lose out to another 10 OIC countries by end of the decade

Sultan Nazrin of Perak’s warning last Thursday to Malaysians not to be in denial and not to perform “mental acrobatics to deny the existence of the corruption ‘elephant’ that is vividly happen in front of our eyes” is most apt and timely.

This is because we are at the point where Malaysians must decide whether to unite to save the country from the catastrophe of corruption and kleptocracy or surrender to corruption and allow the country to be a failed and rogue state and a kleptocratic regime. Read the rest of this entry »

The best way to remember Dr. Chan Man Hin is to continue his vision of a Malaysian Dream – a world class great plural nation which is honest, effective and incorruptible

(Versi BM)

The best way to remember Dr. Chen Man Hin, founder Chairman of Democratic Action Party for 30 years, and who have dedicated over five decades of his life to Malaysia, is to continue his vision of a Malaysian Dream – a world class great plural nation which is honest, effective and incorruptible.

I thank the longest-serving Inspector-General of Police, Tun Haniff Omar, for the declassification of a over-50 year Official Secrets Act document – the statement which I made to the police while in police custody at the Kuala Selangor Police Station lock-up under the Internal Security Act after I rejected advice not to return to Malaysia and flew back to Malaysia on 18th May 1969. Call on Zahid to withdraw his statement that UMNO leaders are prepared to “wade through floods” if 15GE held during monsoon and floods disasters to prove that UMNO is still a responsible and people-oriented party

(Versi BM)

I call on the UMNO President, Zahid Hamidi, to withdraw his statement that UMNO leaders are prepared to “wide through floods” if the 15th General Election is held during monsoon and floods disasters to prove that UMNO is still responsible and people-oriented party.

The first four UMNO Presidents, Onn Jafaar, Tunku Abdul Raman. Razak Hussein and Hussein Onn would never have said such a thing and regard the loss of 54 lives and RM6.5 billion losses to property as happened last year because of monsoon and floods catastrophe as an irrelevant trifle which should be disregarded, and shows how different is UMNO today under Zahid Hamidi from the UMNO in its founding years. I do not know where Hasni got his information, but he is proving to be an atrocious political leader and strategist, purveying fake and false information. Read the rest of this entry »
