#kerajaangagal41 – With the third Covid wave in Malaysia becoming more serious with deadly variants and low vaccination rates, what guarantee is there that Hari Raya Aidilfitri next year will not be a third consecutive year where balik kampong will be banned?

The third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, already the longest in the world, has become more serious.

Yesterday, the daily increase of new Covid-19 cases is 4,855 cases and daily increase of Covid-19 fatalities is 27 deaths – the fourth highest in daily increase of Covid-19 cases and the second highest in daily fatalities since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in January last year.

#kerajaangagal40 – When will Muhyiddin announce a multi-billion ringgit MCO 3.0 economic stimulus package for the poor and vulnerable groups in Malaysia?

The Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin made a last-minute decision on Tuesday to impose MCO 3.0 nation-wide from May 12 to June 7, 2021 and in the hurry and flurry, he announced it without the benefit of a live telecast as was his wont last year when he wanted to make important announcements.

However, the government failed to follow through the MCO 3.0 decision with a multi-billion ringgit MCO 3.0 economic stimulus plan for the poor and vulnerable groups in the country.

#kerajaangagal39 – Yesterday’s daily increase of 4,765 new Covid-19 cases and an all-time high of 39 deaths is latest proof that the emergency is a failure to bring the nine-month long third Covid-19 wave in Malaysia under control and Malaysia is fighting a losing battle against Covid-19 pandemic with deadly variants

Yesterday’s daily increase of 4,765 new Covid-19 cases and an all-time high of 39 deaths is latest proof that the emergency is a failure to bring the nine-month long third Covid-19 wave in Malaysia under control and that Malaysia is fighting a losing battle against Covid-19 pandemic with deadly variants.

It also validates the warning by the Indonesian government to Indonesians citing Malaysia in the same breath as India as countries which Indonesia should not emulate and to stay home and to take precautions on Covid-19 in the Hari Raya Aidilfitri holidays.

#kerajaangagal38 – Hadi should come to his senses instead of becoming a new champion of a failed emergency to combat the Covid-19 pandemic

Why has the PAS President, Hadi Awang, emerged as a new champion of a failed emergency to combat the Covid-19 pandemic?

He appeared not to have minded that Malaysia had tumbled in international performance in handling the Covid-19 pandemic, to an extent that the Indonesian government had cited Malaysia in the same breath as India in its warning to Indonesians to stay home and to take precautions on Covid-19 in the forthcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri holidays.

I find it most shocking the spectacle of a leader of a political party in government coalition who appears to relish the downgrading of Malaysia’s international status, lower than Indonesia, a country which Malaysia had always prided as superior in terms of public health competence, services and infrastructure development. #kerajaangagal37 – Malaysia failed in “proof in the pudding” test in its handling of the Covid-19 pandemic

(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

With a cumulative total of 448,457 cases, and a daily increase of 3,978 cases, we are ranked No. 42 among nations in the world with the most number of Covid-19 cases.

Nepal, now ranked No. 44 with a cumulative total of 413,411 cases with a daily increase of 9,317 new Covid-19 cases, is set to overtake us, but we are set to overtake Morocco, Lebanon and UAE to be ranked No. 40 with the most Covid-19 cases in the world. Read the rest of this entry »

Don’t forget the Covid-19 SOPs of 3Cs and 3Ws

(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

Even as all Malaysians celebrate Hari Raya with our Muslim brothers and sisters, I would like to remind all Malaysians not to let their guard down.

That invisible covid 19 virus is still very much all around us. Please maintain physical distancing at all times even as we enjoy socialising. Mask up whenever in doors and do wash when we contact surfaces which may have been contaminated. Always remember that indoors with aircon recycled air is always a potential danger and outdoors, with fresh air and a nice breeze is always safe and safer. Please also observe the SOPs which is to help us to avoid the spread of the virus.

I believe that we Malaysians are used to all these measures by now, but please do not relax and let our guard down. We have to bring the new cases level down to double digits and later to single digits. Read the rest of this entry »

#kerajaangagal36 – I would have suggested that Form V student Ain Husniza Saiful Nizam should be nominated Senator to articulate the voice of youths in Senate if this is not barred by the Malaysian Constitution which requires a Senator to be at least 30 years old

(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

I would have suggested that Form V student Ain Husniza Saiful Nizam should be nominated Senator to articulate the voice of youths in Senate if this is not barred by the Malaysian Constitution which requires a Senator to be at least 30 years old.

The Malaysian Constitution in this regard needs to be amended to keep abreast with changing times but this is another story.

It is indeed shocking that there are plans afoot to expel Ain Husniza from her school, SMK Puncak Alam. If this is allowed, it would be to the infamy and ignominy of the Education Minister, Radzi Jidin and the Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Yassin. Read the rest of this entry »

#kerajaangagal35 – The flurried manner of the announcement of a national MCO 3.0 late yesterday evening less than a month after the Prime Minister promised no more nationwide restrictions is living proof that the Muhyiddin government has become a kakistocracy

(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

The flurried manner of the announcement of a national MCO 3.0 late yesterday evening less than a month after the Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin promised no more nationwide restrictions is living proof that the Muhyiddin government has become a kakistocracy

There was no time to arrange for a live telecast by the Prime Minister, which must be a blessing in disguise as Muhyiddin cannot be unaware of the huge deficit in public trust and confidence in government’s decisions and announcements, particularly relating to Covid-19 pandemic. #kerajaangagal34 – Parliament Speaker must uphold the rights of patriotic MPs in the various Parliamentary Committees to meet especially where it impinges on the Covid-19 pandemic, even if the MPs have to sacrifice their parliamentary allowances denied by the backdoor Muhyiddin government

(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

The backdoor, incompetent, undemocratic and illegitimate Muhyiddin government has made a mess of things in handling the Covid-19 pandemic, adding to the sufferings and hardships of Malaysians, regardless of race, religion or region.

It has come to a stage where Indonesia, hitherto regarded as behind Malaysia in public health development and infrastructure, is urging its citizens to stay home and take precautions on Covid-19 in the forthcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri holidays, with the warning: “Learn from India and Malaysia, for surely we don’t want Indonesia to face the same problem.”

How shameful it is for Malaysians. Read the rest of this entry »

#kerajaangagal33 – Why Education Minister Radzi Jidin unable to provide leadership to ensure schools a safe place instead of allowing the issues of period spot checks and complaints about lewd jokes by teachers in class to roil the country for nearly three weeks?

(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

Yesterday, Malaysia diving queen and two-time Olympic medallist Pandelela Rinong endorsed 17-year-old Ain Husniza Saiful Nizam’s call to make schools a safer place, and offered encouragement for the Form 5 student to keep on speaking up.

She said it was just like when she was called DIVA when she was trying to #makesportasaferplace. Read the rest of this entry »

#kerajaangagal32 – Can Malaysians again shake the world as we did on this day three years ago to demonstrate that the hopes of a New Malaysia, despite its setbacks of the Sheraton Move conspiracy can be fulfilled in the 15th General Election?

On this day three year ago, i.e. 9th May 2018, Malaysians astounded the world with the first democratic and peaceful transition of power in six decades.

The Economist, in its edition dated Dec.18, 2018, named Malaysia in a three-nation finals list in its “ovation country of the year 2018” – for Malaysian voters who “fired a Prime Minister who could not adequately explain why there was US$700 million in his bank account”. (Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

The Sars CoV2 virus which causes Covid-19 first hit our shores on the 25th January 2020, brought in by travellers from Singapore. We have been battling Covid-19 since.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) declared Covid-19 a pandemic on the 11th March 2020, and Malaysia declared the first lockdown on the 18th March 2020. Read the rest of this entry »

#kerajaangagal30 – How to translate Pandelela and other Malaysians’ individual talents, brain power, resources and skills also into making Malaysia a world-class great nation?

(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

I support the idea of the national diver and gold medallist Pandelela Rina being conferred a “Datuk” title and would further suggest that she should also be honoured by the Federal government.

She has brought plaudits and fame not only to Sarawak but also to Malaysia.

#kerajaangagal29 – Time for the worst Prime Minister and worst government in 63 years to step down and give way to Anwar Ibrahim to be the ninth Prime Minister to fight the Covid-19 pandemic

(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

The senior minister for security, Ismail Sabri has an early Hari Raya ‘gift’ and Malaysia has been hit with almost 5,000 daily cases of Covid-19 a week before Hari Raya.

He said two days ago that Malaysia could be reaching 5,000 new infections daily after the Hari Raya festivities if the public failed to adhere to the SOPs.

#kerajaangagal28 – Ban on outdoor exercise under MCO 3.0

Yesterday, in my hashtag #kerajaangagal27 media statement, I said that Malaysia is suffering from having the worst Prime Minister and the worst government in its 63-year history!

As if keen to establish the truth of my statement, the Muhyiddin government banned outdoor exercises under MCO 3.0.

#kerajaangagal25 – If there is a secret ballot in the bloated Cabinet whether Hamzah Zainuddin should be removed as Home Minister, the unanimous verdict would be a ‘Yes’!

If there is a secret ballot in the bloated Cabinet whether Hamzah Zainuddin should be removed as Home Minister, the unanimous verdict would be a ‘Yes’!

It is very significant that apart from the PAS Secretary-General and Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Parliament) Takikyuddin Hassan, no other Cabinet Minister, including the Prime Minister, had spoken up for Hamzah since he was embroiled in the “CPO interference” scandal a week ago. Malaysia has a cumulative total of 424,376 Covid-19 cases, overtaking Saudi Arabia which has 422,316 cases, and is now ranked No. 42 among nations in the world with most number of Covid-19 cases.
