With Rosmah’s conviction and jail sentence, there is more light at the tunnel but the big battle will be the 15th General Election as even the UMNO Secretary-General has agreed that it will be a battle of Rule of Law versus Corruption

With Rosmah Mansor conviction and jail sentence for corruption, a week after Federal Court’s unanimous dismissal of the former Prime Minister’s appeal on Najib’s first corruption trial, there is more light at the end of the tunnel.
There is no guarantee that the “more light at the end of the tunnel” will represent the final victory of the return of the original nation-building principles and policies as stated in the Malaysian Constitution and Rukun Negara, as there is a big battle looming ahead – the 15th General Election. Attorney-General Idrus Harun should clarify whether the redacted sections in the two declassified reports on the RM9 billion LCS scandal had nothing to do with defence secrets but protect the “Big Shark” in the LCS scandal and hide the connection of the Scorpene submarine with the LCS procurements

The Attorney-General Idrus Harun should clarify whether the redacted sections in the two declassified reports on the RM9 billion littoral combatant ships (LCS) scandal had nothing to do with defence secrets but protect the “Big Shark” in the LCS scandal and hide the connection of the Scorpene submarine with the LCS procurements.
The Cabinet next Wednesday should summon the Attorney-General to appear before it and explain the reasons for the redactions in the two reports on the RM9 billion LSC scandal – the Ambrin Report of the Special Investigation Committee on Public Governance, Procurement and Finance the LCS (JKUSTUPKK) and the report of the forensic audit of the LCS procurement (2011-2014) carried out by Alliance IFA (M) Sdn. Annuar Musa should not make “brave” statements about being more proactive in tacking cybercrimes when he continues to be dumb since the revelation a month ago that the Malaysian police are running a “troll farm”
The Minister for Communications and Multimedia, Annuar Musa should not make “brave” statements about being more proactive in tacking cybercimes when he continues to be dumb since the revelation a month ago that the Malaysian Police are running a troll farm.
Does the police running a troll farm come within the definition of what Annuar said in Malacca yesterday that the government would take “offensive, defensive and advocacy measures” in taking the country’s cyber security issues? Read the rest of this entry »
Will the 15GE be about Najib or the nation – whether he should be pardoned and freed without expressing regret for the monstrous mega RM50 billion 1MDB scandal or whether Malaysia must break away from the trajectory of a kleptocracy to become a world-class great nation?

The Prime Minister Ismail Sabri said the decision whether he as the Prime Minister or Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz will present the 2023 Budget to the Dewan Rakyat on Oct 7 has yet to be made.
He said he is checking whether it is allowed according to the constitution and legislation for the Prime Minister to table next year’s budget himself and waiting for the Attorney-General’s advice. Read the rest of this entry »
Zahid’s failure to be a witness in Najib Razak’s SRC International trial to testify that he had met the Arab family who donated cash into Najib’s accounts supports the stand of nine judges that Najib’s Arab donation defence was “untenable” and “unsustainable”

UMNO President Zahid Hamidi’s failure to be a witness in former Prime Minister Najib Razak’s SRC International trial to testify that he had met the Arab family who donated cash into Najib’s accounts supports the stand of nine Malaysian judges that Najib’s Arab donation defence was “untenable” and “unsustainable”.
So far, apart from Zahid, nobody has met physically the mysterious Arab donor as even the delegation the then Attorney-General, Apandi Ali sent to Riyadh in 2015 had failed to meet the mysterious and fabled Arab donor.

Can the UMNO President, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, give a single instance that Najib Razak’s SRC International case is cited in the Commonwealth nations as an unfair trial as it is more than one week since Najib was sent to jail to begin his 12-year imprisonment sentence.
Zahid made this reference in his special address to UMNO delegates last Saturday. Read the rest of this entry »
National Day in 2022 is diametrically different from National Day in the last two years of 2020 and 2021 – as there is now hope and anticipation instead of black despair and hopelessness

The National Day today in 2022 is diametrically different from the National Day in the last two years of 2020 and 2021 – as there is now hope and anticipation instead of black despair and a sense of hopelessness.
In 2020 was the first National Day after the greatest political betrayal in the nation’s history when the Sheraton Move political conspiracy toppled the Pakatan Harapan government and shortened its rule from a mandate for five years to 22 months.

Malaysiaki journalist Hariz Mohd today in a report entitled “LCS scandal: Audit reports show ‘unusual’ deal before govt contract awarded” said two separate audit exercises on Putrajaya’s procurement of six littoral combat ships (LCS) for the Royal Malaysian Navy revealed that there may have been a deal between the main contractor and controversial shipbuilder DCNS before the government issued its contract.
This was based on a quotation issued by DCNS to Boustead Naval Shipyard (BNS) dated Dec 23, 2010, one year before the government awarded the LCS contract to BNS. Read the rest of this entry »
A new chance for a national reset to return to the original nation-building principles and policies in the Constitution and Rukun Negara to make Malaysia a world-class great nation

Malaysia is 65 years old – at a critical point whether we continue to regress and lose out to more and more countries or we bestir ourselves in a national reset to become a world-class great nation.
The jailing of a former Prime Minister is heart-breaking, but it a clear sign that Malaysia can move forward to a national reset and return to the original nation-building principles and policies in the Constitution and Rukun Negara to become a world-class great nation.

Who is the biggest “shark” in the RM9 billion LCS scandal – Najib, Zahid, Hishammuddin or Mat Sabu?

Who is the biggest “shark” in the RM9 billion littoral combatant ships (LCS) scandal – Najib Razak who was Prime Minister and Finance Minister from April 2009 to May 2018, Zahid Hamidi who was Defence Minister from April 2009 to May 2013, Hishammuddin Hussein who was Defence Minister from May 2013 to May 2018, or Mohamad Sabu, Defence Minister from May 2018 to February 2020?

The UMNO President, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi should explain why he has not told the full story to UMNO leaders and members the main role played by him and Najib Razak in the RM9 billion littoral combatant ships (LCS) scandal – the new 1MDB scandal of Malaysia?
I agree with the DAP National Publicity Secretary and MP for Kulai, Teo Nie Ching, that former Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Najib Razak and Zahid, as the Defence Minister at the time, cannot deny responsibility for the LCS scandal. Read the rest of this entry »
A New Malaysia is not a lost cause but it will not be an easy battle – we have taken only the first step in a long, arduous and uncertain struggle for justice, freedom and dignity for all Malaysians

I have said that with the jailing of the former Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, there is now light at the end of the tunnel that Malaysia can return to the nation-building principles our founding fathers have entrenched in the Malaysian Constitution and Rukun Negara – constitutional monarchy, parliamentary democracy, separation of powers, rule of law, good governance, public integrity, meritocracy, respect for human rights and national unity from our multi-racial, multi-lingual, multi-religious and multi-cultural diversity where there are no first-class and second-class citizens whether based on race, religion or region.
Not all agree. There are those who do not see any light at the end of the tunnel and others who are so pessimistic that they expect the light to die off before the end of the tunnel is reached. Read the rest of this entry »
Azam Baki shaping up to be the worst head of anti-corruption agency in Malaysian history for half a century – with RM9 billion LCS scandal as his greatest failure although he had access to the Ambrin Report and the forensic audit report on the LCS scandal for over two years

Azam Baki is shaping up to be the worst head of anti-corruption agency in Malaysian history for half a century with the RM9 billion littoral combatant ships (LCS) scandal his greatest failure although he had access to the Ambrin Report and the forensic report on the LCS scandal for over two years.
Malaysians are entitled to know what Azam did to these two reports – the Special Investigation Committee on Public Governance, Procurement and Finance the LCS (JKUSTUPKK) headed by then auditor-general Ambrin Buang and the report of the forensic audit of the LCS procurement (2011-2014) carried out by Alliance IFA (M) Sdn. Bhd. at the behest of Boustead Heavy Industries Corp Bhd (BHIC) and which contained a myriad of possible corruption charges – when instances of corruption, abuse of power, breach of trust, malpractices and cheating en masse were virtually served on a silver platter to the MACC by these two reports. With Najib’s jailing, there is light at the end of the tunnel that Malaysia will not end up as a failed state like Sri Lanka
Posted by Kit in Najib Razak, nation building on Friday, 26 August 2022, 6:39 am
Today’s launch in Penang of Tony Pua’s Langkah Sheraton NFT project takes place at a critical time in the nation’s history – after 30 months of blackest despair, despondency, dejection and even hopelessness after the Sheraton Move political conspiracy which toppled the 22-month Pakatan Harapan government in February 2020, there is now light at the end of the tunnel that Malaysia will not end up as a failed state like Sri Lanka with the jailing of former Prime Minister, Najib Razak.
There is hope that Malaysia can reset and correct the wrong turn we have taken in nation-building in the last half a century, deviating from the nation-building principles our founding fathers have entrenched in the Malaysian Constitution and Rukun Negara – constitutional monarchy, parliamentary democracy, separation of powers, rule of law, good governance, public integrity, meritocracy, respect for human rights and national unity from our multi-racial, multi-lingual, multi-religious and multi-cultural diversity where there are no first-class and second-class citizens whether based on race, religion or region.

Boustead LCS forensic audit report raises the question why MACC had not acted against anyone for RM9 billion LCS scandal although it was provided with all the evidence in the past two years
Posted by Kit in Corruption, Defence on Thursday, 25 August 2022, 2:47 pm
The Boustead littoral combat ships (LCS) forensic audit report is indeed a horror story of abuse of power, breach of trust, deception, mismanagement and sheer corruption of billions of ringgit of defence procurements, justifying Malaysia’s low “D” category of the high-risk of corruption of countries in Transparency International’s Government Defence Integrity (GDI) Index as well as the plunging score and rank for Malaysia in TI’s annual Corruption Perception Index.
It raises directly questions about the abysmal failure of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to fight corruption Malaysia.

Disappointed that Cabinet had not set up a RCI into RM9 billion LSC scandal yesterday but calls on Ismail Sabri to declassify the report of Council of Eminent Persons and to convene a Special Parliamentary Session on Corruption

Malaysians are disappointed that the Cabinet has not set up a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into the RM9 billion littoral combat ships (LCS) scandal yesterday.
Former Prime Minister and Bersatu President, Muhyiddin Yassin, said the fight against corruption doesn’t end with former Prime Minister Najib Razak being sent to jail, but it is regrettable that the nine Bersatu Ministers in the Cabinet were not prepared to live up to the Bersatu President’s words by pressing for the establishment of a RCI into the LCS scandal.
