Challenge to DAP and PH to do better in the state general election next year than the 15th Parliamentary general election
I am happy to be here tonight for quadruple celebrations:
Firstly, to Ramkarpal Singh for his stunning 63,112 vote-majority and re-election as the MP for Bukit Gelugor.
There is no such thing as an irresistible “green tide” phenomenon

I do not subscribe to the view that there is an irresistible “green tide” phenomenon in Malaysia that will transform the country into a complete Islamic state by 2032 in the 17th General Election (GE17), just as I had not endorsed the theory in the fifties in the last century of the inevitability of the victory of communism in the world.
There is no such thing as the inevitability of events or a theory, whether in international affairs or national politics.
The state general elections in six states will be a crucial test whether the “green tide” in the 15th general election is invincible or a fluke shot
The state general elections in six states — Penang, Selangor, Negri Sembilan, Kelantan, Terengganu, and Kedah — will be a crucial test whether the “green tide” in the 15th General Election is invincible or a fluke shot notwithstanding the 16,260-vote majority win of Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate in Padang Serai parliamentary constituency on Wednesday.
An analysis of the three parliamentary seats won by PN in Penang — two by PAS and one by Bersatu — shows that the combined votes of the two Anwar unity government candidates exceeded the votes of the PN candidates.
Is there an irresistible “green tide” phenomenon in Malaysia which will make Malaysia a complete Islamic state by the 17th General Election before 2032?

Is there an irresistible “green tide” phenomenon in Malaysia which will make Malaysia a complete Islamic state by the 17th General Election before 2032?
This is the prediction of some analysts who see Malaysia inexorably heading in that direction.
Hadi should explain why he is so irresponsible as to make the wild accusation that DAP is promoting Islamophobia when the OIC Islamophobia Observatory in unable to report a single case of Islamophobia in Malaysia although it had monitored all forms of Islamophobia in the world on a daily basis for the past 15 years?

The PAS President, Hadi Awang should explain why he is so irresponsible as to make the wild accusation that DAP is promoting Islamophobia when the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) Islamophobia Observatory in unable to report a single case of Islamophobia in Malaysia although it had monitored all forms of Islamophobia in the world on a daily basis for the past 15 years?
I have gone through the 14 reports on Islamophobia of the OIC Islamophobia Observatory since 2007, which are authoritative accounts of the problem of Islamophobia in the world, but I have not been able to find a single case of Islamophobia in Malaysia reported in the reports in the last 15 years.
Hadi should substantiate or retract his allegation that DAP is promoting Islamophobia as the 428-page 14th OIC Report on Islamophobia in the world, covering the 14 months from Dec 2020–Jan 2022 made no mention whatsoever to any Islamophobia in Malaysia

The PAS President—Hadi Awang—should substantiate or retract his allegation that DAP is promoting Islamophobia as the 428-page 14th Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) Report on Islamophobia in the world, covering the 14 months from Dec 2020 to January 2022 made no mention whatsoever to any Islamophobia in Malaysia.
The OIC report on Islamophobia is published by the OIC Islamophobia Observatory, a specialised Unit, or Centre, currently operating under the supervision of the Political Affairs Department at the OIC General Secretariat.
Will anyone of the 46 PAS MPs resign in protest that their election to Parliament was funded by gambling?

The Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, has implied that Perikatan Nasional (PN)’s election funds party came from gaming companies involved in special draws.
Will anyone of the 46 PAS MPs resign in protest that their election to Parliament was funded by gambling?
Malaysia must learn from the lessons of the 14th and 15th General Elections and not allow Malaysian democracy to be hijacked by the toxic politics of lies, fear, hate, race, and religion
Malaysia must learn from the lessons of the 14th and 15th General Elections and not allow Malaysian democracy to be hijacked by the toxic politics of lies, fear, hate, race, and religion.
One of the lessons Malaysians must learn from the 22-month Pakatan Harapan government is the frightening reality about the intersection of digital technologies and the health of democracies, how digital technology could change the entire political landscape by lies, falsehoods, and fake news through the social media of WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, podcasts, Telegram, and TikTok.
Is the Anwar Ibrahim government the beginning of a new political era or is it a false dawn?

Is the Anwar Ibrahim government the beginning of a new political era or is it a false dawn?
This is the most important question of the 15th General Election on November 19, 2022.
Form a commission of Islamic and non-Islamic experts to report on whether there are political parties promoting Islamophobia and the problem of Islamophobia and the phobias of other religions in Malaysia
PAS President, Hadi Awang, accused the DAP of promoting Islamophobia.
The PAS publication Harakah today published an article headlined “Dasar secular DAP dan liberal PKR mewujudkan Islamophobia”.
Two questions asked by Malaysians: Will the Anwar Government last five years and will there be another Sheraton Move conspiracy to topple an elected government?

Two questions asked by Malaysians are:
- Will the Anwar Government last five years until the 16th General Election in 2027?
- Will there be another Sheraton Move conspiracy to topple an elected government to usher in a third backdoor government in Malaysia?
This is why I support the proposal by the Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim to have a vote of confidence motion in Parliament on December 19, 2022 as the PAS President, Hadi Awang is trying to create another Sheraton Move conspiracy to topple the Anwar Ibrahim premiership.
