Ismail Sabri should not follow the wrong and bad example of 1999 dissolution of Parliament after the 2000 Budget was presented but before it was passed by Parliament

(Versi BM)

One regular conversation topic is when the next 15th General Election will be held.

There is a theory that Parliament will be dissolved in a month’s time after the 2023 Budget is presented to Parliament on Friday, October 7, 2022 but before the Budget is passed by Parliament. Read the rest of this entry »

(Versi BM)

There are five reasons why Zahid Hamidi should step down as UMNO President.

Empty words of “no more delays in LCS project” are not good enough – what are the new milestones for the delivery of the six LCS, will it be during the 13th Malaysia Plan 2026-2030 when the first Letter of Intent (LOI) was issued as far back as the 9th Malaysia Plan?

(Versi BM)
Empty words of “no more delays in the littoral combatant ships (LCS) project” are not good enough.

The first of six LCS was scheduled to be delivered in April 2019, and by now, we should have five LCS (with the sixth to be delivered by June next year but absolutely no construction had been done on it yet) to protect the safety and security of Malaysia. Read the rest of this entry »

Has UMNO from a party of independence fighters become a party of kleptocrats?

(Versi BM)

Has UMNO from a party of independence fighters become a party of kleptocrats?

An UMNO-watcher observed: “In the early days of UMNO, it would be difficult to find a millionaire among UMNO division leaders. After over six decades of Independence, it would be difficult to find an UMNO division leader who is not a millionaire.” Read the rest of this entry »

Can former Prime Minister, Najib Razak, seek a judicial review of his Federal Court appeal in the RM42 million SRC international corruption case after submitting a pardon petition?

Zahid Hamidi should step down as UMNO President as he is unable for a month to clear himself of major responsibility for the RM9 billion littoral combatant ships (LCS) scandal and, even worse, clear Najib Razak as the biggest “shark’ in the scandal

(Versi BM)

Ahmad Zahid Hamidi should step down as UMNO President as he is unable for a month to clear himself of major responsibility for the RM9 billion littoral combatant ships (LCS) scandal, and even worse, clear Najib Razak as the biggest “shark” in the scandal.

A month ago, Zahid was foolish to deny that he was responsible for the RM9 billion LCS scandal. Read the rest of this entry »

Should the Yang di Pertuan Agong be involved in a controversy that claims that the five-judge Federal Court has not done justice?

Hadi himself is the reason why the PAS Non-Muslim wing cannot get Chinese support

(Versi BM)

Yesterday, the PAS President Hadi Awang asked why the PAS Non-Muslim wing cannot get Chinese support and said there is no reason the party should fail to garner support from non-Muslims, pointing to DAP’s record of electing Indian MPs in Chinese-majority seats.

In asking this question, Hadi had only exposed a major defect in his political leadership for Hadi himself is the reason why the PAS Non-Muslim wing and PAS cannot win Chinese or non-Muslim support. Read the rest of this entry »

Is the jailing of former Prime Minister Najib Razak the tipping point for the Malays, who form the dominant majority in Malaysia, to realise that we must all become Malaysians First and not Malay first, Chinese first, Indian First, Kadazan first or Iban first if Malaysia is to succeed as a world-class great nation?

(Versi BM)

Since the jailing of Najib Razak for the monstrous mega 1MDB financial scandal with the dismissal of his appeal by the Federal Court on 23rd August 2022, I have been wrestling with the question:

Whether the jailing of former Prime Minister Najib Razak is the tipping point for Malays in the country, who form the dominant majority in Malaysia, to realise that we must all become Malaysian First, and not Malay first, Chinese first, Indian first, Kadazan first or Iban first if Malaysia is to succeed as a world-class great nation? Agree with Muhyiddin there is no need to debate Hadi’s “root of corruption” remarks as it is as clear as day that they are unMalaysian, irrational, extremist, without any theoretical, theological or factual basis

I agree with Perikatan Nasional Chief Muhyddin Yassin that there is no need to debate the “root cause of corruption” remarks of the PAS President, Abdul Hadi Awang, as it is as clear as day that the remarks are unMalaysian, irrational, extremist, without any theoretical, theological or factual basis.

Islam is one of the great religions of the world and teaches human being to be good, but Hadi has no problem in condoning corruption and working with Najib Razak, one of the masterminds of the monstrous mega 1MDB financial scandal. Read the rest of this entry »

With Rosmah’s conviction and jail sentence, there is more light at the tunnel but the big battle will be the 15th General Election as even the UMNO Secretary-General has agreed that it will be a battle of Rule of Law versus Corruption

With Rosmah Mansor conviction and jail sentence for corruption, a week after Federal Court’s unanimous dismissal of the former Prime Minister’s appeal on Najib’s first corruption trial, there is more light at the end of the tunnel.

There is no guarantee that the “more light at the end of the tunnel” will represent the final victory of the return of the original nation-building principles and policies as stated in the Malaysian Constitution and Rukun Negara, as there is a big battle looming ahead – the 15th General Election. Attorney-General Idrus Harun should clarify whether the redacted sections in the two declassified reports on the RM9 billion LCS scandal had nothing to do with defence secrets but protect the “Big Shark” in the LCS scandal and hide the connection of the Scorpene submarine with the LCS procurements

The Attorney-General Idrus Harun should clarify whether the redacted sections in the two declassified reports on the RM9 billion littoral combatant ships (LCS) scandal had nothing to do with defence secrets but protect the “Big Shark” in the LCS scandal and hide the connection of the Scorpene submarine with the LCS procurements.

The Cabinet next Wednesday should summon the Attorney-General to appear before it and explain the reasons for the redactions in the two reports on the RM9 billion LSC scandal – the Ambrin Report of the Special Investigation Committee on Public Governance, Procurement and Finance the LCS (JKUSTUPKK) and the report of the forensic audit of the LCS procurement (2011-2014) carried out by Alliance IFA (M) Sdn. The Minister for Communications and Multimedia, Annuar Musa should not make “brave” statements about being more proactive in tacking cybercimes when he continues to be dumb since the revelation a month ago that the Malaysian Police are running a troll farm.

Does the police running a troll farm come within the definition of what Annuar said in Malacca yesterday that the government would take “offensive, defensive and advocacy measures” in taking the country’s cyber security issues? Read the rest of this entry »

Will the 15GE be about Najib or the nation – whether he should be pardoned and freed without expressing regret for the monstrous mega RM50 billion 1MDB scandal or whether Malaysia must break away from the trajectory of a kleptocracy to become a world-class great nation?

The Prime Minister Ismail Sabri said the decision whether he as the Prime Minister or Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz will present the 2023 Budget to the Dewan Rakyat on Oct 7 has yet to be made.

He said he is checking whether it is allowed according to the constitution and legislation for the Prime Minister to table next year’s budget himself and waiting for the Attorney-General’s advice. Read the rest of this entry »

Zahid’s failure to be a witness in Najib Razak’s SRC International trial to testify that he had met the Arab family who donated cash into Najib’s accounts supports the stand of nine judges that Najib’s Arab donation defence was “untenable” and “unsustainable”

(Versi BM)

UMNO President Zahid Hamidi’s failure to be a witness in former Prime Minister Najib Razak’s SRC International trial to testify that he had met the Arab family who donated cash into Najib’s accounts supports the stand of nine Malaysian judges that Najib’s Arab donation defence was “untenable” and “unsustainable”.

So far, apart from Zahid, nobody has met physically the mysterious Arab donor as even the delegation the then Attorney-General, Apandi Ali sent to Riyadh in 2015 had failed to meet the mysterious and fabled Arab donor.
