Will UMNO MPs split into two factions with one voting against the 2021 Budget and toppling the Muhyiddin government?

(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

Political pundits and cognoscentis are following closely the political scenario to see whether the 38 UMNO Members of Parliament will split into two factions, with one faction voting against the 2021 Budget during the Second Reading on Thursday and toppling the Perikatan Nasional (PN) government of Muhyiddin Yassin.

The views of one faction were articulated by the former Prime Minister, Najib Razak in his maiden speech as the new Chairman of the Barisan Nasional (BN) Backbenchers’ Club expressing conditional support for next year’s Budget. Read the rest of this entry »

Why did Zahid capitulate so fast and so completely after 30 days of Malaysian Game of Thrones?

(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

The past week confirmed what I said last Thursday that Malaysia was in the midst of an unprecedented political tornado with plots, sub-plots, counter-plots and counter-sub-plots emerging from the woodworks over the shape and form of the government of Malaysia – as the backdoor Muhyiddin government which emerged from the Sheraton Move conspiracy lacked the legitimacy, capability and resources to be an effective government.

But suddenly, with the statement by the UMNO President, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s yesterday reaffirming UMNO’s support for Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and the Perikatan Nasional government, Malaysia’s Game of Thrones seemed to have ground to a halt.

Compare Zahid’s statement on Sept 23 that many UMNO and BN MPs had voiced support for PKR President, Anwar Ibrahim to form a new government and that he respected their position to his statement yesterday calling for a “political ceasefire” so that tackling the Covid-19 pandemic and its economic impact on the people can be prioritised. Najib gripes that UMNO is blamed for the third wave of Covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia when it was solely the fault of Bersatu

(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

Malaysia is now in the midst of an unprecedented political tornado.

The next six-and-half weeks will see plots, sub-plots, counter-plots and counter-sub-plots emerging from the woodworks over the shape and form of the government of Malaysia – as the present backdoor Muhyiddin government which emerged from the byzantine Sheraton Move conspiracy lacks the legitimacy, capability and resources to be an effective government.

This is why in the first public pronouncement by the former Prime Minister and UMNO President, Datuk Seri Najib Razak since he was toppled in the 14th General Election on May 9, 2018, explaining why UMNO should drop support for Bersatu, he griped that UMNO is blamed for the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia as a result of the Sabah state general election when it was solely the fault of Bersatu. UMNO would only have changed if it fights for all Malaysians and not just for one race, condemns 1MDB scandal, corruption and abuses of power in all forms

(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)

Sabah UMNO leader Bung Moktar Radin has asked the people of Sabah to give UMNO a chance as UMNO and BN have changed and are committed to a fairer, transparent and trustworthy administration.

At the launching of the UMNO and BN manifesto Aku Janji, the foul-mouthed Bung Mohtar who is notorious for desecrating Parliament with four-lettered words and despicable utterances particularly against women, said UMNO and BN have changed because they want the people to support them.

I am tempted to inform Bung Moktar: Tell it to the marines! Read the rest of this entry »

Why has Tok Mat descended to the level of paid UMNO cybertroopers?

Who will believe that the 42 BN MPs and 18 Pas MPs now support Pakatan Harapan 14GE Manifesto and the arrest and trial of Najib and former top BN leaders – and if so, will they make such a declaration?

Dalam memperkenalkan Manifesto Pilihan Raya Umum ke-14, Buku Harapan, Pengerusi Pakatan Harapan Tun Dr Mahathir pada 8 Mac 2018 telah mengatakan: Read the rest of this entry »

Asyraf’s lies and hate speeches are the real threats to Malay and Malaysian dignity and the reasons why strong corrective action are necessary and imperative to prevent fake news and hate speech to incite inter-racial and inter-religious polarisation from destroying Malaysia

Read the rest of this entry »

An example of the evil and lunacy of the recent upsurge of fake news and hate speech to incite inter-racial and inter-religious polarisation and conflagration

I discovered today another evil and lunatic example in the recent upsurge of fake news and hate speech to incite inter-racial and inter-religious polarisation and confrontation and why the government must take immediate action against such dangerous trash.

The following post on the social media accused the DAP as the real organiser of the Malay Dignity Congress, making use of Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and Bersatu.

Under the heading “KONGRES MARUAH MELAYU AGENDA POLITIK TERDESAK DAP MELALUI PPBM – MELAYU JANGAN TERJERAT”, it said among other things:

Read the rest of this entry »

Malaysians must give serious attention to the latest Oxford Internet Institute (OII) Report on “The Global Disinformation Order: 2019 Global Inventory of Organised Social Media Manipulation” as it gives a timely warning of the national risks if fake news and hate speech to incite inter-racial and inter-religious polarisation in Malaysia are allowed untrammelled licence

Malaysians must given serious attention to the latest Oxford Internet Institute (OII) Report on “The Global Disinformation Order : 2019 Global Inventory of Organised Social Media Manipulaiton” as its give a timely warning of the national risks if fake news and hate speech to incite inter-racial and inter-religious polarisation in Malaysia are allowed untrammeled licence.

Fake news and hate speech are evil influences by themselves, but when coupled with the agenda to incite inter-racial and inter-religious polarisation in plural Malaysia, they become exceedingly toxic and destructive which must be checked if the fabric of Malaysian society is not to be torn asunder.

The latest OII report finds that organised social media manipulation has more than doubled since 2017, with 70 countries using “computational propaganda” to manipulate public opinion.

Facebook is the platform of choice and is used in formally organised campaigns taking place in 56 countries.

The report states that such tools are used in 45 democracies, by politicians and political parties, to amass fake followers or spread manipulated media to garner voter support. Read the rest of this entry »

PAS-UMNO Himpunan Penyatuan Ummah (HPU) is not about Malays or Muslims but about saving UMNO from oblivion and keeping UMNO leaders out of jail and giving PAS the opportunity to be Big Brother in a PAS-UMNO alliance and for PAS President to have a shot to be Prime Minister of Malaysia

Pertama, siapa yang berada di dalam kerajaan sejak enam dekad yang lalu dan bagaimana mungkin untuk kerajaan Pakatan Harapan memperbetulkan masalah yang diciptakan UMNO dalam tempoh masa satu, dua atau lima tahun sedangkan hegemoni UMNO dalam kerajaan telah bersarang selama enam dekad lamanya, yang agenda sebenarnya bukan untuk mengangkat taraf kehidupan bumiputera tetapi sebaliknya untuk mewujudkan UMNO-putra yang hari ini telah menciptakan kleptokrat global Malaysia pertama yang menjadi watak penting dalam skandal rasuah membabitkan 1MDB. Pakatan Harapan tidak akan menghapuskan apa yang baik untuk negara, tetapi akan melaksanakan pembaharuan terhadap apa yang buruk dan menjejaskan negara;

Read the rest of this entry »

The PAS-UMNO HPU and its Charter last Saturday have resulted in escalation of fake news and hate speech in the manipulation of issues of race and religion to polarise inter-racial and inter-religious relations in the country

The PAS-UMNO Himpunan Penyatuan Ummah (HPU) and its Charter last Saturday have resulted in the escalation of fake news and hate speech in the manipulation of issues of race and religion in the past five days to polarise inter-racial and inter-religious relations in the country.

First, UMNO Vice President and former Minister, Datuk Ismail Sabri perpetrated the fake news that Jakim and the halal certification process had been transferred to the Finance Ministry, and disseminated the hate speech to create alarm, fear and hate among Muslims that non-Muslims are now responsible for the halal certification process.

Next, on Malaysia Day on Monday, PAS President, Datuk Seri Hadi Awang perpetrated the vile and divisive fake news at a Malaysia Day function in Bintulu that DAP wanted to give control of the state and its wealth to the Chinese and disseminated the equally vile and divisive hate speech to create alarm, fear and hate among Malays and Muslims that the DAP was “the biggest leader” in the Pakatan Harapan government in Putrajaya to ensure “the wealth for Chinese only, not for all people; other people are left behind”!

Third, since the PAS-UMNO HPU and its Charter, there had been an upsurge of vile and divisive fake news and hate speech on the social media exploiting the 3Rs to depict a false picture of DAP as anti-Malay, anti-Islam and anti-Royalty.

Fourth, the PAS Deputy President, Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man yesterday ramped up the attack on DAP alleging that it was pursuing a “Christianisation agenda”, citing as example the speech by the Deputy Youth and Sports Minister and DAP MP for Bukit Mertajam, Steven Sim, at a “New Malaysia Narrative” forum on “Anak Malaysia? Our Story of Past, Present and Future Malaysia” at Mega Chinese Methodist Church in Kota Damansara.

I was shocked by Tuan Ibrahim’s allegation when I first read it in the media, but Steven Sim has since explained that he was speaking to Christians in a church and had discussed their responsibilities as Malaysians. Read the rest of this entry »

Third proof that HPU National Co-operation Charter is Charter for Fake News and Hate Speech – upsurge of fake news and hate speech on social media exploiting 3Rs to depict a false picture of DAP as anti-Malay, anti-Islam and anti-Royalty within 48 hours of the Charter

The third proof that the so-called National Co-operation Charter signed by PAS and UMNO at the Himpunan Penyatuan Ummah (HPU) at the UMNO headquarters at PWTC on Saturday was actually a Charter for Fake New and Hate Speech was the upsurge of fake news and hate speech on the social media exploiting the 3Rs to depict a false picture of DAP as anti-Malay, anti-Islam and anti-Royalty within 48 hours of the signing of the Charter.

The first proof was the speech by the UMNO Vice President Datuk Ismail Sabri at the HPU on Saturday perpetrating the fake news that Jakim and the halal certification process had been transferred to the Finance Ministry, and the hate speech to create alarm, fear and hate among Muslims that non-Muslims are now responsible for the halal certification process.

The second proof was the speech by the PAS President, Datuk Seri Hadi Awang in Bintulu at a Malaysia Day event where he perpetrated the fake news that DAP wanted to give control of the state and its wealth to the Chinese and the hate speech to create alarm, fear and hate among Malays and Muslims that the DAP was “the biggest leader” in the Pakatan Harapan government in Putrajaya to ensure that “the wealth for Chinese only, not for all people; other people are left behind”!

The third proof was that within 48 hours of the signing of the so-called National Co-operation Charter by PAS and UMNO leaders, there was an upsurge of fake news and hate speech on the social media exploiting the 3Rs to depict a false picture of DAP as anti-Malay, anti-Islam and anti-Royalty. PAS-UMNO promoters of Himpunan Peyatuan Ummah should demand an unqualified apology from Ismail Sabri for his fake news and hate speech at HPU had contaminated the National Co-operation Charter into a Charter for Fake News and Hate Speech

DAP MP for Kepong, Lim Lip Eng, has given UMNO Vice President and former Najib Minister, Datuk Ismail Sabri 24 hours to retract and apologise for the latter’s fake news and hate speech that the halal certification process was transferred from Jakim to the Finance Ministry.

Should Ismail fail to do so within 24 hours, Lim intends to lodge reports with the police, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and Islamic authorities over the matter.

Ismail Sabri made the statement during the Himpunan Penyatuan Ummah 2019 gathering in Kuala Lumpur on Friday.

Jakim had countered Ismail Sabri’s claims, saying in a statement by its Corporate Communications Unit: “Jakim denies this statement and confirms that up to now, Jakim and the Islamic religious authorities in the relative states are still responsible for halal certification.”

As Lip Eng rightly said, as a senior politician and former cabinet minister, Ismail Sabri must be held accountable. Read the rest of this entry »

Najib would have fully approved of the PAS-UMNO alliance of klepto-theocracy as his global kleptocracy has continued to make waves – paving the way to make PAS and UMNO “one family”

Barisan Nasional Adviser, Datuk Seri Najib Razak would have fully approved of the PAS-UMNO Alliance as his global kleptocracy is continuing to make waves – paving the way to make PAS and UMNO “one family”.

Imagine getting an Islamist party to virtually accept kleptocracy as a major plank of the alliance, which must be a “first” in the world – a founder of the Global Movement of Moderates moving on to be a founder of the Global Movement of Kleptocrats!

And even more “satisfying”, MCA and MIC are again playing ball and giving their blessing for the PAS-UMNO alliance of klepto-theocracy, despite the earlier MCA threat to “kick” UMNO out of Barisan Nasional if it “coddles up with PAS” to form an unholy pact with PAS.

A wag would have said that in celebrating the PAS-UMNO alliance of klepto-theocracy, PAS has become “kafir” which UMNO had accused it of, and UMNO become “deviant” as it had been denounced by PAS, with both endorsing the global kleptocrat as their leader, open or covert. Who will be the Prime Minister if PAS-UMNO alliance of klepto-theocracy wins the 15th General Election – Najib again or Hadi or Zahid Hamidi?

Adakah Datuk Seri Najib Razak?

Don’t deregister UMNO – let it self-destruct!

Is Zahid nuts?

The question everyone is asking after the UMNO President, Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi’s speech at the Ipoh Barat UMNO Division yesterday is: “Is Zahid nuts?”

Zahid was very macho and exclaimed that UMNO’s opponents will have to cross the dead bodies of its party members if they want to try and dissolve the party.

In my 53 years in politics, which involved two imprisonment under the Internal Security Act, dragged to court for a variety of charges including under the Official Secrets Acts, and being the victim of the worst and longest, and continuing, demonization campaign against any politician in the nation’s history, the thought of the dissolution of UMNO had never crossed my mind.

In fact, the thought of dissolution of other political parties, like MCA, MIC and Gerakan, had never entered my mind.

If I had never entertained the thought of the dissolution of marginal parties like MCA, MIC or Gerakan, why should I have thought about the dissolution of UMNO?

Why am I saying these things?

Very simple. Zahid and other proponents of klepto-theocracy had accused Mahathir of being my stooge and that I am the puppet-master. Read the rest of this entry »

Is UMNO under Zahid prepared to declare that klepto-theocracy or the misuse of Islam to support thievery, corruption, intolerance, bigotry, lies and falsehood is totally against the Malaysian Dream to unite Malaysians to build a top world-class nation respected and admired by the world?

UMNO President, Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi has become a classic case of a political leader whose statements frequently boomerang on him, raising the question posed by Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad about UMNO leaders becoming “dumb and dumber” over the years.

His latest and second smacking of PKR President, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim again had this boomerang effect on himself.

Zahid said UMNO rejects any offer to co-operate with Anwar as long as he is in “cahoots” with DAP.

Zahid may suffer from short memory.

It was only a week ago that Zahid insinuated that the Prime Minister and Bersatu President Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad was a stooge of DAP in saying that UMNO practised a culture of becoming “dumb and dumber”.

I must be a Master Machiavelli to be pulling the strings on two stooges, Mahahthir and Anwar, and going by this logic, Zahid must refuse to have anything to do with both of them.

However, PAS President, Haji Hadi Awang said yesterday that his party will work to keep Mahathir as Prime Minister for the full term, denying any handover of power to Anwar as agreed by the Pakatan Harapan consensus in January 2018. Read the rest of this entry »

Proponents of klepto-theocracy in attack mode with more lies and falsehoods as accusing me of condemning Muslims as thieves and corrupt

Yesterday, while supporting the idea proposed by Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad in Ankara that Muslim countries like Malaysia, Turkey and Pakistan pool their resources to make Islamic civilisation great again, I made the point that it is not possible to make Islamic civilisation great again based on klepto-theocracy – the political doctrine which misuses Islam to peddle lies, falsehoods, distrust, suspicion, hatred and which supports thievery and corruption.

This elicited an immediate attack by the proponents of klepto-theocracy, pouring out more lies and falsehoods as accusing me of condemning Muslims as thieves and being corrupt.

Only simpletons and the retarded will believe in such garbage, for there are Muslims who are thieves and corrupt just as there are non-Muslims who are thieves and corrupt.

A person becomes a thief or is corrupt not because of his religion but despite his religion – in fact if he is a pious follower of Islam or the great religions of the world, the last thing he would do is to become a thief or corrupt – as he had disregarded the basic teachings of Islam and the great religions of the world to be good, pious, virtuous and God-fearing.

Thanks again to Zahid for latest proof of the meaning of “klepto-theocracy” – the political alliance based on misuse of Islam to support thievery, corruption, intolerance, bigotry, lies and falsehoods

I must thank the UMNO President, Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi for the latest proof of the meaning of “klepto-theocracy” – the political alliance based on misuse of Islam to support thievery, corruption, intolerance, bigotry, lies and falsehoods.

After the UMNO Supreme Council meeting yesterday, Zahid said that UMNO will not “open the door” of negotiation and co-operation with any party that has a relationship with DAP.

He said: “There will be no negotiation any party in the Pakatan Harapan coalition as long as they share the power with DAP.”

The question Zahid should ask is who will co-operate with a party which is headed by a President who is making history in having a total of 87 criminal charges related to corruption?

Or the further question, who will co-operate with a political coalition whose advisor was the person who had brought infamy, ignominy and iniquity to Malaysia because of the international 1MDB scandal, condemned in an international conference by the US Attorney-General as “kleptocracy at its worst” and who is on trial for 42 criminal charges relating to corruption, abuse of power and money-laundering?
