Anwar must walk the talk of his anti-corruption commitment and produce results within a year when Transparency International releases its Corruption Perception Index 2023 next January

(Versi BM)

The 10th Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, must walk the talk of his anti-corruption commitment and produce results within a year when Transparency International (TI) releases its 2023 Corruption Perception Index (CPI) next January.

It is too late for Anwar to do anything to improve Malaysia’s rank and score in the TI CPI 2022 which will be released later this month — which is likely to be the worst in the history of Malaysia in the 28-year series of TI CPI despite the 2019 TI CPI under the 22-month Pakatan Harapan government which was the best TI CPI in 25 years.

Jalan Raja Uda is the only street in Malaysia, and probably the world, to have 10,000 red-silk lanterns to welcome the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit — heralding a Successful World-Class Malaysia in the making

(Versi BM)

The ceremony tonight to light the 10,000 red-silk lanterns at Jalan Raja Uda in Butterworth is significant not only because Jalan Raja Uda is the only street in Malaysia, and probably the world, to have 10,000 red-silk lanterns to welcome the Chinese New Year of the Rabbit in two weeks’ time, it marked the end of the Covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia and a reset of Malaysia to make Malaysians all over the world proud to be Malaysians.

Malaysians relieved that Kota Kinabalu Move to topple the Hajiji government has failed — a salutary reminder of the fragility of the Anwar unity government, and the overriding need for political stability for the next five year for Malaysia to start anew to become a first-rate world-class plural nation

(Versi BM)

Malaysians are relieved that Kota Kinabalu Move topple the Hajiji government has failed — although it is a salutary reminder of the fragility of the Anwar unity government, and the overriding need for political stability for the next five year for Malaysia to start anew to become a first-rate world-class plural nation.

The Kota Kinabalu Move has acted as a vaccine to strengthen the resolve of Malaysians that they have enough of plots and counter-plots in Malaysian politics, that what Malaysia needs is political stability for the next five years for Malaysia to undo the wrongs and abuses of the last six decades of Malaysian nation-building which had reduced Malaysia to a second-rate mediocre country.

If criticism of Hadi means promoting Islamophobia, then Muhyiddin Yassin is most guilty of promoting Islamophobia in Malaysia

(Versi BM)

If criticism of PAS President, Hadi Awang means promoting Islamophobia, then Muhyiddin Yassin is most guilty of promoting Islamophobia in Malaysia.

Hadi will find it easy to look up the archives to find past videos of Muhyiddin labelling PAS as “parti ajaran sesat”, which I have never done.

Hamzah and Sanusi have made it easier to prove that there is no such thing as an irresistible “green tide” phenomenon to transform Malaysia into a theocratic state

(Versi BM)

The Parliamentary Opposition Leader, Hamzah Zainudin and the Kedah Menteri Besar, Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor have made it easier to prove that there is no such thing as an irresistible “green tide” phenomenon to transform Malaysia into a theocratic state.

Hamzah, in his Concorde Club speech, said Perikatan Nasional (PN) could capture Selangor state government and that PN has a 50-50 chance to capture Negeri Sembilan in the state general elections of Penang, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Kedah, Kelantan, and Terengganu to be held in the first half of the year.

Hamzah’s “Door always open” statement at the Concorde Club yesterday a sombre reminder why the Anwar unity government should have zero tolerance to toxic politics of lies, fear, hate, race, and religion which are based not only on falsehoods but could destroy the Anwar government and plural Malaysia as well

(Versi BM)

The “Door always open” statement by the Parliamentary Opposition Leader, Hamzah Zainudin, that he does not discount the prospect of Perikatan Nasional (PN) returning to power is a sombre reminder why the Anwar unity government should have zero tolerance to toxic politics of lies, fear, hate, race, and religion which are not only based on falsehoods but could destroy not only the Anwar government and plural Malaysia as well.

A PN government is not concerned about achieving a tiger economy for Malaysia, or restoring Malaysia’s greatness as world-class plural nation in education, health, social, or environmental terms, but in a direction which will end up on Malaysia’s Centennial in 2057 as a divided, failed, and kleptocratic state.

The six State General Elections will be a crucial test whether the Anwar unity government will have political stability to last for five years to give Malaysia a chance to change course to again become a first-rate world-class plural nation

(Versi BM)

Firstly, I must congratulate V. Ganabatirau for his 91,801 vote-majority win in the Klang Parliamentary constituency in the 15th General Election, the third parliamentary constituency with the largest majority.

His 115,539-vote win in the Klang Parliamentary Constituency has proved that Klang is one of the strongest bases of the DAP’s Malaysian Dream for a united, just, democratic, and prosperous plural nation which is of first-rate world-class standards.

Why the three-week eerie silence of the accusers to cite a single instance to prove DAP is anti-Malay, anti-Islam, communist and promoting Islamophobia from the 14-year DAP-led Penang State Government from 2008 to 2022?

(Versi BM)

Three weeks ago, I invited Malaysians from Perlis to Johore, as well as in Sabah and Sarawak, to cite an instance of the DAP being anti-Malay, anti-Islam, communist and promoting Islamophobia from the 14 years of DAP-led Penang State Government from 2008 to 2022.

But there were no takers. Instead, there was a long eerie silence which does not befit honest, upright, and righteous accusers of wrongdoing by others.

Malaysia must spend the last third of Malaysia’s Centennial to make the nation great again and not again lose the national compass as entrenched in the Malaysian Constitution and Rukun Negara as happened in the second third of the Centennial

Today is the first day of the new year 2023.

2023 will be tough and challenging year for Malaysia, for we want to compete with the world by becoming a world-class nation and not destroy ourselves by fighting among Malaysians through the use of toxic and divisive politics of lies, fear, hate, race, and religion.

Malaysia started New Year on good and proper footing — let us make Malaysia great again where abuses of power, corruption, and kleptocracy are no more associated with Malaysia

(Versi BM)

Malaysia started the 2023 New Year on a good and proper footing.

The old year of 2022 ended with an unprecedented stretch of 15 days in double-digit figures for the Covid-19 pandemic cases and 19 consecutive days in single-digit figures for Covid-19 deaths — with even one day (Christmas Day on Dec. 25) with zero death.
