Lee Shin Cheng should be a role model for all Malaysians to become a great Malaysian if the country is the fulfill the Malaysian Dream to become a world top-class nation

Together with the Deputy Minister for Defence, Liew Chin Tong and other party leaders, I paid my last respect to Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng in Putrajaya.

Tan Sri Lee Shin Cheng’s passing is a great loss to the nation.

He should a role model for all Malaysians to become a great Malaysian if the country is to fulfil the Malaysian Dream to become a world top-class nation.

A self-made man with a humble beginning, Shin Cheng is an example of what could be achieved with hard work, dedication, perseverance, grit and vision by a person even without university education.

Shin Cheng is a rarity in present-day Malaysia. If Malaysia to fulfill her vision to become a world top-class nation in every field of human endeavour, then we must create conditions in a New Malaysia where a Shin Cheng is not a rarity but commonplace in the country.

Malaysia needs not just one Shin Cheng, but an army of Shin Chengs from among all ethnic groups in the country, so that Malaysia can compete with the rest of the world and not continue to be obsessed by divisive and destructive mindset preoccupied about competition among Malaysians.

Call for upward revision of housing allowances for police personnel in Johor Bahru and other major cities to offset higher cost of living

During the visit  of my team to the Johor Baru Utara Police and the briefing by the Johore Baru OCPD Assistant Commissioner Mohd Taib Ahmad and the other police chiefs in JB Utara district, I was shocked to learn of the terrible condition of police housing in the area.

I am reminded of one of the  11 recommendations of the Police Royal commission 14 years ago which recommended the formation of the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission (IPCMC) which was headed by former
Chief Justice Tun Mohamad Dzaiddin and former and longest-serving Inspector-General of Police, Tun Hanif Omar to improve the welfare for the police force.

One of these recommendations proposed the
provision of “special allowance for PDRM personnel stationed in major cities, such as the Klang Valley, Johor Bahru, and Georgetown to offset the higher cost of living faced by them”.

Previous Government had forgotten about the five principles of Rukunegara or it would never have allowed Malaysia to become a global kleptocracy heading in the trajectory of a failed and rogue state

Slightly over a year ago, Malaysians performed a political miracle when against all odds, they peacefully and democratically saved Malaysia from becoming a failed, rogue and kleptocratic state.

The previous government and its Ministers and leaders had forgotten about the five principles of Rukunegara or they would never have allowed Malaysia to become a global kleptocracy heading in the trajectory of a failed and rogue state.

This is why all Malaysians must always remember the Rukunegara, the principles and objectives, which state:

“WHEREAS OUR COUNTRY, MALAYSIA nurtures the ambitions of:

· Achieving a more perfect unity amongst the whole of her society;

· Preserving a democratic way of life;

· Creating a just society where the prosperity of the country can be enjoyed together in a fair and equitable manner;

· Guaranteeing a liberal approach towards her rich and varied cultural traditions; and

· Building a progressive society that will make use of science and modern technology.

WE, HER PEOPLE, pledge our united efforts to attain these ends guided by these principles:

· BELIEF IN GOD

· LOYALTY TO KING AND COUNTRY

· THE SUPREMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION

· THE RULE OF LAW

· COURTESY AND MORALITY.”

Call on President Trump to abandon his “bully tactics”, end the US-China trade war and co-operate with Beijing to secure a “win-win” solution for 5G development of the world

I call on the US President Trump to abandon his “bully tactics”, end the US-China trade war and co-operate with Beijing to secure a “win-win” solution for the 5G development of the world.

Fifty years ago in 1969, the United States won the 14-year-old space race with the Soviet Union since the first successful launch of the first Soviet Union Sputnik artificial satellite in 1955 by landing the first humans on the Moon with Apollo 11.

Today, the United States is virtually conceding defeat in the race for technological supremacy with China when US President Trump exercised the “nuclear option” and added Huawei and 68 of its non-US affiliates to a blacklist, officially called the Entity List, on May 16 restricting the Shenzen-based company’s ability to purchase hardware, software and services from its American hi-tech suppliers without approval from the US government.

This marked a tech cold war and it could slow down or dramatically alter the rollout of the 5G technology and infrastructure likely to define the future of the Internet for the next decade and intertwine factories, power plants, airports, hospitals and government agencies. Would Najib agree that in orchestrating Black Tuesday of 28th July 2015 and the Week of Long Knives, he was guilty of the most detrimental acts to parliamentary democracy in Malaysian history?

Najib does not want Malaysians to remember the lessons of history, as he hopes to return as a global kleptocrat and to repeat the same heinous mistakes for Malaysia to again become a global kleptocracy

Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak does not want Malaysians to remember the lessons of history, as he hopes to return as a global kleptocrat and to repeat the same heinous mistakes for Malaysia to again become a global kleptocracy.

As far as Najib is concerned, he does not want Malaysians to heed the famous saying of thinker George Santayana that “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”.

Najib does not want Malaysians to know or remember the 1MDB global kleptocracy, Black Tuesday of July 28, 2015 or the “Week of the Long Knives” at the end of July 2015 when Najib orchestrated a multi-faceted operation to undermine parliamentary democracy by attacking important principles of democracy in Malaysia like the rule of law, the doctrine of separation of powers, good governance and public integrity as well as a systematic attack on the independence, impartiality and professionalism of key national institutions like Parliament, the Cabinet, the Attorney-General’s Chambers, Police, Bank Negara, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, the Auditor-General, etc.

The Week of Long Knives launched the darkest period in the 61-year democratic history of Malaysia and yet to this day, this episode is couched in great mystery with most Malaysians quite ignorant about it.

This is why I had suggested that a police report should be lodged so that the police could investigate and unravel the heinous crimes committed by Najib and his ilk on Black Tuesday of July 28, 2015 and the Week of Long Knives, as Malaysians must not ignore Santayana’s warning that “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”!

Does Najib agree to a full police investigation of Black Tuesday of July 28, 2015, the “Week of Long Knives” and the darkness they ushered for Malaysian democracy until the Malaysian voters bravely, courageously and unexpectedly shook off the shroud of darkness in the 14th General Election of May 9, 2018? Investigate and charge Najib for “Week of Long Knives” for Penal Code offence of “activities detrimental to parliamentary democracy” or repeal the criminal provision altogether

It shows the extent of the delusion of some Opposition leaders that they believe and hope that there will be a snap general election, when there are no signs whatsoever why the Pakatan Harapan Government in Putrajaya should not serve out its full term.

The Pakatan Harapan government is stronger today after having weathered its first year, which unexpectedly, had to be focussed on draining the swamp – and what is most shocking, was to discover how horrendous was the swamp that was left behind by the UMNO/BN Government.

Although the task of draining the swamp is not fully done, the second year of Pakatan Harapan Government in Putrjaya should be better than the first year in terms of delivery of Pakatan Harapan pledges to create a New Malaysia.

It is not possible to undo the corruption, abuses of power and deviations caused by six decades of UMNO/BN government, as it cannot be accomplished in a hundred days or a year but a mission which will take years and even over a decade. Read the rest of this entry »

Establish a Royal Commission of Inquiry to fully reveal the Week of Long Knives Operation in July 2015 which attacked important constitutional principles of democracy and undermined the independence and professionalism of key national institutions

In Penang yesterday, former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak claimed “a huge moral victory” that the debate between him and me is off.

According to The Malaysian Insider, Najib said my backing out from the debate had implications for my “political credibility”, that it’s going to leave an indelible impression of me as a political leader on the minds of the people and he reiterated that failing to go through with the debate, I had lost the right to attack him.

Najib only proves his political bankruptcy and immorality when he could claim “moral victory” because of a cancelled debate while thunderously silent for years about global kleptocracy.

I am sorry to disappoint Najib, but for the past four days that I have moved about in the Malaysian public domain, including a visit to Sandakan, I have not felt or detected any fall-off of my political credibility or any perception that he had scored “a huge moral victory”. Malaysia would have been saved from the infamy, ignominy and iniquity of being condemned by the world as a global kleptocracy if Zahid and other BN leaders had demanded full accountability from Najib in the Week of Long Knives in July 2015

I am in Sandakan to attend the dinner organised by Sandakan DAP to celebrate the historic victory of DAP, Pakatan Harapan and Warisan in the Sandakan by-election on May 11, 2019.

While waiting at KLIA to board the aircraft for Sandakan, I was taken aback to read the Malaysiakini report about the former Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s speech at a breaking fast event at a surau in Bangi, entitled: “18 missed calls – Zahid recounts fateful night ‘Bossku’ made him DPM”.

The report said Zahid lamented that he could not spend “Lailatulqadar” in Mecca as was his tradition, revealing that when he was in the holy city for the occasion in 2015, it also marked his appointment as deputy prime minister. Read the rest of this entry »

Let first year of Pakatan Harapan Government be the year of the kleptocrats and the second year be the year of the sharks in the war against corruption

The objective of the new Inspector-General of Police, Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador, to eradicate corruption in the police force is a very tall order and he deserves the support of all right-thinking Malaysians, as the police had been regarded as among the most corrupt of all government departments.

In July 2017, the then Home Minister Datuk Seri Zahid Hamidi said that the Royal Malaysian Police was acknowledged as the best in ASEAN, but this international recognition was not the general Malaysian perception. He estimated that only 20% of the public were positive about the police.

Zahid’s claim in 2017 that the RMP was acknowledged as the best in ASEAN was not borne out by the 2017 Global Corruption Barometer (GCB) study released by Transparency International in February 2017, based on a survey of 16 countries in Asia-Pacific.

The 2017 GCB found that the 60% of the respondents from Malaysia felt that the level of corruption in Malaysia had increased, which was higher than the regional average of 40%; 62% felt that the government was handling the fight against corruption in government BADLY, as compared to the regional average of 50%. Hamid Bador is doing what none of his 11 predecessors as Inspector-General of Police had dared to do in six decades: for the Malaysian Police be among the cleanest and most incorruptible government departments in the country and among the cleanest and most incorruptible police forces in the world

Datuk Seri Abdul Hamid Bador is doing what none of his 11 predecessors as Inspector-General of Police had dared to do in six decades – for the Malaysian Police to be among the cleanest and most incorruptible government departments in the country and among the cleanest and most incorruptible police forces in the world.

His warning to the “men in blue” to sever ties with criminals before it is too late for them to repent is welcomed by all Malaysians who want to see the Malaysian police force to be among the world’s top police forces, which is efficient, professional, people-friendly and corruption-free – symbol of a New Malaysia.

Hamid Badar said that as long as the policemen had not been nabbed, “haven’t worn the orange jumpsuit yet”, there was time for them to disentangle themselves from the underworld.

He reminded all police personnel to remember the oath they had taken, swearing that they will uphold the law instead of getting involved in vices. Read the rest of this entry »

Support for new legislation to curb hate speech particularly relating to religion

Najib is the most malignant political force in the history of Malaysia – global kleptocrat, habitual liar and greatest threat to the vision of a united, progressive and prosperous Malaysia

Read the rest of this entry »

Najib/UMNO Psy-War HQ’s directive to UMNO cybertroopers to target DAP to cause collapse of Pakatan Harapan Government and save Najib from being sent to Sungai Buloh Prison

I have seen a secret directive sent out through WhatsApp by Najib/UMNO Psy-War HQ to UMNO cybertroopers to target DAP to cause collapse of the Pakatan Harapan government and save former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak from being sent to Sungai Buloh Prison.

The WhatsApp secret directive reads:

“c&p

This is further evidence to substantiate my prediction two days ago that the Najib/Jho Low/UMNO Psy-War High Command had decided on a new game-plan to cause the collapse and disintegration of the Pakatan Harapan Government and save the Malaysian Kleptocratic Duo from accountability for the 1MDB scandal by creating or magnifying rifts and divisions between political parties and personalities in Pakatan Harapan, and distorting them into racial or religious conflicts. Shahredzan and Ahmad Faiz appointed to liaise with Najib’s officers to finalise details on the debate with Najib: “How Malaysia became a global kleptocracy and how we can become a leading nation of integrity” after Hari Raya

Is Najib a pathological or habitual liar? Is he prepared to debate “How Malaysia became a global kleptocracy and how we can become a leading nation of integrity”?

Instantaneous proof of new tactics in Najib-Jho Low game-plan to cause collapse and disintegration of Pakatan Harapan Government to enjoy immunity for the 1MDB kleptocratic scandal

The Najib-Jho Low grand strategy to escape accountability for the 1MDB mega scandal and for two Malaysian kleptocratic duo to escape spending their remaining years in Sungai Buloh Prison

I can discern five tactics which had been used by the former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak and his partner-in-kleptocracy, Jho Low in the past year to nullify the historic decision of the Malaysian people in the 14th General Elections on May 9, 2018 as part of grand strategy of the Malaysian kleptocratic duo, Najib Razak and Jho Low to escape accountability for the 1MDB mega scandal and escape spending their remaining years in Sungai Buloh Prison.

The five tactics which had been deployed in the Najib-Jho Low grand strategy in the past year were:

Firstly, to unabashedly and even shamelessly parade around the country in the “Malu Apa Bossku” campaign with the subliminal message that Najib had committed no wrong in the 1MDB scandal and to portray him as a victim of persecution by Pakatan Harapan government.

Secondly, to create a public opinion that enough had been said about the 1MDB scandal and Najib’s kleptocracy, that the 14th General Election is over and let the courts decide whether Najib was guilty of corruption or not, but for now, the ball is in Pakatan Harapan’s court and that what the people wanted to hear was what the PH government had achieved to lower the cost of living and bring about institutional reforms. Tandem with the creation of this public opinion, the kleptocratic duo’s cybertroopers were entrusted with the task of dominating the media, in particular the social media, to shout down those who speak or write about 1MDB and Najib’s kleptocracy as if they had commited a some heinous crime akin to treason – when in fact, it was Najib’s kleptocracy which was the real treason.

Thirdly, to peddle the toxic and vicious politics of lies and falsehoods to create distrust, intolerance and hate shouting from the rooftops and treetops that Malay rights and Islam are under threat and the need for Malay and Muslim unity to protect these rights and interests. Daim is half-right – Pakatan Harapan should not dance to the tune of Najib but should compel Najib to dance to the tune of Pakatan Harapan narrative

Tun Daim Zainuddin is half-right – Pakatan Harapan should not dance to the tune of former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, but should compel Najib to dance to the tune of the Pakatan Harapan narrative.

I do not agree with Daim that Pakatan Harapan should forget about Najib, as the former Prime Minister is the de facto leader not only of UMNO-PAS axis, but the unofficial opposition combination which included MCA and MIC, but also PBS and the other Sabah other opposition parties and GPS in Sarawak.

The landslide 11,52-vote majority victory of DAP, Pakatan Harapan and Warisan in the Sandakan by-election on May 11 is not only a debacle for PBS, but of the combined Oppostion and Najib’s “Malu Apa Bossku” narrative, as PBS was only a digit of Najib’s great gameplan to ensure that the Pakatan Harapan Government would at most be a one-term government and that Najib’s travails would end by the 15th General Election and he could escape life in Sungai Buloh Prison.

A commentator had described the PBS candidate Linda Tsen as a reluctant candidate and that she had political baggage. I believe that PBS was an even greater reluctant political party to field a candidate in the Sandakan by-election as PBS had even greater political baggage after singly ruling for 10 years and as part of Barisan Nasional for 16 years.

“Malu Apa Bossku” campaign violates Rukunegara, a challenge to National Anti-Corruption Plan 2019-2023 and obstacle to the national mission to transform Malaysia from a global kleptocracy into a leading nation of integrity
