Khairy should explain why after two weeks, Malaysia is still world’s Top 7th in daily new Covid-19 cases and world’s Top Three in daily Covid-19 deaths, and when Malaysia will get out of the World’s Top 20 in both categories
The new Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin should explain why after two weeks in office, Malaysia is still world’s No. 7 in daily new Covid-19 cases and the world’s Top 3rd nation in daily Covid-19 deaths, and when Malaysia will get out of the world’s Top 20 nations in both categories.
Yesterday, Malaysia recorded 15,669 new Covid-19 cases, ranking as the world’s Top 7th in daily new Covid-19 cases, after United States (117,433 cases), Turkey (27,802 cases), India (27,4290), UK (26,628), Iran (22,329), Philippines (18,056). Read the rest of this entry »
Lets co-operate to end the longest Covid-19 wave in the world causing two million Covid-19 cases and some 22,000 Covid-19 deaths in Malaysia instead of spending the next 10 to 18 month on political intrigues, plots and counterplots, though any new 10th Prime Minister in such circumstances will not be Anwar Ibrahim
Pakatan Harapan has signed a Memorandum of Undertstanding on Transformation and Political Stability with the ninth Prime Minister, Ismail Sabri.
Lets co-operate to end the longest Covid-19 wave in the world causing two million Covid-19 cases and some 22,000 Covid-19 deaths in Malaysia instead of spending the next 10 to 18 months on political intrigues, plots and counterplots though any new 10th Prime Minister in such circumstances will not be Anwar Ibrahim. The 21-month Covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia is equivalent to seven “911 tragedies” in the United States in human lives lost – when will the pandemic in Malaysia end?
America is marking the 20th anniversary of the terrible “911” Tragedy.
For Malaysia, the 21-month Covid-19 pandemic is equivalent to seven “911” tragedies in the United States in human lives lost – and Malaysians have a right to ask: When will the Covid-19 pandemic in Malaysia end? Read the rest of this entry »
Malaysia’s Sept. 11 tragedy – we have beaten USA not only in “daily Covid-19 cases per million population” but also in “daily Covid-19 deaths per million population”
Yesterday, America marked the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11 tragedy – but unnoticed, Malaysia was having its own Sept. 11 tragedy yesterday.
This was Malaysia catastrophic handling of the 21-month war against the Covid-19 pandemic to the extent that yesterday, we beat the USA not only in “daily Covid-19 cases per million population”, we also beat USA in “daily Covid-19 deaths per million population”. Read the rest of this entry »
With a shocking 592 Covid-19 deaths yesterday, Malaysia is now in a worse stage than the United States in its worst period during the Covid-19 pandemic when it registered a peak of 4,489 Covid-19 daily deaths in the last week of the Trump presidency on January 12, 2021
Now I can understand the long delay in posting yesterday’s Covid-19 data on the Worldometer website, which would give among other things, the day’s latest Covid-19 death figures by about 7 pm daily but it was not available yesterday even after some three hours later.
I woke up this morning, like all Malaysians, to utter shock to find that the daily Covid-19 death figure for Malaysia yesterday was an unbelievable figure of 592 deaths, which placed Malaysia as the world’s Top No. 4th country in daily Covid-19 deaths yesterday – after Russia (796 Covid-19 deaths), Mexico (699 deaths) and Brazil (635), beating United States, India and United Kingdom, the world’s top three countries with the most cumulative total of Covid-19 cases. Premature for Khairy to talk about Covid-19 becoming endemic in October when Covid-19 death rates are still high
It is premature for the new Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, to talk about Covid-19 becoming endemic in Malaysia at the end of October when Covid-19 death rates are still high despite a high vaccination rate.
While Malaysia should move away from the “Zero Covid” policy to ”Live with Covid” policy, we must strike a proper balancing act to ensure that while there is not a total end to Covid-19, there is also a resumption of normal, pre-pandemic economic and social life. Read the rest of this entry »
Is a historic breakthrough of a confidence-supply-reform agreement between the government and opposition in Parliament for the nation to single-mindedly focus on winning the war against the Covid-19 pandemic until the next general election an impossible goal?
Posted by Kit in COVID-19, Muhyiddin Yassin, nation building on Friday, 10 September 2021
Former Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Yassin said that 2022 is the year of recovery for Malaysia.
This is like many of his statements and pronouncements when he was the eighth Prime Minister which had remained empty statements which had marked his disastrous premiership.
Take his 2021 New Year Message on Dec. 31, 2020 on five priorities for an integrated Covid recovery. Read the rest of this entry »
Health Ministry’s new Covid-19 website most welcome but Khairy has still to honour his undertaking to give more details about the high Brought-in-Dead (BID) Covid-19 deaths
The Heath Ministry’s new Covid-19 website is most welcome but the Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin had still to honour his undertaking in Kota Kinabalu on Monday to give more details about the high Brought-in-Dead (BID) Covid-19 deaths.
Khairy had said in Kota Kinabalu on Monday that the high number of Covid-19 deaths reported daily did not reflect the actual number of fresh deaths that occur within 24 hours, as the numbers were sometimes piled up over several days as the authorities need time to confirm the cause of death, especially in places like the Klang Valley. Malaysia set new records in daily new Covid-19 cases and Covid-19 deaths and Khairy disappoints Malaysians as he failed to keep to his word to announce more details of high Covid-19 deaths and high BID Covid-19 deaths
Yesterday, Malaysia set two new records breaking the 1.9 million mark for cumulative total of Covid-19 cases with 1,900,467 cases and breaking the 19,000-mark for Covid-19 deaths with a total of 19,163 deaths.
My worst fears will come true – when we celebrate our 58th Malaysia Day in a week’s time on Sept. 16, we would have passed the two million mark for cumulative total of Covid-19 cases as well as passed the 20,000-mark for total Covid-19 deaths. Read the rest of this entry »
Call on Khairy to direct the hospitalisation of Category 3 Covid-19 patients and those with comorbidities like obesity, hypertension, diabetes, stroke and cancers as well as the urgent construction of more field hospitals by the armed services
The new Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin should heed the SOS calls of the Penang General Hospital surgeons who want clear plans for the growing Covid-19 caseload, as reported by Malay Mail online (MMO).
MMO reported that Covid-19 cases that are growing at over 1,000 daily meant wards in the Penang General Hospital (GH) are at almost full capacity, prompting surgeons to seek direct guidelines for dealing with the spillover. Read the rest of this entry »
How many corpses are in the hospitals which are not recorded by Ministry of Health Covid-19 data because awaiting Covid-19 tests?
The new Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, said in Kota Kinabalu yesterday that he would get new data on the high Covid-19 deaths, including the high
Brought-in-Dead (BID) Covid-19 deaths, when he made further announcements and explanations on the matter tomorrow.
Khairy should explain how many corpses are in the hospitals, giving state-by-state figures, which are not recorded in the Ministry of Health data on Covid-19 because they are awaiting Covid-19 tests. Read the rest of this entry »

Warning bells should be sounding that we are on the wrong track in the war against Covid-19 pandemic as a week after the new government, we are not only having more daily new Covid-19 cases than Indonesia, we are having more daily Covid-19 deaths than India
Warning signals should be sounding that we are on the wrong track in the war against Covid-19 pandemic as a week after the new government, as we are not only having more daily new Covid-19 cases than Indonesia, we are having more daily Covid-19 deaths than India.
Indonesia has more than eight times the population of Malaysia, yet for nineteen consecutive days, Malaysia is having more daily Covid-19 cases than Malaysia. Yesterday, we had 20,396 Covid-19 cases and Indonesia has 5,403 cases – about a quarter of that of Malaysia.

The Covid-19 pandemic statistics in the first week of the Sabri Ismail Cabinet are still grim and bleak
The Covid-19 pandemic statistics in the first week of the Sabri Ismail Cabinet are still grim and bleak.
Yesterday, there were 362 Covid-19 deaths, the second highest since the 393 Covid-19 deaths reported on 26th August and we set a new record of Brought-in-Dead (BID) cases with 104 BID Covid-19 deaths yesterday. Read the rest of this entry »
Four reasons why Khairy should not be complacent about ability to turn the tide of defeat in the 20-month war against Covid-19 pandemic and ending the world’s longest Covid-19 wave since last September
There are at least four reasons why the new Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin should not be complacent about the ability to turn the tide of defeat in the 20-month war against the Covid-19 pandemic and ending what is probably the world’s longest Covid wave since last September.
I want Khairy to succeed just as all Malaysians want to see Malaysia win the war against the Covid-19 pandemic and live down our infamy for the past year as one of the worst-performing nations in the war against the Covid-19 pandemic with the unacceptable high number of Covid-19 cases and deaths.

Can Khairy explain why for 16 consecutive days, Indonesia has reduced its daily new Covid-19 cases to less than that of Malaysia — to even less than half like yesterday’s 8,955 cases to Malaysia’s 20,988 cases?

Can the new Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, explain why for 16 consecutive days, Indonesia has reduced its daily new Covid-19 cases to less than that of Malaysia — to even less than half like yesterday’s 8,955 cases to Malaysia’s 20,988 cases?
This is not fault-finding but to find ways to improve our handling of the Covid-19 pandemic so as to win the war against it instead of being one of the worst-performing nations in the world in the Covid-19 pandemic in the past year.
Khairy has to address the problem of escalating daily new cases and record-high deaths in the midst of increasing vaccination rates
(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)
Khairy Jamaluddin, has started on the right note as the new Health Minister, promising to be transparent and to provide more detailed Covid-19 data to the public while addressing several pressing problems and initiatives to intensify the Covid-19 operations by allocating more vaccines, manpower and medical equipment to five states – Sabah, Johor, Kedah, Penang, and Kelantan – which are recording a rapid rise in daily Covid-19 cases.
However, there is one urgent problem which Khairy has omitted in his maiden media conference as Health Minister – the escalating daily new Covid-19 cases and record-high deaths in the midst of increasing vaccination rates. Read the rest of this entry »
Where is the 100-day plan to ensure that the 65th National Day on August 31, 2022 Malaysia will not be under the cloud of Covid-19 pandemic?
(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)
In his maiden National Day address, the ninth Prime Minister, Ismail Sabri said he hoped the National Day celebrations this year will be the last under the cloud of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Two question arises: Firstly, where is the 100-day plan to ensure that the 65th National Day on August 31, 2022 will not be under the cloud of Covid-19 pandemic. Read the rest of this entry »
Khairy should do what Indonesia has done to reduce the daily new Covid-19 cases from the peak of 56,757 cases on 15th July to low four-digit of 5,436 cases yesterday
I will be more modest in my expectations and not as ambitious as the new Prime Minister, Ismail Sabri, who said in his maiden National Day address last night that he hoped that the celebrations this year will be the last under the cloud of Covid-19 pandemic.
I do not expect Covid-19 pandemic to disappear next National Day in 12 months’ time but I do expect Malaysia to turn the tide of defeat in the war against the Covid-19 pandemic and end probably the longest year-long Covid-19 wave in the world which started last September during the Sabah state general election and to gain control of the Covid-19 pandemic situation. With the Sabri Ismail Cabinet sworn in, can the new Health Minister Khairy explain why despite the full national vaccination rate reaching 44.5 per cent of the population, Malaysia is still having an upsurge of daily new Covid-19 cases and deaths
(Tatal ke bawah untuk kenyataan versi BM)
The death of former Sabah Governor and Chief Minister, Sakaran Dandai, former Sabah Deputy Chief Minister and Bersatu Supreme Council member Lajim Ukin, former Chief Secretary, Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid and Pakatan Harapan Youth chief, Shazni Munir Mohd Ithnin and the inability of a Deputy Minister to be sworn in by the Yang di Pertuan Agong today underlined the importance of a single-minded purpose of the new Cabinet and the Malaysian people to win the war against the
Covid-19 pandemic and end the high rate of loss of lives and destruction of livelihoods and the Malaysian economy.
With the Sabri Ismail Cabinet sworn in, can the new Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin explain why despite the full national vaccination rate reaching 44.5 per cent of the population, Malaysia is still having an upsurge of daily new Covid-19 cases and deaths as to be ranked No. 6 in the world for daily new Covid-19 cases and ranked as the world’s No. 7 for daily new Covid-19 deaths yesterday?
