Was King Sing speaking on behalf of Health Minister when he attacked the Health DG in Parliament?

I was intrigued by the unparliamentary conduct of the Bintulu MP Tiong King Sing when he attacked the Health director-general Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah in Parliament today.

Tiong accused Noor Hisham for being “afraid to die” for not being in Sabah to monitor the Covid-19 situation.

Did Tiong prove he is “not afraid to die” by going over from Bintulu to Sabah in the Sabah state general election? Read the rest of this entry »

Johor MB commended for asking that CMCO should be imposed in red zones only

I commend the Johor Menteri Besar Hasni Mohammad for proposing that the conditional movement control order (MCO) be enforced only in red zone areas or districts with a high number of Covid-19 cases and not the entire state.

He said the recommendation, for the consideration of the federal government, was made through the State Security Special Committee (JKKN) meeting.

I fully agree with Hasni that this is very important, so that the implementation of the CMCO does not affect the economic sector and daily life in areas with a low number of cases. Read the rest of this entry »

Najib has soiled and stained Parliament for 90 minutes when he spoke as BNBBC Chairman on the 2021 Budget yesterday without giving an accounting of the 1MDB scandal

Former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak soiled and stained Parliament for 90 minutes when he spoke as Barisan Nasional Backbenchers’ Club Chairman on the 2021 Budget yesterday.

In which Parliament of the world would a person who had been convicted on corruption, money-laundering and abuse of power be allowed to speak as a leader of Members of Parliament except in Malaysia?

Have Malaysians forgotten that Najib is infamous world-wide as the person responsible for the 1MDB financial scandal, and who was convicted by a Malaysian court on July 28 on several charges related to the 1MDB scandal concerning corruption, money-laundering and abuse of power and sentenced to 12 years’ jail and RM210 million?
