Najib’s 1Malaysia policy in past three years has borne bitter and even poisonous fruits worsening racial polarization and producing more heinous lies like the recent May 13 falsehoods to undermine national unity

It has been said that a tree is known by its fruit and a man by his deeds.

With the approaching 55th National Day/49th Malaysia Day celebrations, the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak should ponder why his 1Malaysia policy in the past three years, instead of creating a more united Malaysian nation, has borne bitter and even poisonous fruits worsening racial polarization and producing more heinous lies like the many May 13 falsehoods purveyed recently to undermine national unity.

None other than former Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad has said only in June that the next general election will centre on race as “Malaysia has become more racial than ever”!

As part of his 1Malaysia programme, Najib has raised an army of some 10,000 Umno/BN cybertroopers through a nation-wide series of 1Malaysia Social Media Conventions, not to spread the 1Malaysia message to be a Malaysian first and race, religion, region and socio-economic grouping second but to put into practice the Biro Tatanegara (BTN) and Utusan Malaysia credo to “spin” lies and even blatant lies as fact and truth.

We are beginning to see the dire results of the raising of Najib’s army of 10,000 Umno/BN cybertroopers – including the bitter and poisonous fruits inciting racial distrust and undermining national unity revolving around the government-funded film “Tanda Putra” on the May 13 riots in 1969, with these cybertroopers disseminating the wildest, baseless, reckless, irresponsible, despicable and defamatory allegations that I had provoked the May 13 riots in 1969 in the street processions, that I had killed Malays and even urinated at the flagpole of the Selangor Mentri Besar’s residence when I was never in Kuala Lumpur on May 11, 12 and 13, 1969.

Other wild, baseless and most irresponsible allegations which had been “spun” by the 1Malaysia Social Media included allegations that DAP Secretary-General and Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng had also provoked the May 13 riots in his capacity as DAP Youth leader when he was in fact only eight years old.

The late P. Patto, former DAP Deputy Secretary-General and Parliamentarian, was also blamed for provoking the May 13 riots in 1969 when Patto was never in Kuala Lumpur in 1969 as he only first embarked on his political career in 1973 when he gave up his secure job as a government school teacher and accepted my offer to become my political secretary.

With the obstinate Cabinet refusal to have a new 55th National Day/49th Malaysia Day theme, logo and theme song which can be inclusive and unite rather than divide Malaysians – which is the position today when the National Day/Malaysia Day theme is hijacked by UMNO/BN – Malaysians are entitled to ask the Prime Minister why he is allowing his 1Malaysia policy to bear the bitter and even poisonous fruits worsening racial polarization and undermining national unity!

Forty-three years after the May 13 tragedy in 1969, the time has come to bring it to a closure – not to use the May 13 riots to scare or intimidate any community but as a object lesson on the paramount importance for all Malaysians, regardless of race, religion, region, class, age or gender to unite as Malaysians for a common cause for change and betterment for all Malaysians, whether we are BN or PR.

I have stated publicly that DAP and Pakatan Rakyat are prepared to co-operate and work closely with UMNO and Barisan Nasional to ensure that there will be no repeat of May 13 in the next general election.

In fact, how could therer be a repeat of the May 13 tragedy if both political coalitions – Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat – sincerely pledge to work together in the national interest to prevent any such recurrence?

The Pakatan Rakyat comprising PKR, PAS and DAP are committed to this cause and objective to ensure that there cannot and will not be another May 13 tragedy in Malaysia. Are UMNO and the Barisan Nasional similarly committed to this common cause?

Merdeka 2012 is in dire, dire danger
Of being hijacked by the ‘great pretender’.
The people must clearly and seriously ponder
Will they let him tear the nation asunder?

The ‘Reformer’ and his merry geng of sycophants
They all go about with their dastardly scams.
But the people are now definitely much wiser,
They will stop this band of rogue elephants.

Ah Jib Gor fancies himself as Superman,
Why, he even wears his Pampers up in front.
Performance Now ! People First! they cry,
Alas the people know they are merely con-men!

Their new scam they name as ‘Janji ditepati’,
Which they say everyone must ‘hormati’.
But as you and I and all clearly know
They are all merely selling kosong capati.

To the Indians big brother comes acalling
‘Nambikei’ he desperately says to them all.
‘Please trust me’ he begs and pleads of them,
‘Without you I will surely fall’.

To the golf course he now turns to,
    Clearly with much desperation.
‘I will partner with the great Tiger’, he blogs,
But we all know he can only play flogs.

The bankers in the Land Below the Wind,
They are restless and all up in arms.
They all want to uplift their ‘fixed deposits’
Najib’s ventures are definitely in the way of harm.

His hair is white and almost gone,
His face wrinkled beyond his years.
Ah Jib Gor and geng needs to be retired,
The ‘sell-by’ date has long, long been expired.

The country has reached very dire straits,
Caused by years of UMNO/BN mumbo-jumbo.
It urgently needs rejuvenation and ‘aspirasi’,
Coupled with dignity, pride and true democracy.

The in-coming PR government must tell the electorate what it will do, once-and-for-all, to correct all the existing shortcomings in every sphere (which there are many), so that all the ‘ghosts’ can be exorcised and there is closure. The people can then all move on as one.

It is not going to be easy but we need finality and closure. Let the country and its people be healed !!

Najib is a proven liar….flip flopper….tongue twister..etc etc etc and now his personalty is spread throughout his party which means…the UMNO b top rank politicians are all in dire straits.
They are fooling young Malaysians with blatant lies and deceits.
Under Najib..fooling voters has reach a height never seen before.
It’s that to succeed for 13th GE win ….or the Emergency Rule formula will take off with ideas that dictators are good at.
Bottom line…can young Malaysians be easily fooled.
They should do researches on May 13th incidents…and not relying and keep believing UMNO b never lie…never steal…never done anything wrong and Najib is telling all…give him a chance..lets move forward and forget the past.
It’s telling all young Malaysians to forget the hundreds of billions stolen and the few murders.
Najib is REPAYING back by the millions every month.
Can he bring back the dead?

All the time that he’s spewing 1 This and 1 That, Unity and Harmony etc, all the time he was doing the exact opposite.
That’s why it’s imperative to wipe them out in GE13!
If not, Malaysia and Malaysians are finished!

“Divide and rule” at the expense of racial cohesion has been Umno’s favorite strategy to hold on to federal power. The country is doomed with such power-centric government.

Yes, Najib’s administration is simply another level of hypocrisy – say one thing but in reality the policy is the same.

But to be fair, he did not start it, he just changed the cover of what was started by his own father..The NOC report of May 13, 1969 of which his father wrote ‘important matters must no longer be swept under the carpet and that the facts of May 13 should be made known to the public’ and THEN implemented the Constitutional Amendment of 1971 that is contrary to his own words, which started what has been decades of hypocritical rule of UMNO/BN led by Mahathirism which has ultimately today result in a full-screen version of that that initial hypocrisy
