Najib should set a good example of clean and honest politics instead of being the chief exponent of politics of fear, race and lies as Malays will continue to exercise political power in Malaysia whether UMNO is defeated in 14GE or not
The Prime Minister and UMNO President, Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s fall-back to the politics of race, fear and lies in Lipis yesterday is an indication of his growing desperation that UMNO will be ousted from Putrajaya by a Malay tsunami in the 14GE with the election of a new Pakatan Harapan Federal Government with Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad as the seventh Prime Minister and Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the Deputy Prime Minister – with Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the eighth Prime Minister of Malaysia.
In Lipis yesterday, Najib claimed that under the Pakatan Harapan, “absolute power rests in the hands of DAP”, portraying the 14th General Election as a fight between UMNO-led Barisan Nasional and DAP-led Pakatan Harapan.
Najib knows in his heart of hearts that what he said that “absolute power rests in the hands of DAP” or that Pakatan Harapan is “DAP-led” are not true, and that Pakatan Harapan operates on the principle of genuine consensus of the four component parties unlike Barisan Nasional where, to borrow the language of Tan Sri Shahrir Samad, what UMNO wants UMNO gets and what UMNO wants UMNO takes. List of UMNO/BN slander will be as thick as Encyclopaedia Brittanica and challenge to a Najib-Kit Siang public encounter where each could cite 5 – 10 lies, fake news and false information over the past five years the other must be held personally responsible

The Prime Minister and UMNO President Datuk Seri Najib said that today that if he were to list down the slander from the opposition since the last general election, it would be as thick as the Kamus Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka.
In a blog posting this morning, the BN chairperson noted how he and his family often fall victim to the opposition’s slander.
I have the greatest sympathy for Najib when he and his family fell victim to slander, but how could he be certain that Opposition leaders were responsible for them?
I myself have fallen victim to slander but can I hold him personally responsible?
My response to Najib blog is that if I am to list down the slander from UMNO/Barisan Nasional quarters since the last general election, it would be as thick as Encyclopaedia Brittanica, putting the Kamus Dewan to shame. Read the rest of this entry »
Najib may have the world’s most expensive strategists and propagandists but money cannot buy wisdom

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s poetic swipe at Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad illustrates that Najib have not learnt the lesson that he may have the world’s most expensive strategists and propagandists, but money cannot buy wisdom.
In a poem dedicated to his predecessor Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Najib took a poetic swipe at his nemesis Tun Mahathir Mohamad and the Selangor Pakatan Harapan state government, while praising the loyalty of Tun Abdullah.
This is the latest example of Najib continuing to receive bad advice from his highly-paid strategists and propagandists.
The come-back had been swift and lethal, with UMNO veteran and former Minister Datuk Seri Zainuddin Maidin reminding Najib that he had betrayed Abdullah or he would not be the sixth Prime Minister of Malaysia. Read the rest of this entry »
Najib is showing signs of panic over likely outcome of the 14th GE
Posted by Kit in Election, Elections, Najib Razak, UMNO on Monday, 23 April 2018
I am surprised that the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak is showing signs of panic over the likely outcome in the 14th General Election on May 9.
I think he is rattled by the unexpected fall-outs over UMNO becoming an illegal political party, as all informed Malaysians cannot accept the contention that the Registrar of Societies have the power to extend for another 12 months until April 19, 2019 for UMNO Supreme Council elections to be held.
As veteran UMNO leader, Tan Sri Rais Yatim, had said, the Registrar of Societies is not the ultimate authority to determine or usurp the power of Umno’s constitution.
Rais has rightly asked: “Can the RoS do away with a party’s constitution and give rights that are not in the constitution?”
There is no good lawyer in the country who will contend that the RoS has powers to give another 12-month extension after April 2019, as clearly any such extension by the RoS is unlawful, unconstitutional and invalid. Read the rest of this entry »
The truth of 1MDB scandal is that Najib is trying to create the greatest conundrum in the world by hiding the truth about the 1MDB scandal from Malaysians and the world

The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak slammed DAP for dropping Dr. Tan Seng Giaw simply for speaking the truth on 1MDB.
Two questions come to mind: firstly, how does Najib know that the reason why Seng Giaw is not re-contesting in Kepong is because of 1MDB?
Secondly, it is very rich for Najib to talk about the “truth” of 1MDB, when he is trying to create the greatest conundrum in Malaysia and the world by hiding the truth from Malaysians and the world about the truth of the 1MDB scandal. Read the rest of this entry »
Liow Tiong Lai must explain whether it is official MCA campaign strategy to spread the claim that there is nothing wrong with Najib’s 2.6 billion donation and the 1MDB scandal as Najib had given back the RM2.6 billion to Malaysians
Posted by Kit in Corruption, Elections, Financial Scandals, MCA, Najib Razak on Wednesday, 18 April 2018
I am shocked to discover during my walkabout with the DAP candidate for Johor State Assembly seat, Tan Hong Pin that MCA propagandists are spreading the version that there is nothing wrong with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s RM2.6 billion donation in his personal banking accounts and the 1MDB scandal, especially as Najib had given back the RM2.6 billion to the people of Malaysia.
This is a monstrous multiple lie and falsehood, which is worse than the lie recently by the Barisan Nasional Strategic Communications Unit when responding to the FaceBook posting by former Cabinet Minister, Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz, asking the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) to clarify if it had known about caretaker prime minister Najib Razak’s infamous RM2.6 billion donation, and how the department had dealt with it at the time.
The Barisan Nasional strategic communications team, which is headed by the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datu Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan, said that that Najib had returned most, if not all, of the RM2.6 billion donation he received in 2013.
This is a double lie, for Najib had not returned most, and definitely not all, of the RM2.6 billion Donation to Saudi royalty he received in 2013. Read the rest of this entry »
As Chairman of Barisan Nasional, will Najib assume full responsibility for the fake news by the BN Strategic communications that he, Najib, had returned most, if not all, of the RM2.6 billion donation he received in 2013?

As Chairman of Barisan Nasional, will Datuk Najib Razak assume full responsibility for the fake news by the Barisan Nasional strategic communications team that he, Najib, had returned most, if not all, of the RM2.6 billion donation he received in 2013?
This false claim was made by the BN strategic communications team today in response to the FaceBook posting by former Cabinet Minister, Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz, asking the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) to clarify if it had known about caretaker prime minister Najib Razak’s infamous RM2.6 billion donation, and how the department had dealt with it at the time.

Reminder to Najib: “Unearthly silence” is no option with regard to Rafidah’s FaceBook posting about the 2007 Cabient paper on the privatisation of over 40,000 hectares of prime military land to a three-person company
Posted by Kit in Financial Scandals, Najib Razak on Wednesday, 11 April 2018
Rafidah is spot-on. It is not just her, but the 15 million voters and 31 million Malaysians who want to hear from the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, with regard to Rafidah’s FaceBook posting about the 2007 Cabinet paper about the privatisation of over 40,000 hectares of prime military land in the country to a three-person company.
The media conference by the Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, accusing Rafidah of telling three big lies on the Mindef land, studiously avoided the subject as to whether towards the end of 2007, Najib as the then Defence Minister, had presented a Cabinet paper to get approval for the privatisation of more than 40,000 hectres of Mindef land throughout the country to a company owned by three individuals – two men and one woman – and the propsoal involved a lease for four decades!
Hishammuddin’s media conference statement only whetted the apetite of Malaysians to know the truth about the proposed privatisation of more than 40,000 hectares of Mindef land throughout the country.
I fully agree with Rafidah that the Ministry of Defence has no locus standi to reply on behalf of Najijb, who must personally respond.
I wish to remind Najib what I said on Monday – that “unearthly silence” is no option for him, nor is getting others to reply for him, whether Hishammuddin or Mindef, to Rafidah’s FaceBook posting about the the 2007 Cabinet paper on the privatisation of over 40,000 hectares of prime military land to a three-person company.
Let Najib answer directly and specifically to Rafidah’s FaceBook posting or Malaysians can only conclude that what Rafidah revealed in her FaceBook represented the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!

“Unearthly silence” is no option for Najib with regard to Rafidah’s FaceBook posting about the privatisation of over 40,000 hectares of prime military land to a three-person company

The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, should know that “unearthly silence” is no option for him with regard to former Cabinet Minister and Wanita UMNO leader, Tan Sri Rafidah Azia’s FaceBook posting about the privatisation of over 40,000 hectares of prime military land in the country to a three-person company.
Rafidah said the proposal was made to the government in 2008 by Najib, who was then the Defence Minister, and was already approved and executed.
The privatisation was based on a lease of four decades and done without open tender.
She added that when the prime lands were revalued, the company stood to reap hefty profits.
Rafidah asked Najib several pertinent questions: the name of the company and the three individuals behind it; details of the privatisation exercise; whether several key ongoing projects such as Bandar Malaysia which is on the former Sungai Besi Air Force base; the Majidee camp relocation; the East Coast Rail Link; the KL-Singapore High-Speed Rail project; a large-scale commercial agriculture project and the sale of the Butterworth Air Force base involve those privatised military land.
Rafidah’s FaceBook query has led to three questions from Brigadier-General (Rtd) Mohamed Arshad Raji, president of Persatuan Patriot Kebangsaan (Patriot), who expressed shock of the 300,000 veterans, the current serving military personnel, and the Malaysian public in general at Rafidah’s revelations.
When will Najib answer?

Today is the ninth anniversary of Datuk Seri Najib Razak as Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Parliament is expected to be dissolved in three days’ time on Friday, April 6, 2018.
All patriotic Malaysians are given an opportunity in the 14th General Election which should be held in a month’s time to ensure that Najib will not be able to mark his 10th anniversary as Prime Minster of Malaysia on this day next year.

DAP will not support any disbandment of the Royal Malay Regiment and will ensure that under Pakatan Harapan Federal Government, Royal Malay Regiment will reach greatest heights as a premier defence force of the country and all Malaysians

The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak recently tried to fish for police and army votes when he peddled the fake news that if there is a change of government in Putrajaya, Malaysia’s police and troops may be out of jobs, and the Royal Malay Regiment may be disbanded as the Royal Malay Regiment “is not in line with the Malaysian Malaysia concept”.
He warned that the armed forces and the police may be trimmed in size as “the other side believes the civil service is too bloated”.
I advise Najib to tender a public apology for peddling such fake news to fish for police and army votes. Read the rest of this entry »
Malaysians must elect a Parliament in 14GE where the views and concerns of ordinary Malaysians must be heard and not where their views and even their MPs are regarded as non-existent and “transparent” like me in Parliament

I have the honour to announce that the DAP and Pakatan Harapan candidate for the Johore State Assembly seat of Tangkak will be our incumbent DAP Tangkak State Assemblyman, Ee Chin Li.

I regret that the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak is continuing his politics of fear and fake news to incite the Malays to fear change, particularly in the imminent 14th General Election, warning that if UMNO loses, the Malays will perish and that DAP will rise in dominance directing and manipulating not only Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah and Mohamad Sabu.
This is double fake news – firstly that Malays will perish if UMNO loses in the next general election; and secondly, that all the Malay leaders are stooges and puppets of DAP, including Mahathir, Muhyiddin, Anwar Ibrahim, Azizah and Mat Sabu.
Let me ask Najib – was DAP directing and manipulating the UMNO Government during the 22 years when Mahathir was the Prime Minister from 1981 to 2003, during which period was Najib was Pahang Mentri Besar from 1982 to 1986 and served in variouis portfolios as Minister of Youth, Education and Defence under Mahathir? Will Najib be the first to be charged under the Anti-Fake News Act 2018 for the fake news that he has been cleared by Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of any wrongdoing in the 1MDB scandal when it is passed by Parliament?
Posted by Kit in Fake News, Financial Scandals, Najib Razak on Tuesday, 27 March 2018
We have before Parliament a most monstrous and pernicious Anti-Fake News Bill, which undermines the Federal Constitutional guarantees on fundamental liberties in particular Article 10 on freedom of speech and expression, which will destroy the Malaysian Dream of all Malaysians down the generations that Malaysia will mature into a normal democracy.
On top of the epithet of a kleptocracy, Malaysia will be known worldwide as a democracy which had regressed into an autocracy, although retaining the external trappings of a parliamentary democracy.
It is no wonder that the Anti-Fake News Bill 2108 is unanimously regarded by all journalists worth their salt as the biggest ever threat to press freedom once it becomes law.
In fact, even former information minister Tan Sri Rais Yatim is shocked by the wide-ranging implications of the Anti-Fake News Bill, calling on the public to scrutinize it, which is clearly impossible if the Bill is to be rushed to become law before the 14th General Elections as one of the ultra-weapons against the Pakatan Harapan and civil society and to save the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s political life.
Rais has presciently warned of the wide implications of the Anti-Fake News Bill on the government, groups, NGOs and individuals, pointedly asking what would happen if “fake news” came from the government. Read the rest of this entry »
Challenge extended to all Cabinet Ministers and BN leaders to show where in the PAC Report on 1MDB is Najib absolved of any wrongdoing in the 1MDB scandal, described by US Attorney-General as “kleptocracy at its worst”?

Yesterday, I emailed the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak to ask him to fix an appointment this week for him to show me and DAP National Publicity Secretary and MP for PJ Utara, Tony Pua, where in the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Report on 1MDB he is absolved of any wrongdoing in the 1MDB scandal which had transformed Malaysia overnight into a global kleptocracy.
Najib’s claim that he had been cleared of any wrongdoing in the PAC report over 1MBD is false and baseless and is the most recent and worst example of the “fake news” concocted and peddled by the Prime Minister and his Cabinet Ministers in the country.
I hereby extend my challenge to all Cabinet Ministers and Barisan Nasional leaders to show where in the PAC Report on 1MDB is Najib absolved of any wrongdoing in the 1MDB scandal, specifically described by the United States Attorney-General Jeff Sessions as “kleptocracy at its worst”? Or did Najib make an honest mistake, and it was the Auditor-General’s Report on 1MDB (which has been barred from the public because of another one of the extraordinary directives of the Speaker, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia) which cleared him of any wrongdoing in the 1MDB scandal and not the PAC Report – and if so, I am prepared to accept such an “honest mistake” provided he shows me chapter and verse of such exoneration in the Auditor-General’s Report. I was totally flabbergasted by the baseless claim of the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, yesterday that he had been cleared of wrongdoing in the Parliamentary Accounts Committee (PAC) Report over 1MDB.
I believe that I one of the few MPs who had read the full PAC report on 1MDB, but I did not find any part which exonerated Najib from the 1MDB scandal.
Had I read the wrong PAC report?
I challenge the PAC Chairman, Datuk Hasan Ariffin or any PAC member to collaborate Najib’s claim, and if neither the PAC Chairman nor any Barisan Nasional MP on the PAC is prepared to do so, we can see the falsity of Najib’s claim, making it as the No. 1 Fake News in the country. Najib’s claim that he was cleared of wrongdoing in PAC report over 1MDB is the most blatant, greatest and worst fake news concocted by Malaysian Government

Is Malaysia reaching a stage where anyone who questions Najib about RM2.6 billion donation in his accounts or “wife of MO1” about the RM144 million pink diamond necklace gifted by Jho Low would be committed “crimes” liable to police arrest and lock-ups?

Malaysia has plunged to a new low in law enforcement with the arrest of Anak Pdeneroka Felda Kebangsaan (Anak) chairman and AMANAH Supreme Council member, Mazlan Aliman.
Earlier today, Mazlan said in a brief posting on Facebook he was arrested by police this morning at his home in Kulaijaya around 1.35am this morning.
Was it necesssary to effect midnight arrest of Pakatan Harapan leaders as if they were potential fugitives from justice who would abscond from the law and country if arrest warrants are issued against them during normal hours.
Let me assure the Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Fuzi Harun that Pakatan Harapan leaders are not like the 1MDB scandal mastermind, Jho Low, who had become an internatiional fugitive from justice and is even afraid to appear in Malaysia, which is supposed to be his homeland!
I believe I can speak on behalf of all Pakatan Harapan leaders that the police just have to contact and inform us that an arrest warrant had been issued for our arrest, and we would freely and peacefully surrender ourselves to the law, without any tantrum or obstruction.
