Najib is getting desperate about the UMNO/BN prospects for the 14GE in less than three weeks’ time
The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak must be getting desperate about the UMNO/BN prospects for the 14th General Elections or he would not be doing something which he knew was wrong and illegal.
The announcement of RM53.6 million worth of aid for 67,000 taxi drivers nation-wide yesterday is most improper and wrong – not something which a Prime Minister strict about good governance principles or a caretaker government should do.
If the Najib government is genuine about giving over RM50 million of assistance to the taxi drivers, why was it not done before the dissolution of Parliament last Saturday, but only now when the caretaker government should not be making any new grant or allocations until a new government is formed after the 14th General Election on May 9? PAS members and supporters in Selangor must decide whether to support Hadi and win at most one seat in Selangor State Assembly and no parliamentary seat or vote for Pakatan Harapan to end Malaysia’s shame as a global kleptocracy and restore cleanliness and justice in Malaysian public life
PAS members and supporters in Selangor must decide whether to support PAS President, Abdul Hadi Awang and win at most one seat in Selangor State Assembly and no parliamentary seat or vote for Pakatan Harapan to end Malaysia infamy, ignominy and iniquity as a global kleptocracy and restore cleanliness and justice in Malaysian public life.
Of the DAP’s 15 State Assembly seats and three parliamentary seats in Selangor before dissolution, PAS can play the spoiler’s role and theoretically threaten the the Bangi (formerly Serdang) pariamentary seat and three State Assembly seats of Sekinchan, Kuala Kubu Baru and Sungai Pelek.
Hadi has made PAS into the first Islamic party in the world to co-operate and support a kleptocratic regime, which replaced the international respect, admiration and esteem enjoyed by Malaysia for over half a century into one of world-wide scorn and humiliation as a global kleptocracy. Hang Tuah was right, Melayu takkan hilang di dunia – a Pakatan Harapan Federal Government will prove that it is more successful, efficient and capable of looking after the rights and interests of all Malaysians, whether Malays, Chinese, Indian, Kadazans or Ibans than under UMNO/BN government

When I left Malacca 32 years ago to contest in Penang, it was because we do not want to win only in Malacca, we want also to win in Penang, Perak, Selangor and now in Johor in our struggle to achieve the Malaysian Dream of Malaysia becoming an united and diverse world top-class nation.
When the DAP Central Executive Committee, together with national and state leaders, decided not to use the Rocket symbol in the 14th General Election, but to use instead the Pakatan Harapan common logo of the PkR symbol of the blue-eye, it was the DAP’s supreme sacrifice and strategy to ensure that the 14GE is not battle of individuals or even political parties, but a national patriotic movement to Save Malaysia from becoming a failed, rogue and kleptocratic state
We do not want just DAP to win, but all the parties in Pakatan Harapan – PKR, Amanah and Bersatu – to win and we want to send out the message to all Malaysians that the time has come for everyone of the 15 million registered voters to rise above self, race, religion, region and even political party to vote as one Malaysian people, an affirmation that we are Malaysians first and our race, religion, region or even political party, second. DAP decision not to use Rocket logo and instead to use Pakatan Harapan common logo of PKR’s blue eyes an affirmation that all Malaysians regardless of race, religion, region or political party must unite in 14GE to save Malaysia from a failed, rogue and kleptocratic state
It is a strange phenomenon indeed – the foes and critics of Rocket, and even DAP traitors, have become the greatest champions of the Rocket!
Suddenly, we have UMNO/BN leaders, propagandists and quinoa cybertroopers and their publications protesting against the decision of the DAP Central Executive Committee, backed by state and branch leaders at meetings convened in the past week, that the DAP had betrayed its political objectives and principles when deciding not to use the Rocket symbol in the 14th General Election but instead to use the Pakatan Harapan common logo, which is PKR’s blue-eyes symbol.
At one end of the spectrum, DAP is accused of having sold itself to Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, not forgetting another UMNO/BN cybertrooper allegation that I had been paid RM1 billion by Mahathir to allow PPBM to join Pakatan Harapan; while at the other end of spectrum, the DAP is being accused of using Mahathri to split the Malay votes.
MCA President, Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai alleged at the launch of the MCA’s 14GE Manifesto that DAP has betrayed the Malaysian Chinese electorate, and that “When Mahathir appears, the Rocket disappears”!
But this did not prevent UMNO leaders, like the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin, from advising PPBM members not to get “too excited” over the naming of Tun Mahathir as Pakatan Harapan’s Prime Minister-designate, on the ground if Pakatan Harapan do win the 14GE, the pact’s main choice for the prime minister would be Lim Kit Siang and not Mahathir. UMNO/BN want Malaysians to “lelong” away their rights and interests and those of future generations in the 14GE so that Malaysia can continue to be a global kleptocracy, with not only 1MDB scandal but also 2MDB, 3MDB and more 1MDB-like scandals galore making international headlines but not in Malaysia

The Putrajaya Jualan Sentuhan Rakyat programme yesterday, where the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin, accompanied by the Federal Territories Minister, Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor and even the Chief Secretary to the government, Tan Sri Ali Hamsa, dished out groceries with big discounts is most saddening but very symbolic.
It is a most symbolic characterization of what UMNO/BN want the 15 million Malaysian voters to do – to “lelong” away their rights and interests and those of future generations in the 14th General Election on May 9, 2018 so that Malaysia can continue to be a global kleptocracy, not only 1MDB scandal but also 2MDB, 3MDB and more 1MDB-line scandals galore making international headlines but not in Malaysia.
Malaysiakini gave a most colourful report of the Putrajaya Jualan Sentuhan Rakyat programme, as follows: Read the rest of this entry »
Is Mahathir stooge of Lim Kit Siang, or Lim Kit Siang stooge of Mahathir?
Is Mahathir stooge of Lim Kit Siang or Lim Kit Siang stooge of Mahathir?
This is a question which had been haunting and dividing the UMNO/BN leadership, and it is one reason why speeches and statements by UMNO/BN leaders lack credibility and authority, reduced to the level of garbage and fake news.
Last week, the UMNO propaganda apparatus tested the waters to revive a highly-funded and monstrous demonization campaign that Mahathir is only my stooge and that I would take over as Prime Minister if Pakatan Harapan wins the 14GE.
The role of firing the first salvo to revive such a dastardly demonization campaign was performed by the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin, who advised PPBM members not to get “too excited” over the naming of Tun Mahathir as Pakatan Harapan’s Prime Minister-designate, on the ground that if Pakatan Harapan do win the 14GE, the pact’s main choice for the prime minister would be Lim Kit Siang and not Mahathir. What do the Parliament Speaker, Election Commission Chairman and the MACC Chief Commissioner have in common?
Today, we can ask the question: What has the Parliament Speaker, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia, the Election Commssion Chairman Tan Sri Mohd Hashim Abdullah and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Tan Sri Dzulkiflif Ahmad have in common?
Answer: Their inability to justify their decisions and actions as illustrated by the conduct of the Election Commission Chairman at the media conference this afternoon.
After announcing the nomnation and polling dates for the 14th General Election, Mohd Hashim Abdulah refused to field questions from journalists and exited the media conference in double-quick time despite repeated shouts of “Tan Sri! Tan Sri!” to get his attention.
Mohd Hashim cannot explain the rationale why the Election Commission decided to affix a Wednesday for Polling Day, if it is mindful of the Constitutional provision to act in a manner which enables it to enjoy “public confidence” and the constitutional mandate to conduct free, fair and honest elections. Will there be six tsunamis in the 14th General Election to establish a new Pakatan Harapan Federal Government in Putrajaya to usher a new Malaysia restoring the Malaysian Dream of Malaysians down the decades?
We are heading into the most challenging General Election in the 61-year history of the nation – the 14th General Election.
One of the questions to be decided will be whether there will be six tsunamis in the 14th General Election to establish a new Pakatan Harapan Government in Putrajaya to restore the Malaysian Dream of all Malaysians down the decades?
There was a political tsunami in the urban areas in the last two general elections, which denied the UMNO/Barisan Nasional coalition its unbroken two-thirds parliamentary majority and in 2013, deprived Datuk Seri Najib Razak of majority popular support – but because of gerrymandering and unfair democratic practices, it was not enough to bring about the first peaceful and democratic change of Federal Government in Putrajaya. The 14GE is the last opportunity for Malaysians to tell the whole world that they do not want Malaysia to become a global kleptocracy
I want to announce that the DAP/Pakatan Harapan candidate for Sandakan Parliament will be the incumbent and Sabah DAP State Chairman Stephen Wong, while Calvin Chong will be the DAP/PH candidate for the Sabah state assembly seat of Elopura and Frankie Poong the DAP/PH candidate for Tanjung Papat state assembly seat.
This is a significant visit to me to Sandakan, marking the 40th anniversary of my first visit to Sandakan in 1978 – the year Sandakan created history in sending the first “Rocket” from Sabah to Parliament.
As the DAP International Secretary, Teo Nie Ching, mentioned just now, the Rocket symbol will not be seen in Peninsular Malaysia in the 14th General Election and would only be seen in Sabah and Sarawak, as we have made the critical decision to use the Pakatan Harapan common logo in the supreme effort to win the 14th General Election and establish the Pakatan Harapan Federal Government in Putrajaya. Let the RAHMAN prediction run its course in the 14GE, and may be it would be replaced by a second prediction of MAHATHIR for the next eight Prime Ministers of Malaysia
There is a famous saying about the first six Prime Ministers of Malaysia that it will fulfill the RAHMAN prediction.
So far this RAHMAN saying has worked, with Tunku Abdul Rahman as the first Prime Minister, followed by Tun Abdul Razak, Tun Hussein Onn, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Tun Abdullah Badawi and Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Let the RAHMAN prediction run its course in the 14GE, and may be it would be replaced by a second prediction of MAHATHIR for the next eight Prime Ministers of Malaysia. Read the rest of this entry »
Call on the leaders of the eight Barisan Nasional component parties in Sabah and Sarawak to requisition an emergency meeting of the BN Supreme Council to amend the Barisan Nasional Manifesto from “implementing the Malaysia Agreement 1963 based on consensus” to a straightforward undertaking to implement the MA1963
The Barisan Nasional Manifesto for the 2018 General Elections is the latest and biggest “fake news” to surface in Malaysia.
The theme of the Barisan Nasional manifesto “Bersama BN, Hebatkan Negaraku” is not only false and misleading, but one of greatest fake news in the country.
In reality, the hard truth is “Bersama BN, hancurlah Negaraku”.
The most fraudulent statement in the Barisan Nasional manifesto is the undertaking that after the 14GE, the Barisan Nasional will implement the Malaysia Agreement 1963 proposals “based on consensus”. Read the rest of this entry »
BN Manifesto wrong and misleading, as “Bersama BN” will not “Hebatkan Negaraku” but “Hancurkan Negaraku”
Firstly, I want to make two announcements with regard to the 14th General Election as both Parliament and the Sabah State Assembly have been dissolved
DAP Sabah will field two women candidates in the 14GE – Jannie Lasimbang who will be DAP candidate for Kapayan Sabah State Assembly seat and Noorita Sual who will be the DAP candidate for the parliamentary seat of Tenom.
Jannie, head of DAP Sabah Wanita and former Suhakam Commissioner, has brought international renown to Sabah and Malaysia, as she was president of the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact and co-ordinator of Partners of Community Organisation, Sabah.
Noorita, who was a DAP Sabah State Assembly candidate in the 13th General Election in 2013, is the first Murut woman lawyer in the country.
The 14th General Election is shaping up to be a titanic electoral battle in Malaysia. Read the rest of this entry »
Appeal to hardcore DAP members and supporters to have faith in DAP leaders as the decision to use Pakatan Harapan common logo is not to betray the DAP objectives but to achieve the Malaysian Dream
The decision to use the Pakatan Harapan common logo, and for the first time in 52 years not to use the Rocket symbol, is a very difficult and heart-wrenching, with some DAP leaders privately shedding tears.
Despite the announcement by the DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng three days ago, many hard-core DAP members and supporters still cannot accept it.
They still feel the pain and agony of not using the Rocket in the forthcoming general election.
I fully understand their pain and agony, for I myself still feel such pain and agony, as I had used the Rocket symbol in 11 general elections and one by-election in the past five decades. Read the rest of this entry »
Dr. Chen’s feeling of pain and agony over the DAP CEC decision to use the Pakatan Harapan common logo which is not the Rocket symbol is the feeling of all DAP leaders, members and supporters
DAP founder Chairman Dr. Chen Man Hin’s feeling of pain and agony over the DAP Central Executive Committee’s decision to use the Pakatan Harapan common logo which is not the Rocket symbol is the feeling of all DAP leaders, members and supporters.
I had consulted Dr. Chen on the matter in a telephone conversation with him on Wednesday morning.
As I said at the DAP kopitiam ceramah at Pengkalan Rinting in Johor Baru earlier today when announcing the DAP/Pakatan Harapan Johore State Assembly candidate for Perling, the DAP decision not to use the Rocket logo, which had appeared in the ballot papers for eleven general elections from 1969 to 2013, was not an easy one, but a most painful and heart-wrenching decision for all DAP leaders. DAP’s decision not to use Rocket logo but a Pakatan Harapan common logo not an easy but a most painful and heart-wrenching one
I want to announce the DAP/Pakatan Harapan candidate for the Johor State Assembly seat for Perling (new name for Pengkalan Rinting) will be the incumbent DAP State Assemblyman Cheo Yee How.
The DAP decision not to use the Rocket logo, which had appeared in the ballot papers for eleven general elections from 1969 to 2013, was not an easy one, but a most painful and heart-wrenching decision for all DAP leaders.
For some five decades, the Rocket symbol had been identified with the uphill struggle, with many ups and downs, trials and tribulations, for an united, just, democratic, progressive and prosperous Malaysia. Read the rest of this entry »
Will the Anti-Fake News Act 2018 end the deluge of fake news, lies and demonization from UMNO/BN propagandists that I am anti-Malay, received RM1 billion from Mahathir, dominate Pakatan Harapan, want to be Prime Minister, disband Malay Regiment and seeks to destroy Malaysia-China relations

Today is last sitting of the 13th Parliament which was elected on 5th May 2013, as Parliament is expected to be dissolved tomorrow to pave the way for the 14th General Election although there is speculation that the dissolution of Parliament will only take place next Wednesday.
Since last Wednesday, I have attended Parliament daily, but for the last six parliamentary sittings, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker could not see me, and I could not participate in the parliamentary debates nor my votes counted in parliamentary voting.
After being elected to Parliament for 10 terms spanning 45 years from 1969 to 2018 except for the 10th Parliament, I have become a parliamentary “ghost” since last Wednesday, when I was suspended for six months for the second time during the present Parliament for asking the very legitimate question as to where the Speaker, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia, derived powers to impose an embargo on the Election Commission’s Constituency Redelineation Report after it was tabled in the House on 22nd March 2018 – denying MPs the right to consult constituents and the Malaysian people on the Election Commission’s Report and to get public feedbacks before parliamentary debate on the Report. Call on all Malaysians of the Malaysian Diaspora all over the world to prepare to return on GE 14 Polling Day to cast their vote to Save Malaysia from a failed, rogue and kleptocratic state and for Malaysians to dare to dream again the Malaysian Dream of becoming of world top-class nation

A great event is happening on Friday, not in Malaysia, but 4,600 kilometres away in Seoul.
On Friday, the corruption verdict and sentencing of South Korea’s ousted ex-president Park Geun-hye will be televised live, in a case that could see her jailed for up to 30 years.
The 66-year-old daughter of a former dictator was impeached and arrested in March 2017 over a wide-ranging corruption scandal that exposed shady links between big business and politics, and prompted massive street protests.
The live broadcast is because of the high public interest – the first time a trial has been televised live in South Korea.
Can such a thing happen in Malaysia? Read the rest of this entry »
DAP hopes at least three new woman MPs from DAP would be elected in the 14GE – Hannah Yeoh, Bee Yin and Shu Qi
I have the honour to announce that the DAP/Pakatan Harapan candidate for the Johor State Assembly seat of Senai will be former NGO activist and DAP Kelapa Sawit Branch Deputy Secretary, Alan Tee Boon Tsong.
An artist active in Johor NGO Yellow Flame, established during the first Bersih movement, Tee joined the DAP in 2016.
The incumbent Assemblywoman for Senai, Wong Shu Qi, will be standing for a parliamentary seat for the 14th General Elections.
From what has been announced so far, DAP hopes at least three new woman Members of Parliament from DAP would be elected in the new Parliament – Hannah Yeoh, who is presently the Selangor State Assembly Speaker; Yeo Bee Yin, who has left the safe seat of Damansara in Selangor State Assembly to contest in the Bakri parliamentary seat in Johor and Wong Shu Qui. Fully endorse Anwar Ibrahim that two of the earliest decisions of the new Pakatan Harapan Malaysian Government will be making the Election Commission a truly independent body and repealing the Anti-Fake News law if it is passed next week

I have the honour to announce that the DAP and Pakatan Harapan candidate for the Rasah parliamentary seat in the 14th General Election will be the DAP Negri Sembilan State Secretary Cha Kee Chin and the candidate for the Negri Sembilan State Assembly seat for Seremban Jaya (formerly Senawang) will the incumbent State Assemblyman P. Gunasekaran.
The 14th General Election is a matter of days away, and everybody is expecting Parliament to be dissolved next week, either before or after the last parliamentary sitting on Thursday on April 5.
I fully endorse the announcement by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, whom the Pakatan Harapan has designated as the eighth Prime Minister of Malaysia, that two of the earliest decisions of the new Pakatan Harapan Malaysian Government after winning the 14th General Election and forming the new Malaysian Government with Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad as Prime Minister and Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as Deputy Prime Minister will be making the Election Commission a truly independent body and repealing the Anti-Fake News law even if it is passed in Parliament next week.
The Constituency Redelineation Report of the Election Commission, which came into effect in less than 24 hours after it was bulldozed through Parliament on Wednesday (when I became a parliamentary “ghost” after being suspended for six months from Parliament for asking from where the Speaker, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia, had the powers to embargo the Election Commission Report for public discussion and feedback after the Report was tabled in Parliament the previous week).
It was a monstrous work of constituency gerrymandering, going against the two fundamental principles of the Malaysian Constitution providing for an independent and non-partisan Election Commission and ensuring free and fair elections, which will give Malaysia a new international epithet apart from being a global kleptocracy – a democracy which has become a rogue state! Malaysians must elect a Parliament in 14GE where the views and concerns of ordinary Malaysians must be heard and not where their views and even their MPs are regarded as non-existent and “transparent” like me in Parliament
