Is Mahathir stooge of Lim Kit Siang, or Lim Kit Siang stooge of Mahathir?

Is Mahathir stooge of Lim Kit Siang or Lim Kit Siang stooge of Mahathir?

This is a question which had been haunting and dividing the UMNO/BN leadership, and it is one reason why speeches and statements by UMNO/BN leaders lack credibility and authority, reduced to the level of garbage and fake news.

Last week, the UMNO propaganda apparatus tested the waters to revive a highly-funded and monstrous demonization campaign that Mahathir is only my stooge and that I would take over as Prime Minister if Pakatan Harapan wins the 14GE.

The role of firing the first salvo to revive such a dastardly demonization campaign was performed by the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin, who advised PPBM members not to get “too excited” over the naming of Tun Mahathir as Pakatan Harapan’s Prime Minister-designate, on the ground that if Pakatan Harapan do win the 14GE, the pact’s main choice for the prime minister would be Lim Kit Siang and not Mahathir.

Hamzah said:

“They just want Dr Mahathir to be the prime minister candidate so that Dr Mahathir will attack Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

“Lim and PKR president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail do not believe in Dr Mahathir because they know if Dr Mahathir becomes the prime minister, he will make a U-Turn and put them all in jail again.

“They also know that Dr Mahathir’s mission is to see his son, Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) president Datuk Seri Mukhriz become the prime minister.”

Dare Hamzah deny that he had told such lies, false information and fake news?

In fact, in Langkawi where Mahathir might contest as a candidate, UMNO operatives are busy at work putting up a mushroom of provocative posters painting Mahathir as being subservient to DAP.

But MCA leaders led by the MCA President, Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai are on an opposite trajectory, accusing me of being a stooge of Mahathir.

Liow alleged at the launch of the MCA’s 14GE Manifesto that DAP has betrayed the Malaysian Chinese electorate, and that “When Mahathir appears, the Rocket disappears”!

That was quite a brave and brazen statement from the MCA President when in all the previous thirteen general elections in the country since 1959, all the MCA leaders and candidates had never used the MCA logo!

Is Liow confessing that the MCA had been betraying the Chinese community right from the beginning?

So is Mahathir stooge of Lim Kit Siang, or Lim Kit Siang stooge of Mahathir?

Or are UMNO and MCA leaders, propagandists and quinoa cybertroopers going into the 14GE with both allegations, although they contradict each other?

Would MCA leaders dare to requisition a Barisan Nasional Supreme Council meeting to straighten out such a supreme contradiction in the UMNO/BN attacks on DAP and Pakatan Harapan in the 14GE?

Of course not, just as I do not expect the leaders of the eight Barisan Nasional component parties in Sabah and Sarawak to have the guts and gumption to requisition an emergency meeting of the Barisan Nasional Supreme Council to amend the Barisan Nasional 14GE Manifesto from “implementing Malaysia Agreement 1963 based on consensus” to a straightforward undertaking to implement MA1963, although I made the suggestion in Kota Kinabalu on Sunday.

“To implement Malaysia Agreement 1963 based on consensus” is a betrayal of the rights and interests of Sabahans and Sarawakians for all it needs to halt any implementation of the MA1963 proposals is for one of the 13 BN parties to object and there would be no consensus.

Why should the MA1963 proposals be open and subject to renegotiations when they had been signed and sealed 55 years ago by our forefathers?

I first suggested in Kota Kinabalu on Sunday that if Pakatan Harapan wins the 14GE, the RAHMAN prediction on the first six Prime Ministers will be fulfilled and completed.

So far, the first six Prime Ministers of Malaysia had followed the RAHMAN prediction, keeping to its alphabetical order – with Tunku Abdul Rahman as the first Prime Minister, followed by Tun Abdul Razak, Tun Hussein Onn, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Tun Abdullah Badawi and Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

With the RAHMAN prediction running its course in the 14GE, the seventh and eighth Prime Ministers with the alphabets of M and A may start a new prediction for the new series of Prime Ministers of Malaysia.

I had light-heartedly suggested that the RAHMAN prediction may be replaced by MAHATHIR prediction as Pakatan Harapan has announced that if its win the 14GE, the seventh Prime Minister will be Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and the eighth Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

I have received a suggestion that the prediction on the second series of Prime Ministers should represent a place instead of a person, with the suggestion of MALAYSIA.

I am open-minded to the suggestion.

Whether the seventh to 14th Prime Ministers will following the alphabets MAHATHIR or MALAYSIA, let us leave it to the future.

The immediate task is to win the present uphill battle to ensure that Pakatan Harapan can overcome the impossible odds to form a new Malaysian Government in Putrajaya in the 14GE, with Mahathir as the seventh Prime Minister and Anwar as the eighth Prime Minister, and save Malaysia from hurtling towards the trajectory of a failed, rogue and kleptocratic state.

After 2 generations of being fed with an indoctrination based on fearing one’s very own shadow, the majority of the B40 is a difficult bunch to convince though with modern technology the propaganda of the controlled press is no longer that effective. It is up to Harapan to ensure that their candidates are indeed different. In fact, we could still witness weaknesses of the outgoing “Harapan” candidates who if the central leadership had done their homework should not be permitted to stand again! It looks like changing the mindset of the people will be a challenge but changing the mindset of the politicians is the REAL challenge of this nation.

These Barisan fellows are scared of the shadow a nonagenarian. The contrite old man wants to undo some of the bad things he did to the country but some people just don’t want to give him the chance to do that. After so many years of Merdeka, what has the Kapal and the Dacing done for Malaysia’s racial relations? The answer is that rather going forward, they have badly regressed in this matter. If you want change,

    Barisan Must Be Destroyed!
