PAS President Hadi Awang made the wild and preposterous allegation that the DAP was promoting Islamophobia but despite being repeatedly challenged, he has not been able for five months to offer an iota of evidence to substantiate his most serious allegation.

Following the declassification of the 1976 Double-Six Crash Report, the Cabinet should next declassify the reports of CEP and IRC

I welcome the Cabinet decision to declassify the full report of the federal investigation on the 1976 plane crash that killed 11 people, including the then Sabah chief minister Fuad Stephens, for there is simply no reason or justification to keep the report under the Official Secrets Act for 47 years.

It is pathetic to see the former Bersatu Information chief and MP for Tasek Gelugor, Wan Saiful Wan Jan scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to defend the indefensible to justify the absence of the top Perikatan Nasional (PN) leaders from the Prime Minister’s Question Time yesterday.

The Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil made a valid point when he criticised the top three PN leaders for their absence in Parliament during the PMQT yesterday.

The Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim, should be commended for his China trip for he had secured RM170 billion worth of investment commitments — the most for any Malaysian Prime Minister in a China visit.

These are for a total of 19 memoranda of understanding (MOU), sealed between businesses in Malaysia and China in various fields, especially in green technology and the digital economy.
