Will Najib, as Chairman of Barisan Nasional, assume full responsibility for the fake news on the 1MDB scandal by BN and 1MDB in the past few days and turn himself in to the police for having committed offences under the Anti-Fake News Act?

As Chairman of Barisan Nasional, will Datuk Najib Razak assume full responsibility for the fake news on the 1MDB scandal by Barisan Nasional and 1MDB in the past few days and turn himself in to the police for having committed offences under the Anti-Fake News Act, with the draconian penalties on conviction of a maximum of RM500,000 fine, six years jail or both.

For instance, the Barisan Nasional strategic communications team, which is headed by the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datu Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan, said that that Najib had returned most, if not all, of the RM2.6 billion donation he received in 2013.

This a double lie, for Najib had not returned most, and definitely not all, of the RM2.6 billion Donation to Saudi royalty he received in 2013.

The BN strategic communications team made this claim in response to the FaceBook posting by former Cabinet Minister, Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz, asking the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) to clarify if it had known about caretaker prime minister Najib Razak’s infamous RM2.6 billion donation, and how the department had dealt with it at the time.

In an open letter to IRB on her Facebook, Rafidah said she had once been asked about the alleged donation from the Arabs, and if the prime minister had ever been taxed on the amount that had been deposited into his private bank accounts.

She said: “I have no idea… My friends and I became very curious. We would like to ask, and can IRB please clarify and explain to the people at large, is the donation given to the prime minister, and transferred into his personal account, taxable?” Read the rest of this entry »

DAP Mersing organizing fund-raising dinner although DAP not contesting in Mersing parliamentary or Tenggaroh and Endau State Assembly seats testimony of DAP commitment to ensure all Pakatan Harapan candidates win in 14GE

Tonight’s fund-raising dinner by the Mersing DAP Branch is most unique and significant.

DAP is not contesting in Mersing parliamentary or the two constituent Tenggaroh and Endau State Assembly seats. PPBM will be contesting in Mersing parliamentary and Endau State Assembly seat while PKR is contesting in the Tenggaroh State Assembly seat.

Yet I am here tonight with the DAP’s candidate for Bakri, Yeo Bee Yin, to give full support for this dinner to urge the people of Mersing to solidly vote for the Bersatu candidates for Mersing parliamenentary seat and Endau State Assembly seat as well as PKR candidate for the Tenggaroh state assembly seat – testimony of DAP’s commitment to ensure the victory of all Pakatan Harapan candidates, whether PKR, Amanah, Bersatu or DAP, to win in the 14th General Election on May 9, 2018.

This was the DAP’s supreme commitment to a victory by all Pakatan Harapan candidates in both Parliamentary and state assembly seats, not only in Johore, but in every state in Peninsular Malaysia that was behind the DAP leadership’s difficult and agonizing decision to make the great sacrifice not to use the Rocket logo in the 14th General Election but to use the Pakatan Harapan common logo of PKR’s blue-eyes logo.

This is why although this is a DAP and Rocket dinner, there is no Rocket logo, but only the Pakatah Harapan common logo of the PKR’s blue-eyes symbol! This makes tonight’s dinner most historic in Malaysia – as the first of its kind in Malaysia for over half a century!

Let every Malaysian, organization and political party be prepared to make sacrifices for the supreme collective effort – first time in the nation’s 61-year history – to Save Malaysia from becoming a failed, rogue and kleptocratic state to become an united, democratic, progressive, prosperous top-class world nation.

Our message to all Malaysians tonight is to unite as one strong and solid Malaysian people in the 14th General Election on May 9, 2018 regardless of race, religion, region or even political party, including the 3.6 million UMNO members, the one million MCA members and another million PAS members, to unite in the 14th General Election to vote for Pakatan Harapan on May 9, 2018 to Save Malaysia.

Will Malaysians create history and change the national leadership on May 9, as the Filipinos did on May 9, 2016 and the South Koreans did on May 9, 2017

Will Malaysians create history and change the national leadership on May 9, 2018 as the Filipinos did on May 9, 2016 when they changed their President and the South Koreans did on May 9, 2017 when they also changed their President.

Will there be a change of Federal Government in Putrajaya and a new Johore State Government in Nusajaya on May 9, 2018?

The is the enormity of the historic decision the 15 million Malaysian voters will make on May 9, 2018, whether Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad will be elected as the seventh Prime Minister of Malaysia, with Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as Deputy Prime Minister, to be followed by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the eighth Prime Minister of Malaysia.

I am glad to come to Kampong Gajah in Paloh for the first time. I understand that this is a MCA fortress.

MCA does not have many fortresses left in Malaysia or it would not have been reduced to a 7/11 political party, winning only seven MPs and 11 State Assembly representatives in the last general election.

Why did this happen? The reasons were very simple – over the decades, the MCA has failed the Malaysian Chinese and the Malaysian nation, with the country today being scorned and mocked worldwide as a global kleptocracy.

In my first visit to Kampong Gajah, I should have come with the Rocket logo – but we have instead the Pakatan Harapan common logo of the PKR blue-eye.

The DAP decision not to use the Rocket symbol is not an easy one. I had used the Rocket logo for 11 general elections and one by-election since 1968.

But we have to overcome the personal pain and agony not to use the Rocket symbol so as to use the Pakatan Harapan common logo of PKR’s blue-eyes – a supreme sacrifice and strategy, a game changer, to affirm that the time has come for all Malaysians regardless of race, religion, region or even political party, including the 3.6 million UMNO members, the one million MCA members and another million PAS members, to unite in the 14th General Election on May 9, 2018 to Save Malaysia from a failed, rogue and kleptocratic state to become an united, democratic, progressive, prosperous top-class world nation.

As Chairman of Barisan Nasional, will Datuk Najib Razak assume full responsibility for the fake news by the Barisan Nasional strategic communications team that he, Najib, had returned most, if not all, of the RM2.6 billion donation he received in 2013?

Challenge to voters of Ledang to vote “1 Parliament and three DUN seats” for Pakatan Harapan as an example to all voters in Johor for 14GE – for PH to form Federal and Johore State Governments

I have a challenge to the voters of Ledang parliamentary constituency – to vote “1 Parliament and 3 DUN seats” for Pakatan Harapan as an example to all voters in Johore for the 14th General Election in less than three weeks’ time, to pave the way for Pakatan Harapan to form the Federal Government in Putrajaya and the Johore State Government in Nusajaya. Najib is getting desperate about the UMNO/BN prospects for the 14GE in less than three weeks’ time

The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak must be getting desperate about the UMNO/BN prospects for the 14th General Elections or he would not be doing something which he knew was wrong and illegal.

The announcement of RM53.6 million worth of aid for 67,000 taxi drivers nation-wide yesterday is most improper and wrong – not something which a Prime Minister strict about good governance principles or a caretaker government should do.

If the Najib government is genuine about giving over RM50 million of assistance to the taxi drivers, why was it not done before the dissolution of Parliament last Saturday, but only now when the caretaker government should not be making any new grant or allocations until a new government is formed after the 14th General Election on May 9? A Pakatan Harapan Federal Government will uphold the best Malaysia-China relations in the best interests of both countries and will not undermine the good ties between both countries

With the 14th General Election to be held on May 9, 2018 in less than three weeks’ time, lies, fake news and false propanganda have increased by leaps and bounds, fully justifying the warning of critics of the Anti-Fake News Act inside and outside the country that the new law would not be used to combat lies and fake news but was a new censorship to protect the UMNO/BN leaders from exposes of corruption like the 1MDB international money-laundering scandal.

One such lies, fake news and false propaganda is that a Pakatan Harapan Federal Government in Putrajaya will destroy Malaysia-China relations, when DAP had called for the diplomatic recognition of China in the sixties and the normalization of Malaysia-China ties in the seventies long before these events took place. PAS members and supporters in Selangor must decide whether to support Hadi and win at most one seat in Selangor State Assembly and no parliamentary seat or vote for Pakatan Harapan to end Malaysia’s shame as a global kleptocracy and restore cleanliness and justice in Malaysian public life

PAS members and supporters in Selangor must decide whether to support PAS President, Abdul Hadi Awang and win at most one seat in Selangor State Assembly and no parliamentary seat or vote for Pakatan Harapan to end Malaysia infamy, ignominy and iniquity as a global kleptocracy and restore cleanliness and justice in Malaysian public life.

Of the DAP’s 15 State Assembly seats and three parliamentary seats in Selangor before dissolution, PAS can play the spoiler’s role and theoretically threaten the the Bangi (formerly Serdang) pariamentary seat and three State Assembly seats of Sekinchan, Kuala Kubu Baru and Sungai Pelek.

Hadi has made PAS into the first Islamic party in the world to co-operate and support a kleptocratic regime, which replaced the international respect, admiration and esteem enjoyed by Malaysia for over half a century into one of world-wide scorn and humiliation as a global kleptocracy. Will the “turtle egg” UMNO Minister and Utusan Malaysia be arrested and charged under the Anti-Fake News Act for peddling the lies that Malay special rights and uniqueness of Islam would be eliminated in Malaysia if DAP and Pakatan Harapan win the 14GE?

The world’s first Anti-Fake News Act has come into force in Malaysia on Wednesday, after receiving the Royal Assent on April 9 and gazetted two days later.

Although the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, Datuk Seri Azalina Othman denied that enforcement of the Anti-Fake News was a strategy for the government to win the 14th General Election (GE14), arguing that it is a law to protect the people in general, the test of the pudding is in the eating.

In today’s UMNO daily, Utusan Malaysia, the “turtle egg” UMNO Minister disseminated the fake news that every vote for the DAP is akin to give power to the Pakatan Harapan (PH) pact to eliminate Malay special rights and the uniqueness of Islam.

These are lies and fake news because all Pakatan Harapan basic documents, including Pakatan Harapan 14th General Election Manifesto, had been most clear and specific in giving unconditional support to Article 153 on Malay special rights and Article 3 on Islam as the official religion of the Federation. Hang Tuah was right, Melayu takkan hilang di dunia – a Pakatan Harapan Federal Government will prove that it is more successful, efficient and capable of looking after the rights and interests of all Malaysians, whether Malays, Chinese, Indian, Kadazans or Ibans than under UMNO/BN government

When I left Malacca 32 years ago to contest in Penang, it was because we do not want to win only in Malacca, we want also to win in Penang, Perak, Selangor and now in Johor in our struggle to achieve the Malaysian Dream of Malaysia becoming an united and diverse world top-class nation.

When the DAP Central Executive Committee, together with national and state leaders, decided not to use the Rocket symbol in the 14th General Election, but to use instead the Pakatan Harapan common logo of the PkR symbol of the blue-eye, it was the DAP’s supreme sacrifice and strategy to ensure that the 14GE is not battle of individuals or even political parties, but a national patriotic movement to Save Malaysia from becoming a failed, rogue and kleptocratic state

We do not want just DAP to win, but all the parties in Pakatan Harapan – PKR, Amanah and Bersatu – to win and we want to send out the message to all Malaysians that the time has come for everyone of the 15 million registered voters to rise above self, race, religion, region and even political party to vote as one Malaysian people, an affirmation that we are Malaysians first and our race, religion, region or even political party, second. Will those who spread the lies and fake news that DAP is stooge of Mahathir or Mahathir is stooge of DAP be investigated, arrested and prosecuted under the Anti-Fake News Act?

It is the height of utter contempt for press freedom that the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak used the launch of the inaugural National Journalists Day in Kuala Lumpur yesterdy to announce that the Anti-Fake News Act had come into effect.

It is rubbing the noses of Malaysian journalists, particularly those who have opposed the Anti-Fake News Bill, revelling in their discomfiture and failure to defeat the Anti-Fake News Bill.

Press freedom groups in Malaysia, as well as global watchdogs, had decried the bill as Putrajaya’s move to crack down on freedom of the press and freedom of speech.

Among others, concerns were raised over a mandatory ‘take down’ order which could be enforced against any alleged perpetrator of fake news.

Yes, Najib has won, but at what further price of Malaysia’s international repute and esteem – as Malaysia will now be scorned and looked askance in the international community not only as a global kleptocracy but also as a rogue democracy. Read the rest of this entry »

DAP decision not to use Rocket logo and instead to use Pakatan Harapan common logo of PKR’s blue eyes an affirmation that all Malaysians regardless of race, religion, region or political party must unite in 14GE to save Malaysia from a failed, rogue and kleptocratic state

It is a strange phenomenon indeed – the foes and critics of Rocket, and even DAP traitors, have become the greatest champions of the Rocket!

Suddenly, we have UMNO/BN leaders, propagandists and quinoa cybertroopers and their publications protesting against the decision of the DAP Central Executive Committee, backed by state and branch leaders at meetings convened in the past week, that the DAP had betrayed its political objectives and principles when deciding not to use the Rocket symbol in the 14th General Election but instead to use the Pakatan Harapan common logo, which is PKR’s blue-eyes symbol.

At one end of the spectrum, DAP is accused of having sold itself to Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, not forgetting another UMNO/BN cybertrooper allegation that I had been paid RM1 billion by Mahathir to allow PPBM to join Pakatan Harapan; while at the other end of spectrum, the DAP is being accused of using Mahathri to split the Malay votes.

MCA President, Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai alleged at the launch of the MCA’s 14GE Manifesto that DAP has betrayed the Malaysian Chinese electorate, and that “When Mahathir appears, the Rocket disappears”!

But this did not prevent UMNO leaders, like the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin, from advising PPBM members not to get “too excited” over the naming of Tun Mahathir as Pakatan Harapan’s Prime Minister-designate, on the ground if Pakatan Harapan do win the 14GE, the pact’s main choice for the prime minister would be Lim Kit Siang and not Mahathir. UMNO/BN want Malaysians to “lelong” away their rights and interests and those of future generations in the 14GE so that Malaysia can continue to be a global kleptocracy, with not only 1MDB scandal but also 2MDB, 3MDB and more 1MDB-like scandals galore making international headlines but not in Malaysia

The Putrajaya Jualan Sentuhan Rakyat programme yesterday, where the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin, accompanied by the Federal Territories Minister, Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor and even the Chief Secretary to the government, Tan Sri Ali Hamsa, dished out groceries with big discounts is most saddening but very symbolic.

It is a most symbolic characterization of what UMNO/BN want the 15 million Malaysian voters to do – to “lelong” away their rights and interests and those of future generations in the 14th General Election on May 9, 2018 so that Malaysia can continue to be a global kleptocracy, not only 1MDB scandal but also 2MDB, 3MDB and more 1MDB-line scandals galore making international headlines but not in Malaysia.

Reminder to Najib: “Unearthly silence” is no option with regard to Rafidah’s FaceBook posting about the 2007 Cabient paper on the privatisation of over 40,000 hectares of prime military land to a three-person company

Rafidah is spot-on. It is not just her, but the 15 million voters and 31 million Malaysians who want to hear from the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, with regard to Rafidah’s FaceBook posting about the 2007 Cabinet paper about the privatisation of over 40,000 hectares of prime military land in the country to a three-person company.

The media conference by the Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein, accusing Rafidah of telling three big lies on the Mindef land, studiously avoided the subject as to whether towards the end of 2007, Najib as the then Defence Minister, had presented a Cabinet paper to get approval for the privatisation of more than 40,000 hectres of Mindef land throughout the country to a company owned by three individuals – two men and one woman – and the propsoal involved a lease for four decades!

Hishammuddin’s media conference statement only whetted the apetite of Malaysians to know the truth about the proposed privatisation of more than 40,000 hectares of Mindef land throughout the country.

I fully agree with Rafidah that the Ministry of Defence has no locus standi to reply on behalf of Najijb, who must personally respond.

I wish to remind Najib what I said on Monday – that “unearthly silence” is no option for him, nor is getting others to reply for him, whether Hishammuddin or Mindef, to Rafidah’s FaceBook posting about the the 2007 Cabinet paper on the privatisation of over 40,000 hectares of prime military land to a three-person company.

Let Najib answer directly and specifically to Rafidah’s FaceBook posting or Malaysians can only conclude that what Rafidah revealed in her FaceBook represented the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth!

Is Mahathir stooge of Lim Kit Siang, or Lim Kit Siang stooge of Mahathir?

Is Mahathir stooge of Lim Kit Siang or Lim Kit Siang stooge of Mahathir?

This is a question which had been haunting and dividing the UMNO/BN leadership, and it is one reason why speeches and statements by UMNO/BN leaders lack credibility and authority, reduced to the level of garbage and fake news.

Last week, the UMNO propaganda apparatus tested the waters to revive a highly-funded and monstrous demonization campaign that Mahathir is only my stooge and that I would take over as Prime Minister if Pakatan Harapan wins the 14GE.

The role of firing the first salvo to revive such a dastardly demonization campaign was performed by the Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Minister, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin, who advised PPBM members not to get “too excited” over the naming of Tun Mahathir as Pakatan Harapan’s Prime Minister-designate, on the ground that if Pakatan Harapan do win the 14GE, the pact’s main choice for the prime minister would be Lim Kit Siang and not Mahathir. What do the Parliament Speaker, Election Commission Chairman and the MACC Chief Commissioner have in common?

Today, we can ask the question: What has the Parliament Speaker, Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia, the Election Commssion Chairman Tan Sri Mohd Hashim Abdullah and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Tan Sri Dzulkiflif Ahmad have in common?

Answer: Their inability to justify their decisions and actions as illustrated by the conduct of the Election Commission Chairman at the media conference this afternoon.

After announcing the nomnation and polling dates for the 14th General Election, Mohd Hashim Abdulah refused to field questions from journalists and exited the media conference in double-quick time despite repeated shouts of “Tan Sri! Tan Sri!” to get his attention.

Mohd Hashim cannot explain the rationale why the Election Commission decided to affix a Wednesday for Polling Day, if it is mindful of the Constitutional provision to act in a manner which enables it to enjoy “public confidence” and the constitutional mandate to conduct free, fair and honest elections. Will there be six tsunamis in the 14th General Election to establish a new Pakatan Harapan Federal Government in Putrajaya to usher a new Malaysia restoring the Malaysian Dream of Malaysians down the decades?

We are heading into the most challenging General Election in the 61-year history of the nation – the 14th General Election.

One of the questions to be decided will be whether there will be six tsunamis in the 14th General Election to establish a new Pakatan Harapan Government in Putrajaya to restore the Malaysian Dream of all Malaysians down the decades?

There was a political tsunami in the urban areas in the last two general elections, which denied the UMNO/Barisan Nasional coalition its unbroken two-thirds parliamentary majority and in 2013, deprived Datuk Seri Najib Razak of majority popular support – but because of gerrymandering and unfair democratic practices, it was not enough to bring about the first peaceful and democratic change of Federal Government in Putrajaya. “Unearthly silence” is no option for Najib with regard to Rafidah’s FaceBook posting about the privatisation of over 40,000 hectares of prime military land to a three-person company

The Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, should know that “unearthly silence” is no option for him with regard to former Cabinet Minister and Wanita UMNO leader, Tan Sri Rafidah Azia’s FaceBook posting about the privatisation of over 40,000 hectares of prime military land in the country to a three-person company.

Rafidah said the proposal was made to the government in 2008 by Najib, who was then the Defence Minister, and was already approved and executed.

The privatisation was based on a lease of four decades and done without open tender.

She added that when the prime lands were revalued, the company stood to reap hefty profits.

Rafidah asked Najib several pertinent questions: the name of the company and the three individuals behind it; details of the privatisation exercise; whether several key ongoing projects such as Bandar Malaysia which is on the former Sungai Besi Air Force base; the Majidee camp relocation; the East Coast Rail Link; the KL-Singapore High-Speed Rail project; a large-scale commercial agriculture project and the sale of the Butterworth Air Force base involve those privatised military land.

Rafidah’s FaceBook query has led to three questions from Brigadier-General (Rtd) Mohamed Arshad Raji, president of Persatuan Patriot Kebangsaan (Patriot), who expressed shock of the 300,000 veterans, the current serving military personnel, and the Malaysian public in general at Rafidah’s revelations.

When will Najib answer?

The 14GE is the last opportunity for Malaysians to tell the whole world that they do not want Malaysia to become a global kleptocracy

I want to announce that the DAP/Pakatan Harapan candidate for Sandakan Parliament will be the incumbent and Sabah DAP State Chairman Stephen Wong, while Calvin Chong will be the DAP/PH candidate for the Sabah state assembly seat of Elopura and Frankie Poong the DAP/PH candidate for Tanjung Papat state assembly seat.

This is a significant visit to me to Sandakan, marking the 40th anniversary of my first visit to Sandakan in 1978 – the year Sandakan created history in sending the first “Rocket” from Sabah to Parliament.

As the DAP International Secretary, Teo Nie Ching, mentioned just now, the Rocket symbol will not be seen in Peninsular Malaysia in the 14th General Election and would only be seen in Sabah and Sarawak, as we have made the critical decision to use the Pakatan Harapan common logo in the supreme effort to win the 14th General Election and establish the Pakatan Harapan Federal Government in Putrajaya. Let the RAHMAN prediction run its course in the 14GE, and may be it would be replaced by a second prediction of MAHATHIR for the next eight Prime Ministers of Malaysia

There is a famous saying about the first six Prime Ministers of Malaysia that it will fulfill the RAHMAN prediction.

So far this RAHMAN saying has worked, with Tunku Abdul Rahman as the first Prime Minister, followed by Tun Abdul Razak, Tun Hussein Onn, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Tun Abdullah Badawi and Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
