Chinese Perkasa the most irresponsible and worse possible response by MCA to Perkasa

The proposal by the MCA vice president and Deputy Finance Minister Senator Datuk Lim Siang Chai for the formation of a Chinese version of Perkasa to counter Perkasa is the most irresponsible and worst possible MCA response.

It is also the latest and most potent proof of the complete failure of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s 1Malaysia to unite Malaysians of diverse races, religions, cultures and languages in the country.

Is it seriously suggested that the way into the future for Malaysia is for the sprouting fo ethnic versions of Perkasa – not only Chinese Perkasa, but also Indian Perkasa, Iban Perkasa, Kadazan Perkasa and Orang Asli Perkasa?

If Najib’s 1Malaysia policy is successful as a meaningful Malaysian nation-building policy, there would be no Perkasa let alone the ridiculous suggestion by a top MCA leader for the formation of a Chinese Perkasa to counter Perkasa.

Is the MCA leadership seriously suggesting that the best way to counter the race-baiting and racist provocations like Perkasa screaming “Ketuanan Melayu” is to counter-scream “Ketuanan Cina”?

This will in fact falling right into the trap of Perkasa and such-like manifestations, for it will give them justification to continue to try to provoke, scare and stampede further polarization in Malaysia by making baseless allegations that the Chinese will take over the country; that the Malays will be oppressed and discriminated against in the next general election; that the Malays are losing political power marking the end of “Ketuanan Melayu” or the recent irresponsible claim that the ratio of registration of new voters between non-Malays and Malays are 40:1 when in fact it is a 2:1 ratio Malay to non-Malay.

If Najib’s 1Malaysia is sincere and serious in wanting to create a Malaysia where every Malaysian perceives himself or herself as Malaysian first and race, religion, geographical region or socio-economic group as second, then there should be no talk of “Ketuanan Melayu”, “Ketuanan Cina”, “Ketuanan India’ , “Ketuanan Iban”, “Ketuanan Kadazan” or “Ketuanan Orang Asli” as all Malaysians should focus on “Ketuanan Malaysian”!

By proposing the formation of a Chinese Perkasa to counter Perkasa, the MCA leadership is indirectly admitting to the umbilical links of UMNO leadership to Perkasa, which has been outsourced by UMNO to ensure that national policies are Malay and not Malaysian-centric.

The MCA leadership should not disclaim its political responsibility for the anti-national Perkasa phenomenon by trying to outsource it to a Chinese Perkasa.

In the few months of its existence, Perkasa had been successful in burying the New Economic Model (NEM) by ensuring that the NEM proposals for a total revamp of national economic policies to escape the middle-income trap of the past two decades to become a competitive high-income developed country by dismantling the New Economic Policy (NEP) with its suffocating race-based quotas which only benefit a handful of Umno cronies and spawned crippling corruption in the country.

The MCA leadership should speak up in Cabinet and Government to demand that UMNO leadership break all links and all forms of support for Perkasa and that the Umno leadership and the Cabinet do not succumb to Perkasa pressures for the abandonment of the NEM proposals to replace NEP race-based with NEM income-and- needs based affirmative policies.

MCA & MIC is not going to make any noise in the Cabinet. The only way to salvage their pride is to break away from the coalition.

But sad to say, if break away means to lose so much of money & so much of opportunity, then we can wait till cow come home but never the good things to happen.

DAP has been consistent all these years of propounding the concept of MALAYSIAN MALAYSIA-Malaysia for ALL Malaysians regardless of Race, Language, Religion, etc.

MCA is on the losing side of BN. DAP star is shining brighter everyday with mimimal squabble within the party.

Long Live DAP for a Better & more Harmonious Malaysia1

MCA’s idea is fight fire with fire is okay within the terrorist’s world but definitely not in a civil and demoncratic system we are in now. However since Perkasa has shown its ugly head and is not willing to give or offer any kind of compromise, certainly non malays too have the rights to deal with the situation when its being challenge all the time by Perkasa in respect of all the government’s intended policy for all malaysian ie 1malaysia.The Najib’s admin.has created a brick wall between Perkasa and non malays and must deal with it fairly and justly between the two walls. But as it’s now,the Najib’s admin.has been pretty biased againist the non malays. And it’s carrying it on,on a contrary method. Hence I think he’s now been ridiculed as far as his 1malaysia concept is concerned. If Najib sincerely wanted peace and harmony among the multi races in the country, then I think he should get rid if Perkasa as it’s a torn in the flesh.

MCA already back tracking. Next will come the usual excuse of ‘misunderstood’, ‘did not mean…’ and there will be further criticism of Perkasa..All drama, nothing real.

The point is WHAT is Najib’s answer to future since 1Malaysia and NEM is in a shambles? He is failing faster than Badawi.

The point is that UMNO/BN is filled with the likes of Donald Lim and hence there is no one that has the answer to what ails this nation. The only reason they are still in power is the overwhelming unfair advantage that Mahathir build into the system to OUR detriment.

So lets stop pretending UMNO/BN has answers to what ails us. Najib should just quit for the next inevitable failure to take over. Lets just go through all the failures UMNO/BN has to offer until the people get tired of them all..

Chinese Perkasa is wrong and I unequivocally disapprove such a measure. But the reason why this is happening is because the government has been intransigently slow in countering Malay Perkasa. Jib, you can’t have the cake and eat it. We told you many times already. Put it this way, for decades, the Malay elitist centric policy was in place and the non Malays have all suffered in silence. If there was a Chinese Perkasa or an Indian Perkasa emerged at that time, I am very sure they would be summarily crushed just like the way HINDRAF was handled. Now the non Malays are only clamouring for their rightful place under the Malaysian sun, and yet you and the UMNO-led govt have allowed so much leeway for Perkasa to cast aspersion and venom among Malaysians. Please don’t continue to evade and hide. The Malay Perkasa is NOT an ordinary NGO entitled to its freedom of speech. It is a fascist and an extremist group hell-bent at maintaining the status quo – i.e. enriching the vested Malay elites (I am all for helping the Malays who need help).

Lim Siang Chai’s proposal of a Chinese Perkasa is unwise, myopic and would sow the seed of racial animosity.

It is unbecoming of Lim Siang Chai to unwind the effort spent to unite the people of Malaysia in the past five decades just because he wants to garner Chinese votes.

Being a component in BN, Lim Siang Chai should persuade Najib to abandon links with Perkasa and make independent decisions on matters pertaining to distribution of wealth among the various races.

The same old boring song sung by DAP repeatedly. Why must they talk/discuss/highlight about race so often? Malaysians must unite against those who exploit race and religion to incite hatred for political gain . As Malaysia progresses towards becoming a developed country by the year 2020, there is a small group of people still going backwards,

UMNO cannot remain a race-based party if there were no MCA and MIC to give them justification. Or is it UMNO that gives justification to the existence of MCA and MIC? MCA and MIC have outlived their purposes; they were useful until Malaya gained independence in 1957.

Lim Siang Chai , the unelected member of Najib’s Cabinet, is trying hard to provide Najib an excuse for not condemning Perkasa, and is actively working to prop up Perkasa with a MCA version.

We are not sure whether Najib himself considered Perkasa tolerable or was he scared of Mamakthir to turn him into AAB2( AAB Kedua). Worse, Najib actually accepts Ibrahim Ali’s racist philosophy in keeping with his call to wash Keris with Chinese blood just before the Operation Lallang in Kuala Lumpur in 1988?

Either Lim Siang Chai is stupid as might be expected, or worse he is acting stupid to curry favour Najib.

As Malaysia progresses towards becoming a developed country by the year 2020, there is a small group of people still going backwards,

One can travel around the world eastwards or westwards. But Malaysia is not progressing to become a developed nation in whatever number if the leaders used the Mamakthir’s formula to rob the state in the name of saving a hodgepodge of Muslims collectively called Malays.

Indeed a small group of persons who rules in the name of the nation destroys the nation in the process. They are the UMNOputras.

Donald Duck thinks he can fight poison with poison? Come on, MCA has been “poisoned” by UMNO for more than 5 decades, so no ANTIDOTE is going to neutralize this poison. He thinks MCA can be “more poisonous” than UMNO?????

If you need a Perkasa to over run ethnic Perkasa.

Then, MALAYSIAN PERKASA form by all races is the answer.

If not mistaken before independent, Chinese was issued by British Colonial British Passport while the Malays status none.

In order to help these land independent, many chinese sacrificed the Colonial British Passport to gain independent from British administration work here hard to build this nation.

Without those hardworking chinese and indian ancetors in rubber and tin hardshiply. This country doubtful have money to develop in the early days at all.

For once cintanegara is talking right stuffs at the wrong people.
He should tell us…what UMNO…MCA and MIC stands for….and what Najib mean ..by saying unity through diversity.
Yes…divide to rule is what Najib meant.
So cintanegara should hit hard at UMNO B now.
I fully agree with cintanegara that all must unite against race dirty politics…and he should stop supporting UMNO B for that party is the main culprit.
All things been said..we know who cintanegara is…and he had one too many to be confused.
