Firstly, let me congratulate Wee Jeck Seng on being elected Member of Parliament for Tanjong Piai yesterday.
DAP and Pakatan Harapan accept the devastating result of the Tanjong Piai voters who spoke not only on behalf of themselves but of the country at their frustration and unhappiness at the pace of reforms since the 14th General Election on May 9, 2018.
This will the first agenda of DAP and Pakatan Harapan after the Tanjong Piai by-election.
The devastating Tanjong Piai by-election result has given greater urgency and importance to the review of the pace and implementation of the reforms promised by Pakatan Harapan, especially those contained in Buku Harapan in the 14th General Election Manifesto, for which the Pakatan Harapan Presidential Council had established a special review committee.

They know Tg Piai voters could be making a big mistake..Tg Piai voters EXPECT PH to cover their mistake, not lament or not take up the challenge.

Well, well, well.
What did I tell you?
Don’t treat the electorate as fools and nincompoops!
Many things in this country needed to be thoroughly looked at and revamped!
Like the haze which has been bedevilling us for more than two decades.
Like the public transport system which is more a non-system than a system with more disconnect than connect.
So, when will our ministers really take a good look into how they will provide more and better services to the public instead of waiting for complaints from them.
They should be proactive in serving the people or they better scoot!
Or be unceremoniously booted out!!

It is not about teaching PH a lesson. It’s about demanding better, much much better. It’s not that Tg. Piai did not know PH need Mahathir and Bersatu. BUT the voters are saying, PH still need to do better even if Mahathir and Bersatu are important I. E. They must be disposable or change along – whatever it takes, even if it means changing the constituency, giving Sarawak & Sbah more say AND making them fully part of the coalition and sideline their tribalism. Its hard, it’s so much to do but that only mean more and faster need to be done not excuses and lamentation

Let’s put it another way, if PH loses next GE, LGE will go to jail for the case with his house. Its irrelevant what the merit of the case is. The voters do not think about this. Its not their job to. Its PH job to make sure it does not happen, no matter how hard or impossible it is.

It is very weird that knowing full well that after inheriting the “legacy” from the previous regime, the PH government, instead of choosing the brightest and most capable as members of the government to put things right, prefers to co-opt amateurs and the inept to run the show!
Perhaps someone can explain the rational for doing so?

Hi Ronnie. You are spot on. You were polite. Your own leaders in Putrajaya is just as responsible as PM. They have all let us down. What then shall we do? Shall we organise street demo against our own leaders? What needs to be done to shake them up? Are they so out of touch ( as out of touch as PM ) that they cannot see what we see, hear what we hear, and feel what we feel? Have they become spiritually corrupted by the Putrajaya air? Please work internally to bring change in DAP’s attitude. There are many in DAP who think like us. We will work hard through social media. We may have to think of changing the whole Putrajaya lot. They have all become complacent Pussies.

Every Malaysian, whether a minister or a layman, has a right to speak up whenever they noticed something that’s not right!
Especially, if one is a minister!
They must not be put off by thinking that they are stepping on the toes of their colleagues!
To acquiesce to something that is wrong is unprincipled.

Mahathir’s latest statement that he cannot dictate Azmin’s meeting with BN leaders betrayed much of the suspicion of Mahathir’s plan from the start. He had planned from the start of formation of PH, to use Azmin against Anwar and retain his Mahathirism architecture.
Mahathir has not changed, he still will not admit, his ideas and design created Najib and kleptocracy. He think Najib and UMNO failed him and his ideas and Bersatu think so to.
That is why he headlined the Congress of Malay Dignity instead of pointing out the issue is the hypocrisy of Malay leaders, the very core of Mahathirism and his politics.
Critics have always known this could happen from Day 1 of PH and opposed it initially. They allowed it to happen trusting other PH leaders had a plan against the machinisation. Now you even see PKR Youth joining Mahathir’s grand plan.
What is Anwar’s, DAP and Amanah’s plan?

It is obvious, Mahathir, Bersatu and Azmin do not understand that they are pushing the country to Hong Kong, Chile, Brexit UK, Trump MAGA,. The issue is do Anwar, DAP, Amanah?

There was a litany of wrongs that Pakatan leaders had committed before the by-election. Among them, the shameless pandering to Zakir Naik by Pakatan Ministers (Zakir had called Non-Malays in the Peninsula, “pendatang”; and had insulted Hindu religious sentiments. There was that silly Malay Dignity Congress which Pakatan leaders had spinelessly attended, pouring oil over the fires of racial tensions. There was also the outrageous admission that the Pakatan manifesto was little more than “aca-aca”! So the UEC recognition was not given serious consideration, tolls were not abolished, and the cost of living issue could not be addressed satisfactorily. At least BN was stealing money to throw at the crowds in the form of “Brims” to appease them. Our brilliant professors did a racist kencing- operation of their own.
There is good in bad. Now we have a penitent, “mea-culpa” mood. Good! Learn from your mistakes, Kapitan Pakatan!
