Official support of PAS for MCA in Balakong by-election reinforces my call to Balakong voters to come out in full force to ensure “One Vote to reject MCA, UMNO and PAS” on Sept. 8

The official support of PAS for MCA in Balakong by-election has reinforced my call on Sunday night for the voters of Balakong to come out in full force on the by-election polling day on Saturday, 8th Sept. 2018 to carry out a historic and national task by using their one vote to reject the irresponsible and opportunistic politics of MCA, UMNO and PAS.

Malaysians have just celebrated Merdeka Day on August 31, and it was a celebration which was never like it in the past six decades.

Malaysians who were unconcerned and even indifferent in previous Merdeka Days were excited about the birth of a New Malaysia, a land where every Malaysian can feel proud to be a Malaysian.

Although Pakatan Harapan has peacefully and democratically replaced UMNO/BN as the Federal Government of Malaysia, MCA/UMNO leaders and conspirators are doing their utmost to bring about the downfall of the Pakatan Harapan Federal Government before the 14th General Election by 2023, or even earlier, in two to three years.

Now joining these MCA/UMNO leaders and conspirators in this irresponisble and opportunistic conspiracy to cause the downfall of Pakatan Harapan government are the PAS leaders, who have shown their hands in their appearance in support of the MCA Balakong by-election candidate last night.

We have on the one hand the MCA leaders, who are accusing the DAP of selling-out the rights and interests of the Malaysian Chinese, while the UMNO and PAS leadrers are complicit in attacking the DAP and Pakatan Harapan of betraying Malay rights and interests.

How such contradictory and conflicting objectives could be achived at one and the same time, the leaders of the unholy MCA/UMNO/PAS alliance have not tried to explain.

This was the message of the MCA President, Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, at the MCA Balakong by-election campaign yesterday, targetting the DAP Secretary-General and Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng for saying on his Cabinet appointment in May that he considered himself Finance Minister for all Malaysians and not just one for ethnic group.

MCA leaders, however, have no qualms in co-operating with UMNO leaders who last Saturday organised a Himpunan Melayu Bangkit (Malays Arise Rally) rally in Pasir Salak where the former UMNO Deputy Minister and MP for Pasir Salak Datuk Tajuddin Abdul Rahman made a preposterous, provocative and incendiairy speech that Malays have lost power following the 14th general election and that the government had been replaced with one controlled by non-Malays.

The allegations that the Malays have lost political power are as contemptible and even criminal as the MCA allegation that DAP and Pakatan Harapan will sell out the rights of the Chinese in Malaysia!

Now, MCA has gone one step further and is working hand-in-glove with PAS to destroy DAP and Pakatan Harapan.

I urge the voters of Balakong to cast their vote on Sept. 8 with three objectives – One Vote, Three Messages – to reject the MCA, UMNO and PAS for their irresponsible and opportunistic politics.

We need checks and balances in a mature democracy, but this is a role which MCA cannot play unless it is prepared to repudiate its past, particularly for aiding and abetting UMNO and former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak in the crime and treachery of turning Malaysia into a global kleptocracy.

Now MCA has descended to a lower level claiming that the rights and interests of the Chinese would be sold out by DAP and Pakatan Harapan!

Secondly, the Balakong voters must vote against UMNO for its “scorched earth” policy to take the toxic and vicious politics of race, religion, hate, fear and lies to an unprecedented level in the nation’s 61-year history.

The third message is to reject PAS for the extremist religious line adopted by the PAS President, Datuk Seri Hadi Awang.

Let the voters of Balakong give a resounding verdict to vote for a New Malaysia and the future of the nation and reject the machinations of the MCA/UMNO/PAS plot to topple the DAP and Pakatan Harapan Government before the 15th General Election, if not earlier in two or three years’ time!

Frankly it’s not significant MCA sink ever lower. What is nationally important is PAS who broke up with Pakatan because it accused DAP of wrong, now willing to support MCA who, even if they claim they are helpless, must oppose PAS agenda.

In other words, PAS has lied, continue to lie worst truly medieval in thinking others are subservient to then, less than them, its their entitlement to discriminate based on religion, inevitably race and more. PAS is a clear and present danger to the founding of the nation, modernity, progress. It means PAS-UMNO can only end up as a kleptocratic theocracy – a faster way to a failed state.

Ah, politics is alive and kicking in Malaysia! That’s the way, boys. Take your cue from our ex-PM: beaten but not down: this man is like a king amongst them (full of “gambeeram”). Now everyone can dream of a come-back even if takes one to be a nonagenarian first.
