Discovery – Salleh Said Keruak is another “one trick pony”

I only came across the blog of the Minister for Communications and Multimedia, Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak on “Kit Siang camouflaging his true ambitions” after I had issued my statement “Abdul Rahman should not be a ‘one trick pony’” on Abdul Rahman’s interview with Channel News Asia yesterday.

Suddenly I realized that there was not one but two “one trick ponies”, and both are from Sabah.

Salleh took offence when I said in Tawau last Monday that Sabah had produced two “UMNO stooges”, he and Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan, and Salleh asked if standing up for one’s party to defend it against lies, slander and other attacks makes one a stooge.

My answer was a categorical “NO’.

I said such a question indicated two maladies: Firstly, Salleh’s poor grasp of thinking and logic, for I had never said or implied such a thing. Secondly, his poor grasp of English, which seems to be an affliction reaching the highest levels of the UMNO/BN Cabinet and leadership.

Salleh never realized that when I said “Sabah has produced to UMNO stooges”, I was referring in the context like the “The Three Stooges”, where Salleh and Abdul Rahman Dahlan played the role of Najib’s court jesters, becoming the laughing stock of the country.

But on reflection, I agree that both Salleh and Abdul Rahman Dahlan also qualify for the second meaning of “stooge”, an unthinking underling who will do anything to please his master.

I am prepared to produce a list where Salleh and Abdul Rahman played the two roles of “stooges” if both or any one of the two is prepared to organise and host a public event.

But in continuing to play their role as “one trick pony”, Abdul Rahman has decisively beaten Salleh as the BN Director of Strategic Communications was able the get the Channel News Asia to publish his interview yesterday that I would be the Prime Minister if Pakatan Harapan wins the next general election, while Salleh was one day late, blogging about it only today.

Be that as it may, both the Sabah duo have only convinced Malaysians about their lack of vision as well as lack of imagination as well.

Malaysia can surely do better than having these two “one trick ponies” in the Cabinet in Putrajaya!

Is it a coincidence so much political volume is played out in or from Sabah? All these political sensation looks like its on approval of Najib himself? Did Special Branch tell Najib Sabah is a problem for him and thereby need purging?
