To all our Muslim compatriots
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Ramadan is seeking Allah’s blessing,
From evils are the souls set free.
This day marks the end of fasting.
Ramadan tests men’s steadfastness
In accordance with God’s grace:
Full of forgiveness and fairness,
Purged of all the satanic trace.
There is the sincere sympathy,
For the poor, and their poverty;
In the heart is the empathy,
For all the deprived community.
Eid celebrates God’s good men,
Honestly just, with good forbearance;
Not those with the deceitful mane,
With nasty, vengeful intemperance.
Hari Raya Aidilfitri joyously unifies,
The togetherness of friends, families;
And most assiduously quantifies
All the best values with fine homilies.
Here is wishing you and everyone,
A happy and blessed Aidilfitri.
May this day realize all your wants,
And suffuse you with joy and glee!
Maaf zahir dan batin.

Wishing all our muslim brothers and sisters a Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri. It is the hope of fair minded Malaysians from all walks of life, race and religion that there will be sincere and honest desire to live together in peaceful and harmonious understanding. Let’s not just be hypocrites like UMNO who call themselves “moderates” when in truth UMNO is abusing religion in an autocratic manner for their own selfish purposes. Let’s not allow such bigots to destroy the minds of young Malaysians so that our future generations will hopefully see a better Malaysia.

During this holy and festive season, it is our tradition and our beneficent that we put aside pretty much everything to wish and bless each other. But I am going to tempt faith and point out that that Najib’s message for the Muslim world this Eid-Fitri is that all Muslim must unite is.. well pretty mediocre and far short of the pretentious intellectual he paints himself to be.
Those including Mahathir that keep pounding the point that the problem of Muslim especially in this country is that they are not united is hogwash. Are Singaporean, Koreans, Hong Kongers, Taiwanese that united to built the juggernaut economies that each of them are?
The truth is the main problem of uniting the Muslim world and we Malaysia have the same disease pounded constantly by Mahathirist thinking is that they draw their main socio-economic might from political power and exploiting resources – not human development and social empowerment. Those in power, mostly political, don’t devolve power,especially economic power to the masses but concentrate them in the name of pride, race or religion. They argue that the richest billionaires are not Malay Muslim while the gap between the masses is wider and MANY TIME MORE bigger issue.
The point is that Najib’s intellectual pretention is just that and takes us nowwhere, merely the status quo that has always been. His argument that changed has got to be planned when the they did not do much planning or thinking each time they decide to divide us and propagate lies, hate and slander – and its been going on for too long, for decades.
This Aidil Fitri, think about unity but Malaysian unity that is the responsibility AND once proud and celebrated tradition of the majority of this nation and therefore their leaders.
