Umno Youth members protest Khairy death threat at PKR headquarters

PETALING JAYA, June 28 — Hundreds of Umno Youth members on motorcycles circled the PKR headquarters here late last night in a threatening manner ahead of the July 9 Bersih rally, ostensibly to protest a death threat against their leader Khairy Jamaluddin.

They arrived at the office block in Tropicana, just a few doors away from the Tropicana police station, claiming that a death threat sent to Khairy recently came from the opposition party, which denied the allegation.

The group of Umno Youth members protesting outside the PKR headquarters last night.

Executive committee member Lokman Noor Adam claimed he led 600 Umno Youth members at 10.30 last night, blocking the street in front of the PKR headquarters as they chanted loudly in the night.

He said the gathering of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Umno Youth members was to “send a clear message to PKR that we are not afraid and we are ready to meet them even earlier.”

The Umno Youth chief, who is currently overseas, had said he received the threat via text message on Sunday warning him to call off a counter rally against the Bersih march for electoral reform.

PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution told The Malaysian Insider that 300 Umno Youth members, mostly on motorcycles, had travelled from as far as Shah Alam but were not stopped by police despite waving Umno flags.

“They gave a speech outside, threatening that if the Bersih rally proceeds, they will harm Datuk Ambiga Sreenevasan and Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim,” he said, referring to the Bersih chief and PKR de facto leader respectively.

“They also threatened to burn down our HQ,” the Machang MP said, adding that he had lodged a police report at the police station a few doors down.

However, Lokman told The Malaysian Insider that Umno Youth did not threaten PKR with violence.

“We gave strict orders not to touch their headquarters. We are not like them,” he said.

PAS has promised to bring in hundreds of thousands of supporters from across the country as Pakatan Rakyat (PR) gears up for a second such rally in recent years.

The first Bersih rally in 2007 saw up to 50,000 people take to the streets of Kuala Lumpur before they were dispersed by police armed with tear gas and water cannons.

The demonstration has been partly credited for Pakatan Rakyat’s record gains in Election 2008, where the opposition pact swept to power in five states and won 82 parliamentary seats.

However, counter rallies are being planned by both Perkasa and Umno Youth who have pledged to march despite the government insisting it will not issue any permits for gatherings in the city on July 9.

Umno youths found the wrong tree. All the barkings by them only succeeded in shooing away some birds perched on the branches and a couple of mating squirrels nearby. Wot inconsequential undertaking. Wasted efforts. And as usual money needlessly and improperly expanded in the exercise. If this is not public display of mess orgy then what is?

PKR is for “bersih”. Ibrahim bin perkasa is for “kotor” (which he, thinking that others are stupid decided to style his stand as anti-“bersih”, instead). And the hairy monkey is against ibrahim bin perkasa. In other words, hairy monkey is anti-“anti-bersih”. Whether that could be translated into anti-“kotor” and hence “bersih”, we do not know. Logically, that conclusion seems inescapable. But hairy monkey has yet to make his stand clear. Would he, come 9th July, walk with “bersih” or with “kotor” or would he rather get himself all muddied and soiled somewhere in the middle?

The point is this. Ibrahim bin perkasa is only “good for a laugh” the hairy monkey once opined. And that is good enough. For us, that is. Ibrahim bin perkasa is no friend of his. Yo. That at the least represents a tiny bit of common ground in the world of umno-maintained diversity between he and us. Hence, and really we then have no reason to anti-“hairy” on the issue of “bersih” election. Hey middle ground is still better than an all out support for “kotor” election.

So umno youth, look elsewhere for the suspect who issued that death threat. For a start, why not look inside umno.

The actions of Perkasa threatening violence against rally participants and Bersih chairman Ambiga. Then the police arrest of the 30 activists and now these Umno youth goons action. It shows that Umno is a wounded and desperate animal and can be very dangerous.Umno has send out all the thugs and paid goons they can gather and go all out to create havoc.Playing dirty no matter whatever the consequences as long as they hang on to power.

The Umno GOM has already made it known publicly that there are two sets of laws. The one for Umno and its hired hands is that they have a free hand to do whatever damage and harm to the opposition. They have immunity from getting arrested. The other set of law for rally participants and opposition members is no wearing of yellow, red and black teashirt.Teashirts with logos too.Penalty is ISA.

Umno has the services of SB,AG,MACC,PDRM and the RMAF.Besides these institutions they also have paid thugs. From now until July 8,all rally participants and opposition members should keep out of sight of these gangsters. There is no way to met these guys now.The only way is have a huge rally crowd on July 9, 2011.A huge rally crowd of at least one hundred and fifty thousand upwards and the Umno gangsters will be a no show.

The PDRM will not intervene if there is a huge crowd.Even the army will not go in too. They have friends, relatives and family members in the crowd too.Besides they have the excuse that the whole world is watching.Remember the PDRM personnels is makan gaji only. But a small crowd and they will have no choice but to break up the rally. This rally is all about numbers.Big numbers Bersih marches on.

If you ask me, this is a bait to get PKR and PAS to break discipline at crucial time leading to July 9. No different than bullies taunting the victim to start a fight so they can beat them up as gang.

The actions against PSM, AMK head etc. they are all baits..

Umno is going all out to test the patience and nerves of rally organisers and participants.Umno and its affiliates have sunk so low and dirty that in the face on Malaysians they have turned into”PARIAHS”.It is also a well known fact that they harbor rapists in Umno too.Shameless barbarians.

So what’s new? UMNO youth is good at burning building, waving kris, shouting profanity and of course, hiring rempit. We do remember rempit is KJ’s pet project. The usual rate is RM50 plus RM10 for petrol and roti canai with teh tarik after circus.

Ever heard of the American Republican Party (GOP) threatening to burn down the Democrats’ Party or vice versa? This shows that our democracy is a sham.

Khairy must issue a statement whether he asked the mat Rempits to encircle PKR or if he condones such Rempitism.

What more can we say? Rabid Rempits.
Isn’t UMNO culture all about racist rabidism?
    …..and Rabid Rempitism.
    …..and Rabid hooliganism.
    …..and Rabid thuggerism.

This is not a wee bit the Malay culture.
    Hooliganism is ghetto culture.

This is typical UMNO Youth culture. It is their typical behaviour. Their membership is made up of miscreants. They all need a spanking or two.

In future is much better for any parents to make sure their young after graduating from University or whatso-x-ford joining a proper group!
By looking at them making anyone more convince of earlier good speech by leader about using ‘guts’ for wrong thing!

Better for Umno/BN to watch out
The more it resorts to ‘play dirty’
The more the Bersih 2.0 turnout
The bigger the GE political tsunami
