The outcome of this affair was expected. The result is Najib’s main administrative philosophy 1Msia is in tatters, his economic program, whatever its called, will also be.

The more relevant fact is Najib is under pressure – he now rule at the pleasure of Mahathir. He has to negotiate carefully with the former premier to even just keep his job. Its simply untenable for him.

Najib has to make up his mind whether he is a patriot or whether he is self-centred prodigal child that he was expected to be. If he is a patriot, he fights Mahathir, if he is a prodigal child, he either panders to Mahathir or do nothing, both will lead to his eventual ingnominous end.

There is no way he is sleeping easy now..

NGOs,political activists and all parties must stand up and voiced out loud against this continuous subordination of national interests by umno the ‘oint’ oint’ Napolean. This issue should not be let go without all parties to demand for the stern action against the Utusan Malaysia. We demand the institutional rights and respect accorded to us from the government.

We are all outraged. This is the country where the ruling elite can make all sorts of baseless accusations against anyone, and that “anyone” will have to prove their innocence. This is not a matter of race or religion. It applies to all of UMNO’s threats – whether it is PAS, or PKR or the Christian fraternity.

What puzzles is me why the Christian leaders acted the way they did – capitulating in front of Najib knowing full well that the meeting will be used to justify the initial allegations. Maybe this is a standard response from the minorities – let’s allow them to sweep everything under the carpet for the sake of peace and harmony.
