    Dear Killer and Lextcs,

If you are reading this, I hope you will come back to the good side and listen to the people. Earn their respect. I am sure they will welcome you with open arms. Stop siding your biased evil master. Stop trying to twist the mind of the people. Again, earn our respect. If you do, not only I will respect you, I will listen.

“What good amid all the things you are getting when you get no respect from the people”

    Come back.

I like the composure of this MP from Jerlun. He looks and sounds professional. However at times, YB Lim Kit Siang is bordering on emotional although the points made are usually strong.

What I wish to see is less emotion and more control. It helps the image.

YB Kit as he spoke referring to corruption asked if the MP from Jerlun agrees with him that his father’s administration is often referred to by the letters KKN (corruption, cronyism and nepotism), the junior MP from Jerlun stood up instead to refer to the opposition’s constant use of the term “tsunami politik” and spoke about his visit to Aceh and the fact that “in the event of a tsunami everybody dies” and called for the opposition not to misuse this term and to find a better term.

Then he commented about corruption as meaning also the abuse of power and not limited to “wang ringgit sahaja” and that abuse of power was why Anwar Ibrahim was found guilty not too long ago. He then asked why even though his father had retired four years ago his “influence here is still being felt” so much so that Kit needed to refer to him all the time.

Here YB Kit lost a good opportunity to deliver a one-two punch followed by a left hook!

This BN MP from Jerlun is not as smart as his siblings. But then since when being smart is a qualification for serving as BN MPs??

Anyone who objectively looked at Dr. M period must realize no matter how much he did which is even arguable anything great, he did a lot of damages. AT best one can say Dr. M did just as much good as much as bad.

The point those who support Dr. M must realize is the point is to repair and put behind the damages. Witch-hunting is not the main goal here and Malaysian are a generous lot not to pursue that. In other countries, they would want to lock him up and throw away the keys. They should be reminded what the Philippine is still trying to do the Marcos family and Suharto was persecuted until he died and his son is in jail.

We seek no such thing but we seek to put in perspective, not shirking away, the truth of our history and the reclaim of our legacy of strong institutions which is our birth-right during independence which Dr. M took away. Without doing so, there is no closure and we will forever be dragged by the mistakes of Dr. M.

We seek not to burden the wrongs of the past AND being generous to it. Is that not something as a country we should be proud and all work together towards it? Is undermining that more seditious than the persecution of RPK or Karpal Singh or Namwee?

The problem (one of culture which has been allowed to take roots over years of BN rule or rather misrule) is in Malaysia those in public office view the fruits of corruption as spoils of public office they are entitled to in return for their many years of devotion to public office. In the west they know that the fruits of corruption are fruits of the poisonous tree.

    To YB Lim,

I have to agree with ChinNA on “I like the composure of this MP from Jerlun. He looks and sounds professional.”

Partly because he is speaking fluent Malay. Thus, the issue now is back to the fluency in Malay speaking. It is a must if we need to debate in Malaysia’s Parliament.

I don’t know if you people are aware that the SG PM Lee Hsien Loong can speak very good Malay. I’m very impressed on that though I thought that’s not really required for him.

I’m sorry but I’m just thinking that sometimes to blog in Malay, it may help to brush up everybody’s Malay speaking. I’m going to start to use Malay now.

DSAI for Prime Minister of Malaysia by Sept 16, 2008!

The TRUTH prevailed, Makkal Sakti survived Tsunami.

    Dear Kerishamuddinitis,

Taubatlah. Dulu jatuhkan Sanusi, Ghafar Baba dan Abdullah sendiri. Takkan tak sedar lagi” .

Semoga Anwar membaca apa yang saya tulis.
