All eyes will be on the 74 MPs of PAS and Bersatu as to whether will be conduct themselves in the three-week Parliamentary meeting beginning on Monday as a loyal and patriotic Opposition or will they continue to undermine political stability and national unity by polarising race and religious issues.

If a national referendum is held now, as to whether Malaysia needs political stability and national unity to reset and return to the original nation-building principles for a plural Malaysia, which had the support of the first three Prime Ministers of Malaysia who were also UMNO Presidents, and work hard to restore economic recovery and be a world-class nation, I believe the result will be firm and powerful “Yes”.

The possibility that the Anwar Unity Government will be toppled and Malaysia return to the post-Sheraton Move era of unconstitutional and illegitimate “backdoor” government has been destroyed by the successful holding of the Unity Government Convention last Sunday.

The Anwar Unity Government has passed the test with the holding of the Unity Government Convention last Sunday.

Will the 74 Perikatan Nasional MPs of PAS and Bersatu pass the test in the forthcoming three-week Parliamentary meeting starting on Monday?

Will the PAS President Hadi Awang finally speak in Parliament to substantiate his accusation after the 15th General Election that the DAP was promoting Islamophobia and why he failed to report it to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Islamophobia Observatory when he was the Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to the Middle East under the premiership of Muhyiddin Yassin and Ismail Sabri?

Is Hadi’s six-month silence to my repeated challenge to him to substantiate his preposterous allegation that the DAP was promoting Islamophobia going to extend further into the future?

And is Hadi to maintain his silence to the other wild and preposterous allegations against the DAP, like his preposterous allegations that

  • DAP was the mastermind or had anything to do with the 2018 episode when the Pakatan Harapan government under the Prime Minister, Tun Mahathir Mohamad had tried to ratify the International Covenant of the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (ICERD). All Hadi need to do is to ask the then Foreign Minister, Saifuddin Abdullah who is now with him in Perikatan Nasional (PN), or with Mahathir as they had become such great pals with Hadi supporting Mahahtir’s Malay Proclamation.
  • His wild and preposterous allegations that that non-Muslims and non-Malays were “plunderers” who gave and received bribes, and had conned the Malays and Muslims of their rights for over a half a century.
  • His latest wild and preposterous allegations that the DAP had targeted Malays who were “ignorant about their faith” to amass political power and that DAP “lured” certain Malay figures to become its “puppets”.

During the Teluk Intan by-election in May 2014, Hadi reminded PAS members that DAP had helped PAS when the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition tried to oust the party from ruling Kelantan during the 1977 Kelantan Emergency.

He said although there were so many things different between DAP and PAS, like what is halal (permissible) and haram (forbidden), alcohol, pork, and hudud, the two parties agree with each other in eradicating poverty, cruelty, and corruption, among others. Was DAP promoting Islamophobia in coming to PAS’ help in 1977?

It is pertinent that since 2018, Hadi has not been able to cite a single case of the 55 out of 57 Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC) Muslim countries where Islam was undermined or a single case of the 36 out of 38 countries with monarchical system where the monarchical system was affected as a result of the ratification of ICERD.

I have disclosed that in the Kajang Move in 2014, where Anwar Ibrahim and Wan Azizah Wan Ismail were thwarted in their plan to become the Menteri Besar of Selangor, Hadi had seen me to solicit DAP support for PAS’ opposition to Anwar as the Prime Minister-designate.

Hadi suggested Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah should replace Anwar as Pakatan Rakyat’s Prime Minister-designate.

Is it because I disagreed and reminded Hadi of the Pakatan Rakyat’s decision to name Anwar as the Prime Minister-designate that I became anti-Malay and anti-Islam?

Would I become a great champion and fighter for Islam if I had suggested that Hadi, and not Razaleigh, should be the Pakatan Rakyat’s PM-designate?

Finally, does Hadi agree with the objective to make Malaysia a role model to the world for inter-ethnic, inter-religious, inter-cultural and inter-civilisation dialogue, understanding, tolerance and harmony?
