Hadi should break his silence for two decades as PAS President and declare whether he had supported Vision 2020 and the nine strategic challenges

PAS President, Hadi Awang is back to his old tactics, using lies, falsehoods, and fake news in his Facebook postings to defame others he regard as undermining his authority and leadership.

It is four months since Hadi had made the wild and preposterous allegation that DAP is promoting Islamophobia, but he was unable to cite a single instance when I repeatedly challenged him.

Is Hadi going to retract his wild and preposterous allegation that DAP is promoting Islamophobia?

I fully support the Prime Minister, Anwar Ibrahim’s call in Saudi Arabia urging the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to take decisive action dealing with the issue of Islamophobia.

Does Hadi agree with Anwar Ibrahim on this?

I have never been anti-Islam or against the various great religions in the country. What Malaysians should oppose are extreme and intolerant religious teaching.

It was Hadi who said in the Teluk Intan by-election in May 2014 that PAS was working together with DAP as a token of gratitude for standing by their side when the Kelantan government fell in 1978.

Hadi said it was DAP who defended PAS when the Kelantan government fell to Barisan Nasional then, causing chaos within the state.

I can still remember that day in Parliament on 8th November 1978, when I spoke against the declaration of an emergency in Kelantan and the Federal government take-over of the PAS State Government.

With such a background, I am very interested when Hadi made the wild and preposterous allegation after the 15th General Election that the DAP was promoting Islamophobia.

Is criticism of Hadi a form of Islamophobia?

If that is the case, then the Saudi Arabia government is guilty of Islamophobia for it regarded Hadi as a terrorist.

As Hadi recent Facebook postings were in connection with Vision 2020 and the nine strategic challenges, Hadi should break his silence for two decades as PAS President and declare whether he had supported Vision 2020 and the nine strategic challenges.
