UMNO President, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, has claimed that the floods are a “narrative and myth” spun by the opposition to avoid the 15th general election (GE15) from being held soon as the coalition has lost Malay support.

The “court cluster” in UMNO, represented by Zahid, are the only ones In the country who want the 15th General Election to be held during the monsoon and floods disaster even if they cost greater damage than last year which suffered RM6.5 million property losses and sacrifice of 54 human lives.
