Selangor DAP election results an inspiring example for Malacca voters to lead Malaysia in long-term struggle lasting 20-30 years for Malaysian First objective

The Selangor DAP election results are an inspiring example for Malacca voters to lead Malaysia in long-term struggle lasting 20-30 years for the Malaysian First objective.

I congratulate Gobind Singh Deo for being re-elected Selangor DAP State Chairman and Ng Sze Han for being elected Selangor DAP State Secretary, and all the rest of the Selangor DAP committee members.

The responsibility of the Selangor DAP state leadership is a great one in current tumultuous political changes in Malaysia.

We must be clear-sighted in our political vision and firm in our political conviction and principles, and not be in the market-place for sale to the highest bidder.

We do not want Malay first, Chinese first, Indians first, Kadazans first, Ibans first, but always Malaysians first.

We must leverage on the values and virtues of the four great human civilizations which meet in confluence in Malaysia – Malay/Islamic, Chinese, Indian and Western – to undo the damages of the last half a century which saw Malaysia losing out to one nation after another, and become a world-class great nation.

The DAP’s challenge is to become a political party for all Malaysians and be accepted by all Malaysians, regardless of race, religion or region.

LKS: I remember that your blog was a very robust platform for the discussion on the political matters in the country. At one time during the Reformasi era the number of active participation was very high – in the region of 500–600 comments per post. I was one of a group of spirited participants involved in discussion and comments. Unfortunately, as time goes on, the platform became very restrictive and unapproachable. Comments were censored or not printed at all.

Forward to today, your posts do not attract any comments. That means your blog is dead. Now I don’t even have any interest in the Pakatan Harapan message. We gave power to the coalition, but unfortunately you politicians fail us. Your co-option of Mahathir as the champion of the coalition was unwise. He was the reason why so many supporters of the coalition were pissed up. So worse comes to the worst, I am not interested in what is happening in Malaysia. My focus is now shifted to the political development in the US.

So much promise but so little result. LKS don’t fool the voters any more. I was a very enthusiastic supporter of your son. But his involvement with businessmen caused his downfall. But now you asked me how I feel about your son’s troubles, I can only say: “I don’t care, serve him right!”

How come your blog does not allow correction or edit?
