Najib stripped naked by the Saudis

It has finally happened – former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak literally stripped naked by the Saudis.

When it was reported midday yesterday that the Saudi Arabia Foreign Minister Adel Ahmad Al-Jubeir, who had in 2016 said the RM2.6 billion funds received by then prime minister Najib Abdul Razak was a “genuine donation”, is in Malaysia on a three-day visit and would meet the Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad today, thinking Malaysians are expecting a news report today that the Saudis have officially repudiated the story that the RM2.6 billion in Najib’s personal banking account in 2013 was a donation from the Saudi Arabia royal family.

In April 2016, Adel, during a meeting with the then foreign minister Anifah Aman in Istanbul, was asked about the multi-billion ringgit in Najib’s bank accounts.

Responding to this, Adel had said: “We are aware of the donation and it is genuine with nothing expected in return.

“We are also fully aware that the Attorney-General of Malaysia has thoroughly investigated the matter and found no wrongdoing.

“So, as far as we are concerned, the matter is closed”.

For the last 30 months, Najib and his cronies, aides and political allies have referred to Adel’s statement in defending Najib.

The chickens have now come home to roost, five years after the deposit of RM2.6 billion 1MDB monies into Najib’s personal banking accounts to “buy” the 13th General Election.

What more has Najib got to say now?

It is better for Najib to give up defending himself and own up for everything he did to sabotage the country and its people. Zahid will soon join him and the rest of the team who had helped themselves by helping Najib. He should be given the maximum sentence and kept in jail so that he cannot enjoy the rest of the money he had hidden in other countries. The same should go to others and this will be a good lesson for other politicians and government servants. In order to prevent a repeat of such incidents, the education ministry should include this as a history subject so that the whole new and future generation will never think of cheating rakyats money in any form.

Saudi sheiks are no saints. They are capable of prevarication like any other politician. Najib, like Macbeth, depended on the support of questionable characters who withdrew into the shadow of the trees when things got too hot to handle.

Look at the case of our brother, Jamal Kashoggi. Fifteen men on a dead man’s chest (thorax), no one knows where is the body. We are supposed to listen to much nonsense emanating from Arabia.
