The refusal of Tan Sri Mohamad Apandi Ali to submit an honourable and dignified resignation as Attorney-General despite the watershed and historic political change in the 14th General Election on May 9, 2018 with the first democratic and peaceful transition of power in Malaysia has set the worst possible example to all UMNO/BN political appointees.
Although he knows that he enjoys zero confidence in the new Pakatan Harapan government of Malaysia, Apandi’s hanging on to his office is being used by other UMNO/BN political appointees to hang on to their posts, although they know they have no moral claim or authority any more to these political appointments.
This is best seen among the political appointees in the Dewan Negara, as it is some four weeks since the fall of the UMNO/BN government on May 9, 2018, but not a single UMNO/BN appointed Senator has resigned from their Senate appointment.
However, we still see righteous statements from these Senators who have forfeited all moral authority to speak – like the MCA Senator Chai Kim Sen.
Who will be the first UMNO/BN Senator who will submit honourable and dignified resignation from the Senate?

Umno/Bn members should know that they are no longer relevant to the PH government. They should honourably vacate their position.Otherwise they will suffer humiliation when the voters rise against them.Do not be thick skinned and just get out.You had 60 years of power and money.Keep the leftovers for the future if you think you can come back. The MCA had said that it will take another 60 years for the umno/bn to come back!It is a long time so go and sleep and dream of what you had.PH still want your criticism to improve for we know how responsible we were when we were in the opposition.

What is Apandi Ali fighting? Not only does he refuse to resign, he is not saying much either. The man is not accountable to the most basic principles..IT scary to think what he would have done if Najib had decided to go to war with the people..
