Congrats to Malaysian athletes for 111 Gold Medals in the SEA Games and go for more in the last two days of SEA Games, including the “mother of all medals” – the football gold tonight.
But will the Cabinet meeting on the eve of the 60th National Day celebrations strike a Gold for Malaysia by vetoing the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s humiliating and shameful visit to the White House and meeting with US President Donald Trump scheduled for Sept. 12 as a kleptocrat and “MO1”?
I reserve comment on the extraordinary and unprecedented Merdeka video where the MCA President and Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai took on a double acting role, but to pose the question after watching Pete Teo’s Merdeka video as to how Malaysians can have hope for the country when Ministers in Cabinet are not prepared to emulate the example of Malaysian athletes in SEA Games and strike a Gold in defence of the honour, dignity and reputation of Malaysia?
Malaysians must never lose hope in Malaysia, but tomorrow, Malaysians will know whether Cabinet Ministers from the 14 Barisan Nasional parties can be relied upon to keep this hope alive or Malaysians have no choice but to look elsewhere if the Merdeka Dream of all Malaysians, regardless of race, religion, region or politics is to be achieved at all.

Actually why? The SEA games haul, much of it, is because the games are RIGGED in Malaysia favour as host. Yes, its the agreed format, BUT for us, in Malaysia, RIGGED format, IS A national political, social, economic problem that extends into race and religion.
Do we need to celebrate the fundamental of a game that is the very same issue with our national issues? Is it not perpetuating the myth and even add to the problem?
As it stands, even the opposition cannot handle the truth especially in PKR, but frankly its in ALL the opposition parties. EVEN partners of the opposition from analyst and NGOs cannot face the truth of our national dysfunctionalities. Suggestion to continue to negotiate with PAS refuses to face dysfunctionality, avoiding it. Wong Chin Huat just suggest PH to treat GE14 as transition. The problem is Mahathir is the leader of PH and he is not likely to have a next GE, so transition to what after GE14?
So do we need to celebrate more of our dysfunctionalities?

We lost the most important gold of all by an own goal. “Goaly-keeper’s” fault, but he rightly took it in his stride. But some other fellow was seen crying and crying away like the never stopping Hurricane Harvey. Come on man, where is the sporting spirit? The phoenix shall rise again. When is the next battle, please!
