Preliminary inquiry showed that a well-funded Umno/BN conspiracy was hatched three months before the dissolution of Parliament on April 3 to demonise the DAP, which also spawned the outrageous allegations of a fictitious DAP-funded “Red Bean Army” of 3,000 cybertroopers purportedly with a budget of RM100 million to RM1 billion in the past six years to character-assassinate UMNO/BN leaders on the cyberspace.
The main purveyors of the lies about the “Red Bean Army” are the UMNO/BN owned/controlled print media, which include Utusan Malaysia, New Straits Times, Berita Harian and Star, both before and after the 13th General Elections on May 5.
The baseless allegations purveyed and perpetrated by Utusan Malaysia, New Straits Times, Berita Harian and Star must go down in their history as the lowest points they had ever plumbed in prostituting the journalistic profession for the basest of considerations and objectives completely nothing to do with facts and truth, which should be the staples of journalism.
How can so-called journalists in Utusan Malaysia, New Straits Times, Berita Harian and Star who had a hand in spewing the lies about the DAP-funded “Red Beans Army” of 3,000 cybertroopers which only exist in their wildest imaginations ever hold their heads high as honest, upright and God-fearing journalists?
But the lies about the so-called DAP-funded Red Beans Army were only part of a larger plot since early January to demonise the DAP with lies and falsehoods and it is sad that there are former DAP members and leaders who were prepared to stoop so low as to tell lies and falsehoods to further this UMNO/BN agenda.
Their lies and falsehoods cannot hurt DAP as nobody would believe them – or the DAP would not be able to win 38 Parliamentary and 95 State Assembly seats in the 13th General Elections.
To justify the failed UMNO/BN investments on them, these DAP renegades are continuing their campaign of lies and invectives against DAP leaders.
Up to now, the DAP leadership had ignored them as they are utterly irrelevant but if they continue with their lies, falsehoods and invectives against DAP leaders, then they must be prepared to be exposed for the cads that they are or have become.

They were all high on ‘red beans soup’. They shouldn’t put in the ‘root’ when making it.

“…But the lies about the so-called DAP-funded Red Beans Army were only part of a larger plot since early January to demonise the DAP with lies and falsehoods…………..”
It is not just demonising the DAP. There seems to be a pattern in gradually demonising all Chinese. Starting with Najib’s “chinese tsunami” and now the latest revelation that the racist movie Tanda Putera would be released for cinema viewing in August despite being rejected by the previous Cabinet seems to indicate a concerted and calculated move to demonise all Malaysian Chinese. This could be due to the jockeying for position ahead of the UMNO General Assembly at year end.

Didn’t they tell you that politics is all about perception and all warfare is based on deception? Politics has had a bad reputation for spin since the UMNO days but marketing is all about perception and they understood this. The business of managing people’s perceptions has long been practiced by many others where we can learn from.
Remember, the used of this double-edged sword can cuts both ways. Use it wisely to your advantage!
