BN will have to tell a thousand lies to cover up the one lie about Najib’s “yee san” fiasco at the Penang BN CNY Open House featuring Psy

Although the Penang police chief, Datuk Abdul Rahim Hanafi produced the SMS to the police on the death threat to South Korean K-Pop superstar Psy by his manager, he really did not explain the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib’s “yee san” fiasco at the Penang Barisan Nasional Chinese New Year Open House on the second day of the CNY eight days ago.

Yesterday, Rahim showed reporters the SMS which Psy’s manager sent to the police on Feb 10 at 8.30 pm which said: “We have received some serious death threats that have said they will stop PSY at all costs in airport and hotel in Penang.”

The Penang police chief said the police tightened security by assigning 11 officers to ensure the Korean superstar’s safety on his arrival the next morning on Feb. 11.

However, why had the Prime Minister, former Prime Minister Tun Abdullah and Cabinet Ministers have to undergo the public embarrassment and indignity of having to wait forlornly at the stage for over five minutes for Psy to join them in the “toss yee san” ceremony, only to sheepishly leave the stage when the “toss yee san” ceremony had not been completed – which is regarded as a bad omen by many?

The death threat, if genuine, were directed at Psy at the airport and hotel, but not at the Han Chiang school grounds – and the fact that nothing had happened at both the airport and hotel raises the question whether the “death threat” to Psy was credible, genuine or just a crank or prank joke. Did the police ever investigate the credibility of the death threat to Psy in Penang?

However, the manner the Prime Minister, former Prime Minister and Cabinet Minister left the stage without the completion of the “yee san ceremony” with all of them looking more shame-faced for having to wait publicly in vain for Psy for five minutes to join them, rather than in panic mode because of police alert of any “death” or “security” threat has only turned the episode into a public joke, as they are all caught on video uploaded on YouTube.

Originally, Najib’s “yee san” fiasco was explained by the Penang BN organisers as having been caused by the MCA Tourism Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Ng Yen Yen who messed up the arrangement and caused the BN leaders to be “red-faced” because she unilaterally told the emcee “ad hoc “ to invite Psy to join the “yee san” ceremony although it was not in the programme.

Then there was a second version contradicting the first version, alleging that Najib’s “yee san” fiasco was because there were attempts on the lives of Psy and the Prime Minister.

Rahim said yesterday that there was no death threat to the Prime Minister. There was also no evidence of “death threat” to Psy at Han Chiang.

Why then did the BN organisers hurriedly ushered Najib and other VIPs off the stage even before the completion of the “yee san” ceremony?

The Penang BN organisers are only proving the veracity of the saying that you have to tell a thousand lies to cover up one lie.

Sour grape is the best idiom to describe DAP….they are exasperated because they have not got or achieved something that they wanted….Nowadays when somebody expresses sour grapes, it means that they put down something simply because they can’t have it……

BTW, How come this blog never talk about Leong Pei Koe?????

They think youths will turn the country upside down. Therefore do everything and anything for the youths. Tell them which star you want them to send to you. The latest YouTube sensation created by you. This leaves the old people.

Spy’s manager should’ve charged for making false police report! PSY is not a politician, and so there is no political motive on his life, not even by North Korean politicians. It may be possible that robbers thought that PSY might be carrying bags of money to keep his three million ringgit, but they certainly did not want his life.

Even though PSY had to be anywhere except at Han Chiang, why did the organizer make the PM wait and embarrass him for more than five minutes that he had to pretend to be occupied playing with his iPhone?

Najib and Company had to move off the stage because the STAR of the event had arrived – PSY, and you cannot keep him waiting. He cost US$ 1 million or US$ 200,000 per minute.

When UMNO/BN can tell a thousand like to cover an embarassing moment without real consequences to the people, do people realize the lies and expense they will go through to cover up something of consequence to the rakyat such as PKFZ, Defense contracts, Cowgate, Syabas, etc etc and of course Scorpene and Altantuya??

After the yee sang toss rebuff, didn’t PSY perform an encore on stage? If so why did PSY or his manager who sounded the alarm of death threat at both the airport and hotel think it unsafe for PSY to toss yee sang on stage in Han Chiang but at same time think it safe for PSY to perform both before & after the yee sang toss???

  11. #12 by boh-liao on Tuesday, 19 February 2013 - 10:04 pm

PSY gets a free ticket to come to Malaysia. But clever enough not to be drawn into the mess of politics. Sort of. Cause from now onwards, the perception of Malaysians for him is different. Or the world for that matter. For a whopping RM 3 million bucks.

This is BN’s culture – they are incapable of admitting mistakes even though they are not very capable people. If only they apologised and admitted that there was a miscommunication, I am sure it was something that can be forgiven. Of course with one lie after another wanting to show their invincibility, they have dug themselves into a hole. I am sure many of us would find it easier to forgive the mistake than the lies that they have generated to cover the mistake. This is something that BN will never learn but I hope PR will not do the same if they are in power in the future.

///Earlier, Tun Majid had compared Dr Mahathir’s testimony during examination-in-chief last October with his testimony during cross-examination yesterday.

Dr Mahathir yesterday said that RM21 psf was the “cash price” while RM25 psf was the “contract price”, but Tun Majid pointed out that he had described RM25 psf as “cash price” during his testimony last October.

Dr Mahathir had then said that he was not an accountant and there is often a mix-up over such technical terms.

“I admit I may have used wrong technical terms but then I have admitted I am not an accountant,” Dr Mahathir, who was also the Finance Minister at the time of the land purchase, said.///– MalaysianInsider

Mamakthir created his own term in describing the transaction based on simple English. The cash price and the contract price should mean one and the same thing. It is the payment scheme that differs. One can pay cash, credit card or cheque for cash transaction, and there might be other financial charges involved but the price of the object remains unchanged. When the term contract price is used, it implies that payment is not settled immediately and the agred price is entered into a sales and purchase agreement. The contract price becomes the agreed cash price and other financial charges are included in the contract. That is how the term contract price is understood.

To claim that the price of an item changes based on payment method, exlusive of financial charges but including price appreciation, is to confuse the issue. Mamakthir purposely gave the impression that that was how he viewed transaction to explain the illogical consequence, and that proved that he was not deceived because he could not understand the process of transaction in the first place.

Having watched CSI on TV, we can conclude that, all are not possible.
However, Gerakan Youth’s Goh claimed that the ad hoc announcement by the MC, after being told by someone with authority, to call out Psy was the blunder.

Jugde Pao ask, ‘Who was that person?’
Will the MC please speak up, and put this matter to rest?
After all this subject is simply to show an embarrassing moment by BN.

Its important at time of election, but not urgent!

The truth story was that: Psy only come to dance and get his pay cek, no more no less. Anything less is ok to her but not anything more. Yee Sang was not on his agenda.

When the Lo Shang come along, some how one K-Po minister who is standing different from the other ministers suggest that let invite PSY and ask the mc to announce and invite PSY come on stage. Of course instruction come from a minister in Malaysia is something that you will not and would not like to offense, so that announcement. But PSY is not small fly he is Super-Super star even aliens would like him to dance in March or Saturn, he will not just come on stage on merely a invitation that was not on his agreed agenda. So that was the truth story………anything happened after are all lies..and lies as usual

///… serious death threats that have said they will stop PSY at all costs in airport and hotel in Penang.///

    Oooookay. Lets see.

Death threat??? Stopping psy at all costs does not sound anything like threatening death. In fact the message was specifically about stopping psy either at the airport or at the hotel. That is more like frustrating psy by preventing or hindering him from coming into the country or leaving the hotel.

Anyway, why not threaten to throw some spanners at psy’s performance? Why stop at the hotel? Ah! This is another matter. You see jib will be there at the performance. And monsterO’mamak will be there. And sleepyhead tooo. And and half of the lame cabinet will be there. You see, hindering psy and making the event look bad would effectively make umno and gang look horrible. So that wont do. I say this because I suspect the sender of the sms is an umno person (btw perkasa mca gerakan mic etc etc are all umno by another name).

Look further. Yeah, read the quoted message again. It carries the expression “at all costs”. This is a dead giveaway. We all know that this is umno’s favourite expression. We see this expression often enough in the news/media. It has been throw about all over the country by umno on and during all sorts of occassion on a regular basis – regular enough for us to draw the association between umno and the expression.

Hey cintanegara, are you sure you did not sent the sms? Just kidding boy. Relax.
