(A poem)
Love is an innate emotion
That thrives on benign conditions.
It grows and grows with mutual needs,
Based on right honourable deeds.
If denied this mutuality,
Love fades into obscurity.
The love of one’s country, nation,
Is the same, without exception.
It cannot be legislated,
Nor by orders, regulated.
Patriotism needs nourishments,
And caring love, not punishments.
It must feel strongly and belong,
With due appreciation lifelong.
The feeling of equality,
Must be sustained with reality,
Buttressed with laws of pure fairness,
And a culture of just greatness.
There should be no masters and slaves,
Nor self-crowned dictators and knaves.
State’s supports must be based on needs,
That should be the government’s creed.
Opportunities are not linked to race,
But dispensed with deserving grace.
When the Nation learns equal love,
Patriotism will willingly hove
Into the hearts and souls of all,
Ready to heed the country’s call.
Patriotism, love are the same,
Cherish them to burnish their flame.

Never mind about the may13 which followed umno’s killing of the poor child. This may 13 event will be always be remembered as a black incident in the history of the country. But we should at least seek justice for that boy – the poor child who was killed by umno people in cold blood! Who in the crowd then gathered at the selangor mb’s house took the life of that child?

Patriots are Malaysians….willing to defend the country and people with their lives.
Patriots are unselfish brave Malaysians.
But patriotism can be twisted to fool not so smart Malaysians…and that is where Mahathir is best at for 22 years.
After 12th GE…Malaysians are beginning to understand the truth meanings of Patriotism ….being enlightened…..observing…thinking…reading …comparing news from elsewhere.
Some are born Patriots…like Lim Kit Siang and Karpal.
Some become patriots through changing for the better with no fear.
