Let Malaysian Chinese unite as one Dragon and together with other Malaysians, effect a change of power in Putrajaya in 13GE

With the closer approach of the 13th General Elections, whatever the date decided by the Prime Minister to dissolve Parliament, one common aspiration uniting Malaysians is gathering momentum – the possibility and potential for change of power at the federal level for the first time in the nation’s 54 year history.

Let Malaysian Chinese unite as one Dragon in the Year of the Dragon and, together with other Malaysians, effect a change of power in Putrajaya in the 13th General Elections to fulfill Malaysia’s potential as an united, harmonious, democratic, just, prosperous and competitive nation.

In his pre-Chinese New Year walk-about in the Federal Territory on Friday, Datuk Seri Najib Razak claimed that Malaysia is the best place in the world to live in as it provided the “best value for money”.

This is the strongest reason why Malaysia needs a change of federal power because the powers-of-the-day in UMNO and Barisan Nasional suffer from an incorrigible disease of denial complex in refusing the admit the failures of government and nation-building in the past few decades which have driven some two million of the best and brightest Malaysians to foreign lands for they could not get respect and recognition or able to hold their heads high as Malaysian citizens in their own homeland.

If more evidence is needed to prove how cut-off the Barisan Nasional leadership has become from the aspirations of ordinary Malaysians, one need only refer to the message by the MCA President yesterday calling on the Chinese voters not to “experiment” in the next general elections as Barisan Nasional’s (BN) leadership has allowed the community to prosper.

Just as the Malaysian economy has developed in the past few decades despite the misgovernance, corruption and abuses of power of the UMNO/BN leadership, the prosperity of the Chinese community had been achieved despite the failings of the Barisan Nasional leadership.

There is nothing that the Malaysian people need thank the UMNO and Barisan Nasional leadership for as it is the reverse – Malaysians are entitled to blame the UMNO/BN leadership for the lost opportunities of Malaysia becoming a more developed, prosperous and competitive economy and a more united and harmonious nation because of its failures of leadership and governance.

This is why a total change of power in Putrajaya is uppermost in the minds of more and more Malaysians and I call on the Malaysian Chinese to unite and rise as one dragon, together with all other Malaysians, to effect a change of power in Putrajaya in the next general elections to begin a new page of history celebrating the greatness of all Malaysians.

///the prosperity of the Chinese community had been achieved despite the failings of the Barisan Nasional leadership…///

The MCA President did not know what he was talking. Didn’t he know that the per capita income of the Chinese community in Malaysia is way behind that of their counterparts in Singapore and Taiwan?

They steal us blind, then they turn around and say “we left something for you too, and you should be grateful”. Then they get running dogs like the MCA to offer their sympathetic nods of agreement that the Chinese should be grateful.

It’s not enough to just be rid of the Chinese running dogs like the MCA and Gerakan. We have to be rid of the entire BN, and we must rise with our Malay brothers and sisters in the year of the dragon for this purpose.

Ah Jib Gor said that he hoped the Year of the Dragon would be a profitable year, adding that it was a good year to hold elections. Kit’s message – “Let Malaysian Chinese unite as one Dragon in the Year of the Dragon and, together with other Malaysians, effect a change of power in Putrajaya” – will challenge his hopes. One of the Chinese New Year traditions for Chinese is to thoroughly clean their homes from top to bottom. In essence, Kit is urging Malaysian Chinese together with other Malaysians to spring clean the Malaysian body politic off the dirt and grime of BN’s patronage cum racial politics this Dragon Year!

Those Chinese chau kaus with assets in Australia, UK, Singapore – they are grateful alright. They managed to get some crumbs from the UMNO table, for which they now have to sing the tune of being grateful.

Let’s now see what according to Chinese horoscope the Yr of Dragon holds for Ah Jib Gor, whom I believe a Snake (since he said it was good yr for election). According to Chinese horoscope, the Snake will be a winner amongst members of Zodiacal circle. Oops sorry. Apparently the position of the planets is favourable for Snake’s activities. He will come in full of “charm and charisma”. Dragon Spring not so optimal as he may encounter “back door currents and back stage intrigues”. Things improve in Summer. Though affairs will be smooth, he will engaged in “intense pace of work”. Snake will relax in Autumn, strengthening partnership will be effective in this period throughout to Year end. Does this mean he has “consulted” horoscope and would call for GE in May 2012 for it to be held in June or July?

For the past 50 years, the Chinese stood by and tacitly accepted the pillaging of this country. What the heck, they thought, we have our freedom to make some money and we go with the flow. Then after we made some money, they tried to grab what we have through their cronies and relatives. What the heck, the Chinese thought, if we can’t beat them, let’s join them. But the circles keep getting smaller and smaller – the thieves’ appetite keeps getting bigger and bigger.

There is no country to wake up to if BN continues in power. Malaysia Spring has to happen in the year of the dragon.

Correct. Let us unite. I believe that ordinary Malaysians can unite and are united. It is the UMNO / BN politicians who are trying their best to divide us. They have institutionalise racism.
Let us all unite to show UMNO / BN the door out of Putrajaya, and start a new Malaysia that is colour blind.

We need to change the tenant at Putrajaya. GE 13 is coming soon. It is our best chance, Lets unite, Failure is not an option. Let us all work very very hard for a better Malaysia.

To be fair, the former Alliance did provide the groundwork during the first 29 over years after Merdeka. Then from late 80s onwards, it is all SWINDLING all the way. If CSL’s claim is true then we won’t see 1 million Malaysians working overseas and contributing to others’ progress. All the so-called privatized projects have been designed to enslave all Malaysians in making them paying for the basic utilities and enriching their cronies who of course have to part with their profits too, as commission fees. And they do this by hiding under OSA! Where on earth do we find any Government which signed contracts on behalf of its people who are NOT ALLOWED to see the terms and conditions of such contracts. The objective is so obvious!

Our so-called ” leaders ” had betrayed the ordinary people trust by playing the divisive and damaging politics of race and religion for far too long.
