On Sunday, 2nd May 2010, DAP leaders including DAP Deputy Chairman Senator Tunku Aziz, DAP MP for Serdang, Teoh Nien Ching and DAP Sabah Assemblyman Jimmy Wong, DAP Sabah Publicity Secretary Dr. Edwin Bosie and I visited Kampong Murut, Ulu Kalabakan.
It was a long bumpy ride from Tawau to Kalabakan but worse is to come in the next stretch of the Trans-Borneo Highway, from Kalabakan to Sapulut which I have termed as the Highway Rip-off of Sabah – as a 179km permanent bitumunous road with sealed pavement turned out, after prolonged delays, into a gravel road!
The video clip is my speech asking why Muruts feel strangers in their own land while foreigners have come to regard themselves as owners of the Land Below the Wind.

A mother of 8 children received the worst medical treatment…. and she is Lun Bawang from Lawas Sarawak.
The government had not improved the health care in Lawas infact the Government is building a HOTEL SERI MALAYSIA and not a badly needed Lawas District Hospital.
Poor people have to borrow money from “along” to travel to Miri and Kota Kinabalu for treatment…
YB Datuk Henry Sum Agong…. refuse to fight for the basic right for the Lun Bawang people and the people of Lawas…..

Well,the answer is simple.The Muruts are majority christians and ancestor/hill spirit worshippers and most of all are pretty humble and generous kind of people. Muruts are aslo great hunters and land culltivators.In view of these and their simplicity,the Umno led regime transfered most of the developed funds meant for them to so-called malays and muslims majority areas.This is where the vast majority illegals who are muslims benefited .Most important of all , these illegals through UMNO using dubious mean are now MYCARD holders and hence the core reason why they feel pretty much at home than our original ethnic muruts in the interior of Sabah. The most tragic thing is the Murut’s leaders or so-called leaders who worked hand in cheek together within UMNO/BN to cheat and swindled their own race for the past 47 years and is still continuing.

When you are a minority and UMNO B feels..Muruts are useless Malaysians…they will ignore them and treat them like wild useless animals that cannot be depended to vote for UMNO B….because the Muruts are Christians and not Muslims.
The ever energetic Lim Kit Siang never ceased to keep educating and protecting the minorities…being side lined or bullied by UMNO B racists crooks.
So far God has rewarded him with his son as CM in Penang.
Lets hope God will grant all the Malaysians ……our wishes to get rid of UMNO B government soon.
Lets see the signs from Sibu by election…where Najib cannot bribe racists and idiots…like he did in Hulu Selangor.
