Uncle Lim, can the public forum in Ipoh tomorrow (Tuesday, 14 April 2009) be aired live over Justin TV for the benefit of those who do not stay around in Ipoh? The last two forums organised by the DAP were televised live over Justin TV. How about this one too? We would like to hear from newly-elected MP for Bukit Gantang, Datuk Seri Nizar ( Perak MB until unceremoniously ousted) and the other top brass leaders from the DAP. Warmest regards!

Yes yes yes….speak till you drop dead.
I am speaking the truths at Rockybru’s blog….and so many UMNO buggers have gone crazy….even scolding my mother with four letter words.
That’s good.
It is what type of supporters they have…being exposed.
We are very close to our realizations….awakening young voters.. to go and vote. It’s serious stuffs for their future.
It’s working….so do not stop talking.
MCA and Gerakan supporters like Limkamput…chengho and few more in this blog…seems to be more refine idiots.
Those munafiks…UMNO BARU members at Rockybru’s blog are terribly vulgar…sickening too. Few have traveled to Susan’s blog….following my backside..to do their worst…same old stuffs..English teachers…character specialists….most vulgar insults they can think of.
These are Muslims with few India snakes.
Yes…it is good…for young voters to read and choose which group they wish to be acquainted with.
It is up to Anwar…LKS…Karpal…Gobind…to expose all UMNO BARU..in parliament….and in road shows. In blogging..we are doing our best…all for the sake of he country ad voters…plus by children and grands.
This is worth dying for..no doubt about it.

It was interesting to read Penang Gerakan pressuring Pakatan Rakyat over former deputy chief minister Fairus Khairuddin’s replacement apart from asking the Penanti state assemblymen to come clean to his constituents.
Ong Thean Lye also wants Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng to name a replacement immediately, saying any delay would cause work to pile up. The post is reserved for a Malay assemblyman from PKR.
Criticising Fairus’s silence which was unfair to his voters, Ong said, “Unfortunately, all the while, he just reported to one person only, that is PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim, and did not explain to his constituents what had happened to him.”

Anwar is so busy with LGE to select the next DCM of Penang , why don’t they just select basing on merit not on colors.
Karpal and Deo are so quite this day …may be bertaubat and ready to join BN coalition government…nothing is impossible if Najib offer Deo the AG , as Deo cannot dream to become the next DAP general secretary..
Nizar will join Hussam to fight Hadi for PAS president in June. Heard they got the blessing of Nik Aziz….wow so many interesting equations..Nizar should join DAP and becoming DAP VP instead of Tunku..
Will be there tomorrow.. if uncle Kit promise to announce PR shadow cabinet……
The market is so bullish responding to Najib’s leadership…..even the young community of starbuck, kopitiam , coffe beans, nasi kandar outlets, etc are happy with PM ‘s approach……Malaysia want political stability…

Is UMNO BARU treating MCA and other parties..equal?
At look who won.
Will you please talking childishly?

Since becoming the PM, nothing has been working right for Najib. He lost the 2 bukits in Perak even with the help of Mahathir and his feel-goodism attempt to win the people support.
Next his debut as PM on the international stage also bombed. The red-shirted Thais sabotaged his debutant party and he had to be whisked out of sight to his utter disappointment.
Could it be the ghost of Altantuya that is hovering over the fate of Najib? Can Najib be able to exorcise the restless spirit of Altantuya?
Yes, I think he can. He has to come clean about murder of Altantuya, and to expose all those who have abetted him in the cover-up. Then only will the spirit of Altantuya be appeased.

We want to be known officially as Sabah Bumiputera and Sarawak Bumiputera. We appreciate it .

The only reason the unelected Ong Thean Lye is pressing for the appointment of Penang Deputy CM is that … and is therefore anxious to be appointed to the post( after being made a senator by Najib, of course)

In the face of the recent “chinese are ungrateful” boo-boos by muhideen, najib might have reacted with these words: “Celaka betul budak tu”.
And at the same time he must have felt relieved. For a while the spotlight will not be upon him. The budak celaka has taken it. “Keep it” he might well be tempted to say. “Yes keep it for as long as you want” could be the best thing for him at the moment. “I dont need it. You can have it” would be better.
But all those are all mere fanciful thoughts. As captian of the team, all faults of his players are faults of his. There is no running away. The spot light may turn elsewhere, but the responsibilities will stay put.
I have a solution for you old chap. Get rid of him. It will be a good start for your kpi thingy.

In another attempt to gain political mileage, UMNO’s BN is trying to paint a less than pretty picture of the Penang’s PR state government being racked by corruption, and that the current Penang CM appears to be powerless in chosing a new state DCM1.
But has the people actually forgotten how light or very light a penalty/punishment the UMNO disciplinary board had given to the Rembau MP & the Malacca CM after finding them guilty of corruption in the form of money politics?
UMNO’s BN would love to see the Penang CM crack under pressure especially over the replacement of the DCM1, and disrupt the DAP-PKR partnership in the PR administration of Penang (which would probably lead to another state government power-grab by UMNO’s BN, not unlike what happened in neighbouring Perak).
Or, given the nature of UMNO’s dominance within its own BN, perhaps it’s just that UMNO’s BN doesn’t understand that this DAP-PKR partnership within the Penang state government is simply based on an evenly balanced power sharing, and collective consensus & decision making.

Is this another public forum designed to brag the victories of the recent by-elections?
Ever wonder why the people continuously select poor leaders who can’t give good arguments and end up yelling ‘Bodoh bodoh’ or acting like little children in the parliament?
These forums are one of the reason because they are one sided and biased by default.
I’m tired of the politics here and the politicians who can’t argue like adults.
BN supporters would attend BN forums, Opposition supporters would attend forums organized by the opposition.
In my opinion, speeches in these kind of one sided forum would only lead to empty promises, vote buying, bragging of minor successes, and sweet talks. After all, there’s nothing to contradict, oppose, or challenge what the speakers have to say. The result is the selection of poor leaders by people who are simply easily bought by their empty repetitive speeches.
For goodness sake, we have politicians who plan to confine AIDS patients in an island. Some don’t even have their education after secondary school. From what I’ve heard, PKR also seem to have some of them.
I’ve attended one of Anwar’s forums in Kuching before, and guess what, all the previous speakers before Anwar have the same thing to say. Most of their topics were about bragging their minor successes and trying to prove that they’ve delivered their promises. The only difference is the speaker, the contents are the same.
Anwar’s speech however, started the same like other speakers, reminding the people of their successes like the people are forgetful or something. His speech was better as he did address the problems the people in Sarawak faced, and he did give his side of argument about the issues going on that time.
I strongly believe that we need more leaders like who can argue in a proper manner. In order to do that, I strongly urge that some BN representative be invited to these forums and have a debate instead. In denying this idea would only deny the people’s choice of fair exposure to both sides of the party.
I say this not as a supporter of BN, but I strongly believe that the Opposition parties have the advantage when it comes to arguing skills. After all, BN has a ‘great’ reputation of having poor leaders. But it was the people who voted for those poor leaders. Therefore, the root of the problem must lie on the way leaders present themselves.
Only through debates, challenging others’ opinion, and sensitive arguments can the leaders bring out their true potential and their weakness.

DAP VIDEOS should be more dynamic just like PKR’s MediaRakyat. Don’t just depend solely on Malaysiakini to report what DAP is doing especially at the grassroot level. Pls re-structure you PR team so that it can reach a wider viewer; thru Youtube, Google tv, etc – to reach your supporters living and working in S’pore and elsewhere. TQ

Yes…Focus on “1 Malaysia”
Do you remember the story…”The King who wore no clothes”??
You see the King wanted to test his subjects how truthful and sincere they are.
So he walked in a parade wearing no clothes.
All lined up…stared and dare not show how surprised they were..dare not utter one word…but keep smiling…waving with love to the King.
One small boy shouted!!.’The King is naked!! He wore no clothes!!”
The King begin to realized….only one young person is sincere.
So this….”1 Malaysia” obviously…master minded by Mahathir…is to test how many are yes men to UMNO BARU..in MCA…Gerakan…MIC..and others.
So far….all seem to understand and confirmed…. loyal puppets.
This also create big problems for UMNO…as Malaysians are all idiots..cannot undrstand it.

Divided over Najib’s call to unity
========================
KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 – Prime Minister Najib Razak’s One Malaysia slogan is rapidly becoming yet another controversy to divide Malaysians, veering away from its intention as a call to unity.
One Malaysia is the name of Datuk Seri Najib’s blog as well as the theme of several of his speeches since he became prime minister 10 days ago.
But in recent days, a heated debate has sprung up after two Democratic Action Party (DAP) MPs compared it to Malaysian Malaysia – the slogan of the Chinese-based opposition party.
This caused a fluster as DAP’s slogan is seen as promoting equality regardless of race.
The Utusan Malaysia newspaper yesterday published warnings from Umno politicians and Malay non-governmental organisations to the DAP to avoid mixing up the two concepts to confuse Malaysians.
“This is not Singapore. It is Malaysia where its people have pledged loyalty to king and country. We have the rule of law, don’t try to be treasonous,” independent MP Ibrahim Ali, who also heads various Malay non-governmental organisations, was quoted as saying by Utusan.
The Malaysian Constitution provides for the special position of the Malays, the Malay language and Islam.
The heated debate was inevitable as racial issues have become increasingly divisive over the years. Unlike in the past, calls to unity now stir up demands to resolve prickly issues rather than to sweep them under the carpet.
DAP MP from Penang Jeff Ooi wrote in his blog that people on the street will take One Malaysia to mean the termination of pro-Malay economic policies. He said they will also expect it to mean treating all post-Merdeka Malaysian-born as equals.
Najib has not expounded on the concept, nor spelt out his position on the affirmative action policies.
If he does not do so soon, One Malaysia is in danger of going the way of Islam Hadhari, the brand of progressive Islam promoted by former premier Abdullah Badawi.
Islam Hadhari quickly became different things to different people, and pleased none. It was taken by some groups as a licence to introduce conservative Islamic practices, and used by others to push the boundaries of conversions out of Islam.
Eventually, it failed to heal rifts.
Former newspaper editor A. Kadir Jasin said he believed One Malaysia was intended to lower the racial temperature, but it was an extreme reaction to suggest that it is a copy of Malaysian Malaysia.
“I don’t think it deviates from the Constitution. The Malay special rights are enshrined in the Constitution,” he told The Straits Times.
Kadir said that in line with Najib’s pledge for an open government, the Premier should now listen to Malaysians and consult them on the concept.
But do not expect a smooth debate. This fluster over a simple slogan shows the deep rifts that divide Malaysians. – The Straits Times

upset for Chinese community on the latest remarks by our

BN bates to lure chinese voters is some kind of corruptions and they should not practice and be fair to all races instead.

Dear Yhsiew,
I refer to your statement on comment by Jeff Ooi. No. OneMalaysia is not ‘Malaysian Malaysia( actually Chinese Malaysia only) concept.
OneMalaysia is a way to tune Malaysians into thinking as Malaysians and behave like Malaysians.
Even before Najib announced oneMalaysia, rights of all communities are already protected. The basis for such superb handling of right of communities lies in the Constitution. It granted citizenships to non Malays( who were then immigrants) and recognises their rights in languages, practising faiths, engaging in economic activities, right to participate in govt or election. Constitution also recognises that originally this land is Malay country; Hence, some Malay aspects such Malay rulers, Malay language, Islam and customs are given prominence.
Weakess may due to human mortal weakness not the principle.
As far as I am concerned, equality is already there. Why UMNO and the Malays rejected Malaysian Malaysia concept is that it( the concept) rejected the rights of the Malays in the Constitution.
MalaysianMalaysia fails to recognise the position of the Malays before the advance of the British colonial power. THat is the reason why Malays reject it.
Malaysia as it is today is because of the constitution. Malay community never thinks of denying the rights of the Chinese community. That is the reason why they are willing to allow Indian or Chinese to win in malay area. For decades, UMNO stands to its principle of alliance with MIC, MCA despite relentless PAS condemnation that it is sinful to vote for Chinese or Indian non Muslim candidate.
Let us get real. Many in DAP chastises MCa for ‘kowtowing’ to UMNO. No. MCa does not do that. It just recognises UMNO supremacy in BN politics and also Malaysia. The reason is very simple. UMNO has the most number of seats.
That is the reason why until today, despite setback in last election, UMNO holds supreme in Malay community. To the Malays, what is the point of independence if Malay party does not hold dominant position in any govt.
If you care to observe, neither PAS or PKR is reigning in PR. That is not acceptable to the Malays.
Why Malays want so much to control politics?. Because they simply do not trust DAP to take care of their interest. Which is the reason that several PAS members turn redfaced when I advise them to take rat poison if they think that DAP can represent their interest. They are redfaced as reality is painful and also ego prevents them from admitting the truth.
By saying that I also remind UMNO to shape up. The reminder also goes to PAS as now it is losing Malay support gradually over its alliance with DAP, that many Malays consider as political enemy. I mean becoming ally of the chauvinist party that your people consider as enemy can be fatal.
As for Uncle Lim, what is your comment on Karpal’s statement in 1998 challenging Dr Mahathir to sack Anwar on homosexuality charge. By the way, the statement was made in DAP convention.
