What do you do when the former Prime Minister writes gibberish? Is this preparatory to a plea of insanity in any subsequent trial?

I read former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s continued posting on the death of Teoh Beng Hock with profound shock.

What do you do when the former Prime Minister writes gibberish? Is this preparatory to a plea of insanity in any subsequent trial?

Najib asked why I chose now to say “Najib did not kill Teoh Beng Hock, but the Najib administration must be held responsible for Beng Hock’s death”.

He even wanted the present Pakatan Harapan government to be held responsible for Beng Hock’s death, falling from the 14th Floor of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission premises in Selangor in Shah Alam in July 2009.

Unless Najib returns to sanity and stop uttering gibberish, there is no point in further engagement with him on the issue.

Najib’s gibberish state of mind is also illustrated by his claim that I had accused Najib of the murder of Deputy Public Prosecutor Kevin Morais because of the 1MDB scandal.

He referred to my media statement of Thursday, November 26, 2015 which is available on the blog, asking: “Perhaps Kit Siang is affected by amnesia?”

Now I know who was behind the two comments under the name of “Kwong” in Malaysiakini’s readers’ column after a report of my statement appeared, viz:

“Kit Siang, you did. Your statement is on your blog with the title “Call for an international investigation into the murder of DPP Kevin Morais following the shock statutory declaration by his brother Charles who raised many disturbing questions”. (Speech at the “Solidarity with Lim Kit Siang & Mana RM2.6 billion?” ceramah organized by Batu Kawan DAP Parliamentary Liaison Committee at Dewan Saberguna Chai Leng, Prai on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 10 pm)” and

“If you did it, why try to deny it? Here’s the link: https://blog.limkitsiang.com/2015/11/26/call-for-an-international-investigation-into-the-murder-of-dpp-kevin-morais-following-the-shock-statutory-declaration-by-his-brother-charles-who-raised-many-disturbing-questions/”

This elicited a response from a reader, viz:

“@Kwong 9/Oct/2018 at 11:45:23am, I’ve read the link you provided. LKS did not say “Kevin Morais’ murder was connected to 1MDB”. The allegation was made by Kevin Moraes’ brother in a statutory declaration. It’s very strange you provided a link but did not quote anything from it to back up your point.”

I am surprised that Najib has now come out to claim that my statement linked Kevin Morais’ murder to 1MDB.

Apart from uttering gibberish, Najib seems to have descended to the level of being incoherent.

I rest my case.

Najib is actually a curiosity. He is on a social and other media campaign against PH with, even if you are a supporter, marginal points, but for the impartial observer, its just very poor arguments and point. Each failure and weakness of his argument makes him lesser, makes people care even less to listen.

At this point, most people do not care to listen to whatever he has to say, they just want him and Rosmah to go to jail and be done with it. The prosecutor in charge of his case better not make mistakes or the public will tear him apart. They just sick and tired of them and want them gone.

But Najib appear to believe his public statements actually helps him somehow, that somehow he has not just a chance but a good chance to turn things around for himself. Of course, the alternative is for him to be in depression and suicidal which no one is recommending..

Still, he is a curiosity, tiresome one but a curiosity nevertheless.
