Ku Nan: Playing race card at BN party meets is normal

At the 67th Umno general assembly, delegates had also made some controversial statements including a suggestion that the 1Malaysia slogan be replaced with the 1Melayu slogan because people from the other races did not help Umno in Penang during the 13th general election.

Tengku Adnan said that to mitigate the problem, perhaps parties should stop giving “live” coverage rights of their meetings to reporters, whom he fingered as the real troublemakers.

The MCA elections kicked off today with the 48th MCA Youth national annual assembly and election at the party’s headquarters in Kuala Lumpur.

The Chinese-based party had seen its support eroded during the last general election, winning only seven seats in Parliament. It has opted not to accept ministerial posts in the cabinet.

How 2 b a UNITED nation based on ONE identity of M’sian?

Day in day out, rakyat r reminded of RACE n RELIGION bcos dis apartheid nation is governed by PARTIES BASED on RACE, racist i Melayu first UmnoB + its other racist parties, always keen 2 stir up racist sh!t

    Watch out, DAP n PR

MCA kaki in d process of REINVENTING themselves 2 REGAIN d support of Chinese M’sians

Frankly MCA, if it insists 2 play racist role n 2 represent Chinese M’sians, should at least change its name 2 CMA (Chinese M’sian @ssociation) 2 reflect its representation
Sad 2 know dat it does not know d difference between M’sian Chinese n Chinese M’sians
    Blame our education lor

No wonder Perkosa n UmnoB keep yelling ‘Balik Cina’ 2 Chinese M’sians cos they too don’t know d difference between M’sian Chinese n Chinese M’sians

Kun Nan is not only an over-grown infantile, he is an aging one. But what do you expect from a party of Prodigals?

What is really sad of MCA is so many grown Chinese Malaysian men and women in denial over the fate of their organisation. They have over-invested in a failing collective and just because they have nothing else better to do, continue to keep on going their failing ways – to collective the last bits of scrap, albeit the bits are worth more than most of us will see in a lifetime.

How can a proud immigrant group – the same group that build places like HK, Singapore, Taiwan from nothing be so dysfunctional in renewal and change? Where is the pride? Not only that, why the public denial that is indefensible?

We are no longer chaotic immigrants coolies and traders under the management of colonial masters but responsible for our own fate but these leaders of MCA behavewe are still bumpkins and scoundrels in the age where most of us have a college education.

Its likely the scoundrels and bumpkins are mostly in MCA (and Gerakan, etc) and not reflected in our society but how could it be we let this thing that is ours ended up in their hands?

That is truly the question to be asked of the MCA election..
