Wanita Umno to give Rafizi wing’s trademark baju kurung, says Shahrizat

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 5 — Wanita Umno chief Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil today said she will send the wing’s trademark red and white baju kurung to her “stalker” in PKR, whom she joked wanted to assume her post.

In an apparent reference to Rafizi Ramli, who has led PKR’s attacks on Shahrizat and the National Feedlot Corporation (NFCorp), the federal minister said the idea had been mooted by Perak Wanita Umno at a recent meeting.

“He will look good in red and white as he’s a little jambu (effete). Wanita Umno will pack the red and white garments and send them to my stalker,” she told reporters at Hospital Kuala Lumpur here.

“Because I think this particular person aspires to be Wanita Umno chief, maybe because he’s a wannabe leader (but) his party doesn’t have many members. Wanita Umno has 1.3 million members so he can feel the strength.”

Shahrizat has been repeatedly linked to NFCorp because of her husband’s role as company chairman, and their children’s directorships in the same entity.

The RM250 million publicly-funded cattle-raising scheme was first coined a “mess” in an article in English daily The Star after it made it into the pages of the Attorney-General’s 2010 Report for badly missing production targets.

The term was later repeated by various media organisations to describe NFCorp after PKR launched a series of exposés to show that the project’s funds had been allegedly abused.

PKR, led by strategic director Rafizi, had claimed that RM27 million was used for land and property purchases as well as expenses unrelated to cattle farming by Shahrizat and her family.

The company’s assets were frozen after investigations were launched by the police and the national anti-graft body following the exposés.

Shahrizat returns to ministerial duties tomorrow after taking three weeks’ leave to allow the authorities to complete their probe.

I suggest Rafizi Ramli send the baju kurung to a charity home after he receives it.

What this is really about is that UMNO is divided. Shahrizat is fighting back because she figured she can bargain at least with one side to bail her out of her mess and not left high and dry holding the bag.

The way Shahrizat is responding to Rafizi’s accusations is childish.
Rafizi debated with Khairy in London recently and put Khairy in his pocket.
Shahrizat no match for Rafizi…so she is talking nonsense again….like her fist showing act..making a fool of herself…covering up her guilts…with no veils….can be seen through and through with all her actions and words.
Went to Mecca asking for forgiveness..instead of making road shows like Anwar..to prove her innocence…is the clearest sign….so similar to Najib.

She brushed aside Rafidah’s advised for her to resign…again making childish excuses that she does not want to disrespect older people.
It is obvious she is staying put…to shame or depend on Najib’s decision.
Take it which way you want. This is really a cow brain woman.
I will not be surprised….she will quit politics very soon with…”ghost” from UMNO b supplying informations to shame and expose her.

Shahrizat’s approach is Lee Kuan Yew’s – ie best defence against an opponent is an attack. Better still a creative attack by making an appeal to ridicule of the opponent!
By giving her “stalker” Wanita wing’s trademark red and white baju kurung, the message is that the male opponent is jambu (effete) – which is loaded with implications since he is from a party led by a leader accused for consensual sodomy. It also ridicules the opponent of coveting her wanita’s post, hence fittingly deserves Wanita wing’s baju kurung.

Though “creative” (which to simple minds could etch a negative impression on her opponent and a positive impression on herself) this kind of appeal to ridicule of an opponent (by combination of mocking actions and words) is basically ad hominem ie in latin meaning trying to negate the truth of a claim by an person by pointing out a negative characteristic of the person making it rather than the insubstantiality of the person’s claim. In short, it is attacking and discrediting the person not his message and hoping that by doing so the message is also attacked and discredited! As said earlier this underhanded technique will appeal to simpler minds. Any educated thinking person will recognize belittling the accuser in no way belittles the content or force of his accusation, when it brings no new information or logical rebuttal of what was alleged!

Everytime she opens her mouth to attack…she gets deeper and deeper…no way out…she should be providing evidence and proof to defend her innocence..instead of hurling abuses and making silly remarks….keep spitting in the wind…we all know what is the outcome…

Yet for the Wanita’s chief to come back from leave with such a ‘creative’ if illogical response shows that her confidence – on surviving this crisis- has been regained/rejuvenated. As Big Joe said “Shahrizat is fighting back because she figured she can bargain at least with one side to bail her out”. It must be a “strong” side to present a gridlock/impasse within UMNO as to what to do with her. (As the Chinese said, when drawing a picture of a man, it is unnecessary to sketch details of his intestines to depict how strong and from which side the support comes)! Suffice to say this is also a silver lining in Pakatan Rakyat’s cloud! It means, that with a strong backing, she is not going to fade away and neither will the allegations against her. Her staying on in public office is almost an iron clad guarantee that public attention will continue to be riveted on this scandal and leveraged by PR as fodder from now on until the GE, at UMNO’s expense!

    A distraction eh?
Big mouth, brave words, tough talks but what’s the point when no one is interested?

Has she forgotten she’s only backdoor minister, rejected by her constituents in GE-12 2008? …unless she has a ‘hold’ on Najib and Penguinmah?

Rafizi should send the Shahreechut a pair of saifool’s favourite underpants, with his dna still unwashed. Then we will know who the mysterious sample ‘X’ comes from

That old mamak hag claims that some young man has been stalking her. Well, for your info, he is actually saifook bukhali, and her is after her RM300million, and not after her fat voluptuous body.
