Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad will want Anwar Ibrahim stopped at all cost.COMMENT
Anwar Ibrahim is not out of the woods yet. Despite being acquitted, Anwar is circumspect about the judiciary.
His acquittal does not prove the judiciary is independent, he said.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Anwar said this present case should not be considered as a landmark case representing the independence of the judiciary.
Now, that is somewhat ominous. Why would Anwar say that?
Anwar knows this: he is let off the hook this time – that’s what the government may want the public to think. So that they can say, this is proof that the judiciary is independent.
Dr Mahathir Mohamad said Anwar’s acquittal is proof that the judiciary is independent even before the sitting Prime Minister (Najib Tun Razak) issued a statement.
Even Information, Communications and Culture Minister Rais Yatim said the same thing. Finally Najib joined in saying the same thing.
It’s almost like preparing the ground to justify that if Anwar is charged and convicted for some other offences, it is not possible for people to accuse the judiciary of being not independent.
It is the same judiciary that acquitted Anwar in this Sodomy II case.
Stop Anwar
What if Anwar is charged with other offences and he is convicted there because the evidence is so overwhelming?
Then Anwar can’t turn around to say, the judiciary is not independent. That would be contradictory.
So despite being acquitted, Anwar can’t say the judiciary is independent.
He can be charged with making a false report about the video showing a man resembling Anwar having sex with a China doll.
Having sex is not a crime but making a false report is.
Anwar is then charged once more because the prosecution has the Omega watch, the Chinese national in its custody and the video is proven as authentic by forensic experts.
Anwar can then be charged. So, he is still not out of the woods yet. Even in the present case, the prosecution can appeal.
Mahathir will order Najib to appeal. Mahathir would rather have Umno lose than allow Anwar to be prime minister.
He knows if Anwar ascends to the chief executive office, Mahathir and all those on the same ship are finished. So Anwar must be stopped at all cost.

If they want to charge Anwar for other offences, that can only happen after BN wins GE13. This is because BN wants to maintain its claim (prior to GE13) that the judiciary is independent. So Anwar has to watch out after BN wins GE13.

An independent judiciary will solve a lot of problems facing our country, including foreign investment to create better jobs.

I doubt BN will wait until GE 13 is over to charge Anwar again for other offences.
It may happen sooner if they deem Anwar as a major threat that needs to be taken out before GE 13.
Of coz, if BN wins GE 13 then Anwar is no longer relevant as even with him around for 2 GEs, the opposition could not take Putrajaya. His influence would be largely diminished by then.

Now that foreign groups representing homo-sexuals have congratulated our judiciary, UMNO will use this to show that Anwar is a homo-sexual, and hint that he did sodomise that fool. In fact, the charge against Anwar is motivated by the need to make the kampung folk disgusted at Anwar. Anwar has had a “strange bed-fellow” in UMNO. He is paying for having kept such bad company. Still, I sympathise with this pathetic chap.

Stop Anwar at all cost …Mahathir order Najib.
Mahathir is not thinking about himself.
He is thinking about his sons.
Now we know who is always running the show.
His retirement is for show.
He is showing his true color…proving he has always been fooling Malaysians.
Old man thinks.. Anwar is jail…PR government cannot finish off him …his goons and cronies…without Anwar as PM.
This mamak sense of logic have flown to never never land.

This is crazy!
While Rosemajib is certainly a ditherer and flip-flopper, there’s no way he influenced Judge Zabidin’s decision to acquit Anwar Ibrahim.
The judge’s decision was as much a surprise to Rosemajib as to most of us. Do remember that he ran off to South Africa on 08/01/12. That action tells you he was expecting a conviction and ran off to being hounded by the local and international Press.
After the curses Augustine Paul and Ariffin Jaka received in Sodomy 1, I am certain Zabindin decided to pass the buck bak to Rasemajib who kicked off the conspiracy in the first place!

wHICHEVER WAY IT GOES, mAHATHIR IS FINISHED.
No one wants a senile, retired has-been who has long overstayed on the malaysian political scene to come grabbing the highlights again! Dont u see that!
People r experiencing a bad taste in the mouth seeing a spent force with virtually nothing to offer clambering for attention and trying to make ordinary words sound like brilliant gems. It doesnt work any more.
I am betting on UMNO’s demise. And, pronto, pronto, pronto.

Unless of course as speculated by some quarters that what some US or world leaders gathering in South Africa and maybe Mendela himself said in ANC convention on 09/01/12 tilted an eleventh hour change of Rosemajib’s decision that was as much a surprise to the judge himself leading to a hurried one paragraph verdict that surprised the nation! Why would such an important verdict – whether conviction or acquittal guilty- for which the whole world was waiting top hear be disappointed by a one para rationale, either way? Is that in ordinary course of circumstances likely???
Don’t of course take what I said as asserting that that’s the truth – its just an argument to demonstrate that when it comes to speculation of possibilities, one hypothesis is as plausible as the other.

They UMNOputra just scare of losing general election and scare of people’s power.
Yes, Anwar is right. There are too many cases.
What about Teoh Beng Hock?
What about the murder of Mongolian mother?
Do you think Najib didn’t know about his staffs taking C4 explosives?
Do you think in meeting of Economic Planning Unit chaired by Najib and his cabinet ministers including MCA, PBB, etc. about RM300 million for the feedlot project for hte woman minister?
What we could say about them is : All of them are cunning, corrupted, biased, cheaters, liars, sweet-talkers, etc.
Beware of wolfs in sheep skin lah!

Pakatan State government: while you are still in controlling of some state as the state government, put on large billboard about “Fighting corruption and cronism”.
Put this billboard on along busy roads and highwas let them drivers see!
This is to remind the people about the corruption and cronism we face for the past 50 years!
This is to remind us to vote for a clean government.
Taiwanese president also stressed about clean and least corruption policies.
We just need to go south and do not have to look East to learn this. Singapore is also on least corruption list.

Penang state government should put on a large billboard to state “First in the history of Malaysia for receiving a praise by Transparency International”.
Please do this without delay!
This it to remind Penangites about the corruption and cronism of UMNO and its components that we faced for the past few decades.

For sure the Super-Ego wanted DSAI to be stopped at any cost! otherwise, all the issues conveniently swept under the carpet will be reopened. Though there is no guarantee that PR would create a miracle in managing the nation, the only act which many Malaysians wanted would be to open up all the secrets under OSA!
