Others are 100 times more racist, claims Muhyiddin

Malaysiakini

Defending an earlier speech which accused DAP of being anti-Malay and anti-Islam, Umno deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin denied it was racist and hit back at his critics, describing them as being “100 times more racist”.

According to the deputy prime minister, what he had said was not something different from the historical facts, and instead it could “consolidate the new awareness” among the Malays about the party’s struggle.

“Only someone who is too racist (would think it is racist). When some quarters say something about their own race, he will say it is racist.

“They don’t realise that they are 100 times more racist than us,” he told the media, without mentioning any names, during a press conference today at the Umno annual general meeting (AGM).

During his opening address for the AGMs of Umno Wanita, Youth and Puteri on Tuesday, Muhyiddin accused DAP as an anti-Islam and anti-Malay party which attempted to turn Malaysia into a republic.

He called on members of the three wings to join the party’s struggle which is a jihad for the religion, race and country.

The next day, DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang hit back, saying that Muhyiddin’s speech was the “mother of all lies, falsehoods and racism”.

During the press conference today, Muhyiddin echoed party president Najib Abdul Razak’s policy speech, in which the prime minister said Umno was not a racist party as it has been sharing power with other BN component parties.

“Although there was a time in history that Umno could form the government by itself in the first general election, we did not do so. We shared power.”

On the contrary, Najib had said, the opposition has shown no proof that its coalition parties can work together.

The more moo speaks, the more he shows himself unfit to be the next PM.

Moo, don’t be silly, the rakyat have eyes and ears; they can distinguish who is telling the truth and who is lying. This is 2011, not 1960. The rakyat are well informed by the new media.

    Long live new media!

Najib still holds the record of telling most lies…but only a natural born idiot of the highest order can talk like Muhyiddin.

Anyway..it is good to note.. at their AGM…this time…it is scolding….insulting…talking absolutely nonsensical stuffs…as if the clowns are performing their last show.
    Clowns they are.
No leaders or serious politicians governing a developing country talk like them.
It’s like losers…hiding their defeats….smiling…talking nonsense…to divert their real personalities….out of great guilt…hiding inside all.
They are all trying so hard to make Malaysians angry over A, B, C parties.
Malaysians take all speeches as clowns loosing their marbles…crying for help.

  7. #7 by pwcheng on Thursday, 1 December 2011 - 9:35 pm

UMNO is crying for help from the Malays whom they have robbed and chastised. The Malays had been cheated too many times and UMNO still thinks they can perform the same trick over and over again. They are wrong as after being cheated too often, they are getting much smarter now. UMNO has robbed the country and swindle the people too many times and in every election they turned to their racist stance for a battle cry of “Jihad”. In fact all of us must cry Jihad to exterminate UMNO.
A party that that cannot see wrongdoings but instead defend it is on their last lap on their dying bed. A party that condone corruption, abuse of public funds and abuse of power must be exterminated if not we will end up like Somalia or our closer neighbor Cambodia. A party that is so deeply rotted will say nothing is wrong even if the country dies tomorrow. They have lost their sense and their nerves are dead.
We must be able to stand steadfastly against this group of liars and thieves for the better future of our children.

///At last year’s assembly, I dwelt on the question of who are the Malays from the perspectives of philosophy and lineage. We’ve heard that those considered part of the Malay community include Bugis, Minang, Arabs, Muslim converts as
well as tens of ethnic communities in Sabah and Sarawak. Even Mamak and Malbari are viewed as Malays. Thrown into the picture are our three vice-presidents comprising one of Javanese descent, another of Turkish origin and the third, a
Bajau Laut. That’s okay, the important thing is that they are all Malays.///–Najib at UMNO GA

Najib can choose to accept whoever he wants to be called Malays for his own social pleasure. But he should not do it when if there is implication to the law of the country.

In the constitution, Malays are placed in the special position of need to be given the concession to gain special preferential assistance. Thus it is necessary to identify who Malays were according to the constitution as adopted in 1957. Article 160 defines Malays among other conditions the requirement that they were the issues of those who were Malays from Singapore or Malaya on the date of Malayan Independence. Thus Muslims from other countries coming into Malaysia after 1957 cannot be Malays even if they speak Malays habitually, practices Malay customs and are Muslims.

Malays are classified as the beneficiaries, and on limited resources, it would be unfair to the genuine Malays if fake Malays are grouped among them to receive assistance. The share of such help by genuine Malays would be diluted. Besides, there were Muslims who were smarter and more cunning than the Jews. When they masquerade as Malays, the very cunning Muslims took over UMNO. Today, Penang Malays are complaining that Mamaks monopolize UMNO politics in the state.

It cannot be denied that because of the special position Malays are placed, the non-Malays have to bear the burden of subsidizing them. The more fake Malays are added to the group of genuine Malays, the more burdens the non-Malays have to bear. But UMNO care only to ask fake Malays to its rank with the hope that it improves its vote bank. UMNO is not considerate on how adding people who are not the intended beneficiaries add to the pains of those who shoulder the burden provided by the constitution.

Najib as the Prime Minister should abide by the interpretation of the constitution in ensuring that only genuine Malays are included as Malays intended by the constitution.

I recalled MCA had only packets of chicken rice for each person…at their AGM…trying to show to Malaysians..how thrifty they are with tax payers money….also got voted out.
These UMNO b scums spend our money like water..and somehow every event…some UMNO b crooks will make lots of money.
They are so filthy rich…they really don’t know how the real Malaysia and Malaysians.

As usual there is nothing much one can say good about Umnoputras. These people just refused to accept the fact that Umno is not racist. It is the leaders of Umno, the Umnoputras that are racists.

  14. #14 by monsterball on Friday, 2 December 2011 - 3:32 am

These corrupted racists dirty politicians are expert spinners.
Let them try to spin Malaysians round and round as much as they like.
I wonder why Muhyiddin said that at their AGM only?
Why did he not challenge any opposition leaders for a debate….”Opposition parties are 100 times more racist than UMNO b party.”
Talk to members at closed doors…what for?
Talk to Malaysians at open forum or debate…he will get boos and rotten eggs thrown at him.

  19. #19 by Bigjoe on Friday, 2 December 2011 - 8:07 am

What is really important is not just the lies but the fact that both he and Najib think that what they are doing is no different than what past UMNO leaders have done especially Mahathir. The truth is its not. If you check the past, THIS year is the first time they crossed the lexicon where the lies are formally stated AND even loudly overwhelmingly by the top leaders themselves. Even the Kerismuddin incident, Hishamuddin back-tracked a little bit.

In other words, what they did this year is make lies as THE foundation of their formal political plans. Previously, they have only been part of it and in fact a small part of it. Most of the lies were beneath the surface, out of the public eye especially the minorities who will be victim. Its equivalent to when Hitler took over the Reichstag.

The main problem with this plan is that lies don’t work. It simply don’t. Hitler, the Communist, Gaddhafis and Saddam Husseins of this world have all tried. The main problem is the bigger the lie, the more money and more people you have to either pay off or you have to oppress. That is why they all end up robbing someone and destroying whatever is available. In system talk, it simply does not scale.

In other words, even if UMNO/BN may pull off this GE-13 by cheating, it will not last beyond that. One way to ensure they will do worst in GE-13 is forwarned EVERYONE that the plan WILL COLLLAPSE by sheer logic. Nothing to do with ideology, opinions, morals or religion. Its simply logic. There just simply NOT enough money and TOO many people to pay off at higher and higher prices.

The biggest idiots in this scheme is those who listen to Najib & Co about NOT fighting for post and contracts. The logical thing is to actually ask for MORE and fight even harder. In a collapsing empire you are part off, if you are not at the top, you want to grab what you can and make plans to run away, cover your tracks – hence fight for more power and at higher prices.

The interesting thing will be to watch whether UMNO warlords are as dumb as critics has charged them to be or they are actually normal and will do the natural and fight even more..

Last AGM they raised the kris and drink blood. But this year they can’t use the same tactic as this will scare off the non Malay voters forever.

But what can they use now. They pick up DAP as to most people they still believe that DAP= chinese. They also spice the story with many many lies. It was no easy to differentiate lies from the truth. People are busy and they will no take much time to analyse and thus these lies do work most of the people.

UMNO has lost in its original struggles as the British has long gone, so the only enemy that they can choose to replace British was DAP. They think DAP is their enemy now. How much DAP can do in the next GE with the corporation of PAS & PKR? Not much DAP cannot form the government itself. They say PAS is lead by DAP? Anyone believe that. That perception was an insult to PAS. PAS is well organised and they have good leaders, do they say that PAS is just a puppet of DAP? It can’t be. So this is lies but lies is just easy to tell and if the same lies are told thousands time, the lies become truth. So this is their tactic.

Who is the real enemy? The real enemy is Corruption. YES, this is their real enemy but they have not courage to fight. Simply most of the top guns are corrupted. So how to fight the corrupt if you are also one of them. That why UMNO never have the courage to fight corruption.

Do you find it is strange that no one has say something about NFC, other then just brush aside by saying NFC is just N o F urther C omment. Off course they will not take NFC by its horn, simply its involve one of their leaders.

Never expect fundamental changes will take place. The next Auditor General report will show the same thing.

Oh boy he is just too stupid. To him questioning the propriety of wasting billions year in year out is challenging umnoputras’ rights and hence amounts to being anti-agung, anti-sultan, anti-islam jenis umno, anti-gobermen, anti-melayu (actually umnoputra), ungrateful, unpatriotic etc etc.

Just concentrate on getting rid of umno in GE13.

While busy accusing other parties as racist parties, NR n Moo forgot dat many component parties of BN r TRULY SOLELY racist parties: UmnoB, MCA, MIC, etc
NR is TRULY a farked up PM – on 1 hand, he talked abt 1M’sia, on d other hand he spoke loudly abt MUST-HAVE dominant Malays (nay, UmnoB’s Malays)

  24. #24 by SENGLANG on Friday, 2 December 2011 - 9:22 am

One should not blame him in using the race card. UMNO history shown that all their DPM who is juts one more step away always raised the race card to push the one more step. From the time Mahathir was the DPM, he utter the same race issues and manipulate to his advantages, so was Najib before he took on the top post.

Race card is the easiest and yet most effective way to gain grass root support.

There is no short of urgent issue to be addressed such the world economy down turn, raising costs of living and of course the same old issue of corruption. But these issues are not easy to make the greedy members understand. So the easy way out is race card.

  25. #25 by Peter on Friday, 2 December 2011 - 9:37 am

For Mooo..iddin to admit ‘Yes, I am racist, but others are more racist’, is totally unbecoming of a DPM. God help the non malays if ever idiots with mentality like this become PM.
Umno is the party forever talking about defending Malay rights but the DAP never even once talked about defending Chinese rights. If UMNO is not racist that there is nothing to say.
He further claim that DAP is anti-Malay but your stooge, MCA esp that famous p___star, claims that DAP is anti-Chinese. BN/UMNO, please make up your mind – is DAP anti-Malay or anti-Chinese?
In any civilised country, the minority is protected with the majority having to make small sacrifices but here in Bolehland, the minority is suppressed and has to give way for the majority. The bulk of taxes come from the minority and if the minority emigrates, the majority is left to eat grass when the bulk of the income is lost. What would there be there be left of the ‘special rights’ given to the Malays? This is simple economics. Yet these Umno leaders either they are so damn dumb or just do not bother to see this.

  26. #26 by monsterball on Friday, 2 December 2011 - 10:08 am

From day one…until now…UMNO b politics is about race and religions.
It has reached a stage..comparing who is more a racist party.
Mhuyiddin said DAP is anti Malay.
MCA said DAP is anti Chinese.
    Race blaming game is on.
Will PR be foolish enough to be drawn into talking race politics?
I think all leaders are laughing non stop…viewing the crooks going frenzy…feeling agitated…like bulls….seeing red….nose..fuming hot…uttering hot air nonsense.
They are feeling the heat of 13th GE…and call it.the mother of all elections.
Imagine…after governing for nearly 55 years…feeling the heat.
Actually should feel relaxed and calm…if they are that good.
And they blame PR are confusing Malaysians.
Read all their reasons….movements…observe all their actions…you will know UMNO b is the one….feeling Malaysians are determine to vote them out….and so ….rely on the Muslims….government servants and EC to create as many phantom votes …frauds as they can.
Meanwhile the Bill is to stand by for Police State..if they can make Malaysians..clash against each other.
