Senator Datuk Jamil Khir Baharom, the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department in direct charge of Jakim, should be suspended or even removed as Minister if he cannot give a full and satisfactory explanation to Cabinet and the nation for Jakim’s open insubordination and insurrection against Najib’s 1Malaysia slogan and vision.
If the Cabinet tomorrow is not prepared to discuss and take strong action against Jakim and the civil servants involved in the open insubordination and insurrection against Najib’s 1Malaysia concept, then the Cabinet Ministers are not fit or qualified to continue in office.
Last Thursday, on the same day that the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak was launching the 1Malaysia Government Transformation Programme (GTP) Roadmap at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Thursday, JAKIM (Islamic Development Department) of the Prime Minister’s Department organized a forum for 800 civil servants which was tantamount to open insurbordination and insurrection against Najib’s 1Malaysia slogan and vision.
At this Jakim forum, speakers including civil servants like Zamihan Mat Zin from the Institut Latihan Islam Malaysia, Mohd Aizam Masod from Jakim’s research department and Mahammad Nasir Disa, deputy chief of Syariah Research Department of the Attorney-General’s office made speeches which were completely inimical and detrimental to Najib’s 1Malaysia slogan and spirit, turning the forum into an inflammatory and incendiary gathering going against all notions of a 1Malaysia objective and vision.
At the Jakim forum for civil servants, Christians were blamed for provoking Muslim anger by challenging the ban on their use of the word “Allah” and politicians, particularly those from Umno/Barisan Nasional were also blamed for failing to defend Islam, with Zamihan for instance openly blasting politicians for being vocal only on Malay rights but doing little for Islam.
Zamihan even went as far as suggesting that a repeat of the May 13 racial riots was possible if the Christians, whom he accused of practising “extremism” did not “back down”, uttering the threat: “Who knows, there might be a Feb 13?” (Malaysian Insider 28.1.10)
The special forum for 800 civil servants organised by Jakim last Thursday, and the divisive, intolerant, incendiary and inflammatory speeches raising the spectre of another May 13 must be condemned in the strongest possible terms as downright irresponsible and anti-national as they run contrary to the proclaimed objectives of the 1Malaysia slogan and vision advocated by Najib.
If the Cabinet does not take any action tomorrow, police reports may be lodged against Jakim for its insubordination and insurrection against Najib’s 1Malaysia concept for organizing anti-national, inflammatory and seditious forum for 800 civil servants last Thursday.

Najib can’t touch these people. Deep inside, they think religiously speaking, he should be driven out of the country or sent to Islamic indoctrination concentration camp.
Honestly the fact they have not demand his head is already a credit to Najib.
Its why he can never solve the problem. Sooner or later it will come back and bite him again..

If no action is to be taken against Jakim for its blatant act of insubordination and insurrection, then the 1 Malaysia slogan is another wasteful and inconsequential exercise and will soon end up like many other preceding government launched slogans. It also reflects upon the insincerity of the political leaders. What they really want is not a united Malaysia but one that is divided by race and religion. So this is what we call political humbug.Dap should make a police report against Jakim and also Awang Selamat or Utusan for publishing a highly inflammatory and seditious article not so long ago.

Kit,
This is called 1 Malaysia. Jakim is telling us that Malays are 1 Malaysia and we are just trouble makers who should be exiled to some remote island.
Najib must have 3 b*lls to act against Jakim. In fact his b*lls are being held to ransom by so many of them.

No action will be taken against Jakim and the speakers, for sure.
This is UmnoUtusans way of parallel politics.
On the one hand, the protagonist goes around visiting Batu Cave, Tamil Nadu, Chinese associations & guilds promoting 1 Malaysia.
On the other, UmnoUtusans are allowed to carry on fanning racialist sentiments and provocations.
UmnoUtusans have no regards for decency and they have warned that there may be a repeat of May 13 or Feb 13. So, it is better for the people to be careful for such eventuality. The people have no more choice

This blog of YB Kit can be seen as a fatal shot to pinpoint the internal problem of Najib within Umno itself, that is, the helplessness of Najib in achieving an effective control on certain government statutory bodies such as Jakim which have been put under the control of Umno’s insubordinate warlords.
As a matter of fact, Jakim is still put under the control of former Prime Minister, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who may not be a faithful supporter of Najib’s concept of 1Malaysia due to the reason that Tun Abdullah was forced to resign from the post of Prime Minister through the sabotage plot with the joint effort of Dr. Mahathir, Najib and Muhyiddin Yassin. Immediately after the step down of Tun Abdullah from the post of Umno President and from the post of Prime Minister, the balance of power among the Umno warlords has been shifting to a subtle situation, whereby there are always direct fights between Dr. Mahathir-Muhyiddin faction and Abdullah-Ahmad Zahed-Khairy faction with Najib sitting in the middle as a balancing factor between two factions.
“Jamil Khir, Minister in the PM’s Dept should be suspended or even removed as Minister for Jakim’s open insubordination and insurrection against Najib’s 1Malaysia concept.” This call of YB Kit for suspending or removing Major General Datuk Jamil Khir Baharom from the post of Minister in charge of Islamic affairs of the Prime Minister’s Department may not be viable for Najib since Najib will most likely feel that it is politically to his disadvantage if Najib is to make such a decision to replace Major General Datuk Jamil with another man who will dare to take on Tun Abdullah who now sits as the president of Jakim. The current political situation within Umno shows that Muhyiddin Yassin as the Umno Deputy President has posed a strong threat to Najib in view of Dr. Mahathir’s keenness to replace Najib with Muhyiddin Yassin as the Prime Minister, partly due to Najib’s constantly showing disobedience to Dr. Mahathir, especially regarding the matter of removing Khairy Jamaludin from the post of Umno Youth Head through a vote of no confidence against Khairy Jamaludin in the Umno Youth Committee meeting.
The open clash between Khairy and Dr. Mahathir has escalated recently due to the former’s putting a very sarcastic remark in the later’s chedet blog citing that Dr. Mahathir, by putting all blames on the currency traders, was indeed trying to cover his incompetence as the Finance Minister in handling the problem of 1998 currency attack due to his lack of finance knowledge. Khairy pointed out that Dr Mahathir made a wrong decision by permitting some cronies in the KLSE-quoted companies to sell back their personal holding as a substantial shareholder of the company shares to the company itself using the company funds at an overstated price which was above the market price. This kind of share transfer transactions was said to be an unfair business practice since it hurt the interest of the minority shareholders. Therefore the market confidence was jeorpadised by the unfair business practice and then the stock market plunged quickly as a response to the unfair business practice. Later a massive capital flight was triggered by high interest offer made by bankers in a neighbouring country in order to attract Ringgit deposit into the foreign bank account. Khairy put the blame of such a currency crisis on the implementation of many mega government projects which caused high import of US dollar denominated heavy construction machineries which followed by high outlay of US Dollar in the national balance-of-payment and high foreign borrowing of US dollar denominated off-shore loans due to Dr. Mahathir’s failure in understanding the real problems of the economics in the midst of an overheating economy.
In view of Umno’s currently facing another round of intense internal rife, it will be to Najib’s great disadvantage to create much more troubles for himself by making a decision to sack the less politicking Major General Datuk Jamil.

People like Datuk Nasir Safar and Jamil Khir are going all out to gain cheap PUBLICITY at the expense of racial harmony and race relations. These people should be put in the lock-up lest they create more trouble and threaten national security.
Najib must rein in these hardliners if he does not want his 1Malaysia to be a flop.

Looks like we have another badawi scenario here – a one man screaming scene (or is it one screaming man scene?). Even those who were supposedly right under his nose (i.e. Mins in PM’s office) are not listening to him and his 1malaysia thingy. Maybe they too like the rest of us just could not understand the concept.
But of course the concept is incomprehensible. For god’s sake, it is actually alien to us. Yes it is certainly incomprehensible to us malaysians. Wasnt it hatched by some foreigners? some americans? by some jewish americans? I mean look. What do they know about ketuanan? about special rights? about privileges? about negotiated contracts with guaranteed profits? about umno’s ownership of allah? about Tuan Rempit McBully? about Hamba deBully? about pendatang? about umnoputra-mesti-jadi-kaya? about malaysia boleh?
Is jibby that dumb to have adopted the 1malaysia thingy? Can jibby be that dumb? Actually, I dont think so. Quite the contrary. He thought we are all nothing but dumb fools. Are we? Of course we are not! So like badawi with his proclaimed one-man fight against corruption, jib too ought to feel pretty lonely (and perhaps empty) by now with his 1malaysia slogan.
Bet he feels kinda 1Jibby huh?

Khoo points out that Najib’s handling of a slew of recent controversies such as the Port Klang Free Zone (PKFZ) scandal, the theft of Royal Malaysian Air Force jet engines, Teoh Beng Hock’s death and the recent ‘Allah’ row were missed opportunities for him to demonstrate his leadership.
“These were opportunities for him to show his leadership but instead it hurt his credibility. ‘‘ (The Malaysian Insider).
=========================================================
Najib must not miss another opportunity to showcase his leadership by purging and reining in racist extremists such as Datuk Nasir Safar, Jamil Khir and Perkasa president Datuk Ibrahim Ali who remarked against “disrespectful non-Malay leaders’’.
Or else his 1 Malaysia dream could be a nightmare.

What about seditious Utusan spewing out venom evertime and still carrying on? uncle Lim, I am sure you don’t understand the meaning of 1Malaysia.
Let me tell you it’s meaning (at least to me)
1Malaysia means where votes are concerned only vote UMNO.It means where votes are concerned all are welcomed irrespective of your race.
It doesn’t means your rights are the same though you see? In dispensing rights the colour of your skin is very important to them. That is why they have to convince even Allah that they got sole copyrights to His name. Malaysia Boleh!!

When a simple mind is induced to believe he is underseized, no reasoning is needed. Fear factor is the simplest form of cohesion by simpletons. when a guy is paid to research and to think how to improve the moral of the society and at the end of the day, there is nothing at all to show; next best thing is to spew venoms, lies and more lies !!! Just leave such characters to continue to cheat themselves, just like Mugabe did.

When uncivilised and uncultured leaders rule the country, this is what you get …. shit!
