MCA’s achievements

FEB 19 — I think it is time everyone gave the MCA some recognition for their achievements and what they have done for Malaysians.

So here is the roll call of high achievers in MCA:

Tan Koon Swan: in 1986, he was sentenced to two years’ jail by the Singapore High Court for criminal breach of trust relating to the collapse of Pan Electric Industries.

Ling Liong Sik: former party president and long-time minister has been charged with cheating and misleading the government in the Port Klang Free Zone scandal.

Chan Kong Choy: former party president and minister charged with several counts of deceiving former PM Abdullah Badawi into approving deals linked to the PKFZ.

Chua Soi Lek: current party president who resigned in 2008 after being featured in a sex VCD with a woman who was not his wife.

Kee Yong Wee: deputy trade minister was jailed for his role in the Komuda, the deposit-taking cooperative, in which the cash deposits of many ordinary Chinese members were found to have been misappropriated to save companies owned by some MCA leaders. The total loss was estimated to be RM3.6 billion.

Wang Choon Wing: deputy minister was jailed in 1987 with criminal breach of trust in a deposit-taking cooperatives scandal.

* In between alleged criminal activities and indulging in their own fantasies, the party that claims to represent Malaysian Chinese has also scored other achievements, namely, leadership tussles.

There was Michael Chen who left MCA after losing to Lee San Choon; the first Team and Team B battle between Neo Yee Pan and Tan Koon Swan; there was the fallout between Ling Liong Sik and Lee Kim Sai; and the fallout between Lim Ah Lek and Ling, which resulted in the second Team A and Team B fight. And then there was the third Team A and Team B fight between Chua Soi Lek and Ong Tee Keat.

All in all, the MCA has achieved much. Just not sure for whom.

So many worst fell on to hubby and wife…so wife that’s the blame….in order hubby keep feeding the children.
    What is MCA?
It’s a party with no morals too.

During yesterday rebate, CSL mention that LGE is a street fighter and have forgotten his position as Penang CM. He also mention that LGE has repeatedly talk about 100 each to senior citizen and new baby etc. But what he did not mentioned was the fact that the result 500 by the taxpayers have been use by BN as bait to people as seem this 500 was given by BN. In most occasion BN has highly publicised the giving out ceremony wearing in full BN uniform while giving out the 500 cash vouchers to the people. BN has use this 500, which is none other than the tax payers money to fool the people that this money was as seem from BN.

CSL was proud that MCA contributed to education through Rahman college. Yes, but that was because MCA was not able to carry out its responsibility as a political party, to defend the rights of Chinese and that all Malaysians should be accorded equal education opportunities. MCA forfeited its political influence to carry out non-governmental actions in establishing education institutions. Surprisingly, its weakness has now been triumphed as its achievements.

There is no doubts that TAR has produced many successful professionals and skilled technicians. But no all who seek education in TAR are successful and many too also come out without getting their professional degree. If you are business graduate from TAR but not able to obtain the overseas professional degree TAR diploma is worthless as it was recognised by the accounting professional in Malaysia.

We have also understand TAR has totally downgrade its status by offering diploma instead of degree course, though its diploma is the same standard as degree course. Those who have completed their A level and suppose to continue their degree courses are instead offering a diploma course. The course was same level as degree but if only confer as diploma for reason only known to MCA. Those taking diploma in business nevertheless are eligible to sit for professional degree such as ACCA, CIMA and ICSA. It was these degree that make them stand out but these professional degrees are not easy. In contrasts MARA advance diploma in accounting is recognised by the accounting body in Malaysia but not TAR diploma. So it was not an equal partner for MCA in BN though.

Anyway, it was better than none. If MCA claimed that it was not being used by Umno he should do more on education and getting the same recognition

Tar College & UTAR are great, they have given many a non bumi a chance at education, including those within opposition rank, and many of TAR’ graduates have done well. But thanking MCA for this little mercy is a bit hard to stomach. TAR was a crumb compromise for MCA not to resist, in the master-servant relationship, big brother availing and diverting bulk of public funds and resources disproportionately to establish bumi tertiary/educational institutions in line with aggressive NEP implementation. The well do non bumi could rely on parents’ scholarship but what about the majority average ? To make MCA not being in such difficult position UMNo said OK to TAR, a consolation prize. MCA made a trade off, of which TAR was a crumb, and now claims it should get the credit of preserving that crumb which has saved a few from starvation – amongst the many within a class whose interests MCA is supposed to defend but has on the contrary sacrificed by having them left to fend for themselves.

All the prominent MCA stalwarts fallen – this dubious achievement- should make MCA wonder why when everyone has a hand in abuse and rewards of patronage system, it is only their leaders who are/were left in the front line to take the fall and face the music when push comes to shove.

MCA supporters n d wife-cheater asked LGE a number of Q dat SHOULD NOT hv been asked
They asked Y a certain toll NOT abolished?
They asked Y DAP did not grab Perak’s MB post? Y gave it 2 PAS?
明知故问 They asked knowing the answers, n if they DIDN’T KNOW d answers, they r DUMB
Surely they knew certain matters r controlled by d federal, not state, gomen, or by a state’s constitution
MCA, a member of BN 4 >50 yrs, DID NOT dare 2 ask UmnoB 2 abolish tolls or 2 change a state’s consitution 2 allow ANY capable M’sian 2 b appointed as an MB
NO guts, only dare 2 question LGE n cheer loudly, making fools out of themselves
NO WONDER UmnoB loves MCA, which, kena sodomised by UmnoB, can still cheer loudly

MCA supporters in the debate venue did not behave themselves. Some of them jumped up and down like monkeys. The idiotic woman aka ‘ms tow car’ made herself the laughing stock and disgrace to her party by asking silly question and displaying her uncouth and unbecoming behaviour.
