Salam Aidilfitri & Selamat Hari Merdeka-54

Maaf Zahir Batin & Happy Merdeka Day!

Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin to all Muslims in Malaysia.

The coinciding of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the 54th National Day and the 48th Malaysia Day should be a special triple occasion of joy and celebrations for all Malaysians.

It must be a matter of concern to all Malaysians, however, that this is not the case with the recent irresponsible and incessant ramping-up and incitement of race and religious hatred and tensions through baseless and incendiary allegations by certain media.

A call must urgently go out to all Muslim and non-Muslim Malaysians to dedicate themselves to promote the values of justice, freedom, love and compassion on the triple occasion of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, 54th National Day and 48th Malaysia Day – values which are common to all the great religions which have found a home in the country.

Whether we are Malays, Chinese, Indians, Kadazans, Ibans or Orang Asli, whether Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Taoists or Sikhs, let us unite as one Malaysian people first and last to give real meaning to the triple occasion of Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the 54th National Day and 48th Malaysia Day.

We need to change the tenant at Putrajaya. GE 13 is our best chance, Failure is not an option. Please, please work hard during these holidays.

A Hari Raya thought for the racist umno to ponder—

The great Cuban writer and patriot José Martí stated in an 1894 speech he gave in New York City: “There are no races. There are only a number of variations in Man, with reference to customs and forms, imposed by the climatic and historical conditions under which he lives, which do not change that which is identical and essential.”

The message that should go to everyone especially the top UMNO/BN leaders – if you keep doing the same thing over and over again and its not working, – its time to quit..

  14. #14 by boh-liao on Tuesday, 30 August 2011 - 10:55 am

Yes, joy n raya gaya during dis occassion
However, unfortunately, as a consistent sad M’sian tradition, many families will also b saddened by d sudden tragic demise of loved 1s on d road during dis balik kampung exodus/madness, despite Ops Sikap
Have a safe trip n may ALL drivers DON’T MENGANTUK when driving, not even taking a few ill-timed winks which may b fatal

Yeah, who needs terrorists n natural disasters when over 6,500 ppl r killed yearly on our roads
    http://www.thesundaily.my/news/127037
How many breadwinners perished or maimed in road accidents during dis deadly rush?
How many children bcome orphans n adults bcome widows or widowers?
Yeah, d answer is blowing in d wind n M’sia is truly a land of gory

    From freemsiatodie—–

The sharp 6 percentage point plunge in Prime Minister Najib Razak’s approval rating is likely to set in motion two major decisions by the top UMNO leadership, already disgruntled with his underperformance since being appointed to replace Abdullah Badawi in April 2009.

The first is the decision to hold the 13th general election before the end of this year, most likely towards the end of October or in early November.

The second is that, whatever the outcome of the GE, the curtains will fall on the Najib administration and he will be replaced by another leader, most likely his deputy Muhyiddin Yassin during party polls due to be held next year.

“Najib really has to watch his back now, as there is growing resentment for him and wife Rosmah Mansor because of the perception they spend so much public money for doing so little work. The UMNO rank and file are beginning to blame Najib for the party’s misfortune,” PKR director of strategy Rafizi Ramli told Malaysia Chronicle.

“The internal call is that he is replaced before the next GE and it is growing louder. Many in the UMNO ranks believe that their electoral prospects can only improve if Najib is replaced, seeing as how Pak Lah’s popularity never once improved after hitting a high in 2004.”

  17. #17 by monsterball on Tuesday, 30 August 2011 - 4:10 pm

Lets hope the outcome of 13th GE will be PR takes over PutraJaya.
    The rating is unreliable,
If Najib had 72% approval…surely he will not hesitate to have a snap 13th GE ..long ago to endorse his PMship by the People.
It is a survey I suspect is from Muslims voters only.
First thing first…lets press for free elections and his “around the corner” is such a long huge corner..never meet..no ending.
Let UMNO B settle their own problems.
Why care so much who is bad who is good…with a corrupted lot…..who will be their Opposition leader ……this and that?

  18. #18 by monsterball on Tuesday, 30 August 2011 - 4:19 pm

Now read….88% support for BERSIH2 on a survey too. Who are these 88%?
They are Malaysians and poll % reported are Muslims support only.
This means Najib is loosing more and more Muslim support…and may have only 12% left to support UMNO B IN 13the GE.
That makes alot of sense….and as I see it…it is for PR to loose the 13th GE out of their own mistakes..if any.

MCA CSL urged rakyat 2 reject grps dat r out 2 create havoc n instead support those dat propagate peace
G’kan KTK stressed on d spirit of moderation

Moammar Gaddafi is still being protected by the people in his home town just like UMNOputras are protecting Najib and gang. But the world wants Gaddafi’s head. Wonder when they would know to ask for Najib’s and that of Mamakthir.

Racial relations is at it’s worst. Gov papers playing racial and religious issues due to bankrupt ideas. It is so demoralising with no action taken against them. PM’s approval ratings is going down due to his inaction on these issues.

I live in USJ where we have a good mixture of all races.
Usually most Muslims “balek kampong” but this year…. few stayed back and celebrate with immediate family.
    I guess time is bad.
I have just started to cut down Astro packages deals…reduce electricity to the very basic…no more porch lights on.
And I will not renew my Malaysiakini subscription …when it expires..in Feb. next year. My children are doing that too…all 5 of them.
I think after 13th GE…no more important. Just read bloggers comments….enough.
No choice ….must save every sen.
Time is really bad……and so many need help.
Sacrifice and help as much as one can.

Malaya was so rich at 1920 British asked for a loan from Malaya.

Now, because of corruption Malaysia going bankrupt

We need to change of administration to have an audit at Malaysia Treasury

    What is our situation?

And Jeyakumar said Tunku played out Chin Peng at Baling talk taking advices from the British…and up to know….UMNO b never allow that old man to come home and die in his country…admitting their mistakes.
Without Chin Peng fighting the Japanese…saving so many Muslims girls from being raped too…Merdeka may have been delayed for a year or so.
The British decorated Chin Peng and then played him out with the help of Tunku.
Presuming that was a far sighted advise for better nation building…but it is 60 years ago.. and time have changed and Chin Peng declared he will no carry arms anymore.
Why is UMNO b guys so cruel?
    Not cruel actually.
No one have the guts to rock the boat and do anything right….as CORRUPTIONS…is so rampant…all are trying to save their own skin…..one way or another.

WAKE UP, MCA, Gerakan, MIC, SUPP members
    High time 2 ask yourselves Y r U so willing 2 b thumbed n skrued by UmnoB?
Even a former MCA president had admitted dat UmnoB has not treated non-UmnoB members well, d latter only left with “剩菜”(leftover) n “面包屑”(crumbs)
    http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/174520
Unless MCA, Gerakan, MIC, SUPP members happy with crumbs n leftover (better than nothing, right?) n accept 2 b 2nd/3rd class 被边缘化
