Syahredzan dan Ahmad Faiz telah dilantik untuk berurusan dengan pegawai Najib bagi mengaturkan sesi berdebat mengenai topik “Bagaimana Malaysia terjerumus menjadi sebuah kleptokrasi global dan bagaimanakah kita boleh menjadi sebuah negara berintegriti yang terulung” selepas Hari Raya ini
MalaysiaKini telah melaporkan yang mana bekas Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Najib Razak telah bersetuju dengan topik yang saya cadangkan, iaitu: “Bagaimana Malaysia terjerumus menjadi sebuah kleptokrasi global dan bagaimanakah kita boleh menjadi sebuah negara berintegriti yang terulung”.
Saya tidak mempunyai sebarang bantahan terhadap perbincangan topik yang lain pada sesi debat ini. Namun begitu, tajuk utama debat ini mestilah kekal dan dimaklumkan sebagai “Bagaimana Malaysia terjerumus menjadi sebuah kleptokrasi global dan bagaimanakah kita boleh menjadi sebuah negara berintegriti yang terulung” sama ada di tempat berlangsungnya debat ini ataupun di tempat lain.
Oleh itu, saya telah melantik Setiausaha Politik saya, Syahredzan Bin Johan dan Pegawai Perhubungan Parlimen saya, Ahmad Faiz Mustafa untuk berurusan dengan pegawai Najib mengenai tempat, waktu, dan butir-butiran yang lain berkenaan dengan perdebatan ini selepas Hari Raya.
Sementara itu, saya mengalu-alukan semua rakyat Malaysia yang mempunyai sebarang pendapat atau komen mengenai topik ini untuk mengemelkan pandangan dan cadangan mereka kepada [email protected].

Former Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak is reported by Malaysiakini to have agreed to the topic proposed by me, viz: “How Malaysia became a global kleptocracy and how we can become a leading nation of integrity”.
I have no objection to other topics being discussed at the debate, but the subject of the debate must not be changed and must be clearly publicised as “How Malaysia became a global kleptocracy and how can we become a leading nation of integrity” whether at the debate venue or elsewhere.
I am appointing Syahredzan bin Johan, my political secretary and Ahmad Faiz Mustafa, my parliamentary liaison officer, to liaise with Najib’s officers to finalise details of the debate after Hari Raya.
Meanwhile, I welcome Malaysians who have views on the subject “How Malaysia became a global kleptocracy and how we can become a leading nation of integrity” to email their views and suggestions at [email protected].

It is obvious Najib is confident he can outdebate you because he has been doing better on social media. Public debate are not Instagram nor Tweets not subjected to scrutiny Already he attempts to obtuse the main issue with others primarily predictable he will focus on PH supposedly not fufilling manifesto.
This is a serious matter and hence perhaps there should be a rule whoever makes snide, sneering or smirk remarks, Najib speciality, get slapped in the face.

A bold move. Maybe a bit of a gamble. Let us hope that Shahredzan can tighten the rules of engageent and that the media is fair. In a fair debate, I am sure Kit, you will do well. BUT, please do not forget that this is a cheat, a wealthy cheat who will stop at nothing to cheat and win publicity. We are honest people who cannot think like a cheat. They are cheats by nature, who have no honor and so cheating is part of their game. Please make sure that it is a fair debate. It is not who is the debater, important though that maybe. It is more important who is the referee and rules of engagement.
