It must be history’s most pathetic mea culpa, contrived and totally unconvincing, completely unable to evoke sympathy and understanding let alone pity.
Who would believe Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s admission that his administration was cheated by fugitive financier Jho Low, the other mastermind of the 1MDB scandal?
Please stand forward and declare yourself and we have the new suckers in Malaysia!
The United States Department of Justice (DoJ) largest kleptocratic litigation to forfeit US$1.7 billion of US$4.5 billion 1MDB-linked assets, first initiated in July 2016, provided Najib with the last opportunity to dissociate and exonerate himself of any guilt or role in the 1MDB scandal, but Najib was so sure and brazen with power that he could get away with the 1MDB scandal, he spearheaded an international façade and charade of an international conspiracy to topple him as Prime Minister of Malaysia making use of the 1MDB scandal, which he claimed until his interview today was a concoction and a lie.
Najib was named as “Malaysian Official 1” (“MO1”), which his right-hand Cabinet Minister, Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan, openly told the world was Najib, but did he object to implication in the 1MDB scandal?
What would have happened if Najib had won the 14th General Election on May 9, 2018?
Najib would have completely isolated Malaysia from the world, claiming that there is an international conspiracy against him and Jho Low, and that he would not succumb to such international pressures.
In fact, even the Free Masons would be trotted out to defend him against the imaginary international conspiracy.
Is Najib admitting that all the criminal charges which had been levelled against him in connection with the 1MDB scandal had substance?
Is he going to plead guilty to all the criminal charges in connection with the 1MDB scandal?
The greatest challenge today is to transform Malaysia from a global kleptocracy into a leading nation of integrity!
Would Najib, UMNO and PAS leaders sign on to this national mission?
