Former DAP MP for Raub Ariff Sabri who blogged as Sakmongkol AK47, and who had been struck by a brainstem stroke seventeen months ago in May 2017 and rendered bedridden, has revived his blog and written again on “The Rule of Law”.
Ariff, who was unable to contest in the 14th General Election in May 2018, wrote today, exactly four months after the historic, peaceful and democratic change of Federal Government:
“Even though I am bedridden because of my stroke, I have been watching and reading as New Malaysia events unfold. While I rejoice in a ruling coalition that I support, I will not stop criticising.
“It has now been over 100 days since PH’s inauguration.
“And I ask, why are we so engrossed over the 100 days issue?”
Later in his blog today, Sakmongkol AK47 wrote:
“I believe the greatest failure of the 100-days limit is the failure of this government to put the people who committed economic crimes behind bars. If Najib were guilty of economic crimes—and all signs point to yes—he must be sent to the bamboo river resort.”
Welcome back to the blogosphere, Sakmongkok AK47!
And I pray and hope that I will also be able to say, sometime in the future: “Welcome back to Parliament Ariff Sabri!”
