In 2012, Pitbull released a track titled Get it Started which features Latina singer Shakira, The Mirror reported. “Lyrics include: ‘Now it’s off the Malaysia’ and ‘two passports, three cities, two countries, one day.'” YouTube commenters alleged that the two passports pertain to the “stolen Austrian and Italian passports used by two Iranians.” “The three cities refer to the capital cities of Malaysia, China, and Vietnam and the two countries are Malaysia and Vietnam.”
Bermuda Triangle
Another conspiracy theory claimed that the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 had gone missing in the Bermuda Triangle. A Facebook video suggesting that the plane had been found in the Bermuda Triangle instantly went viral. The alleged video were found to be bogus in an attempt by hackers to capitalise on the story and trick Internet users to participate in fraudulent surveys.
Passengers Alive in Afghanistan
