SEPT 22 ― Thank you to The Malaysian Insider for being upfront about the fact that Saifuddin Abdullah is a minority and that his views, no matter how enlightened, do not represent that which prevails in Umno.
In fact, let us not get carried away with nice words and intelligent discourse or even the occasional Oxford-speak. I only ask Malaysians to ponder about these questions.
1) Is Saifuddin Abdullah a deputy minister in Najib Razak’s government?
2) Is Saifuddin still a member of Umno and a supreme council member?
3) Has Umno become a party of corrupt politicians and protector of right wing politics, unrecognisable from the party helmed by Tunku Abdul Rahman?
4) Is Umno the political party that defended the abuse of government funds in the National Feedlot Centre and continues to laud Shahrizat Jalil as a leader? By the way, didn’t the so-called enlightened Khairy Jamaluddin defend the NFC?
5) Is Umno the political party that has been demonising the movement for free and fair elections (Bersih)?
6) Aren’t Umno and BN the players that usurped the power of the people to elect a government in Perak by the naked aggression and wanton disregard of convention and law?
7) Isn’t this the government that has been indecently spending tax payers’ money to buy votes?
8) Isn’t this the government that has turned the mainstream media into purveyors of falsehood and thrashed once proud institutions such as the judiciary?
The last time I checked, Saifuddin was still an Umno member and a deputy minister. Given that he is still colleagues with Shahrizat, Hishammuddin Hussein, Muhyiddin Yassin, Dr Chua Soi Lek and others, I dare to say that his words are just words.
You can’t talk reform and change and all that stuff, and still hang with the old crowd.
As long as you are in Umno/BN, you are as culpable as the rest for their long list of misdeeds.

‘You can’t talk reform and change and all that stuff, and still hang with the old crowd.’
Oh come on, don’t be cruel. Let Saifuddin preach. He is a convert.
One day ‘the old crowd’ might see the light, repent and convert. One day. Maybe. Maybe not. They are hardcore gone. Long gone.

Is the party called UMNO, Umno or UMNo?
Why they still use the England acronym for a Malay party ? Might as well call themselves ‘ANGMO’ .

Saifuddin Abdullah has not lost his direction. He is a “remnant” of the OLD Umno. Hope Saifuddin Abdullah will influence his erring colleagues in Umno.

Amongst all PMs…Najib is the only one who has never work one day for his daily bread.
He is a pampered Prince.
What does he know so much about Malaysians?
He is the most insincere leader you can get…and Mahathir know that too well…when he chose him and Dollah.
Dollah let him down….and he yelled to get his umno B stooges to get rid of Dollah.
In 4 years…Najib stayed an appointed PM…never been elected…and you can say….Mahathir is still governing from back doors.
Get the real facts….then you will know..Saifuddin…Saiful…Ibrahim Ali…Hassan….are nothing but show dogs.
Look at EC and his deputy…how do they talk…all bloody nonsense.

Its clear by now, Saifuddin Abdullah is window-dressing to the cynical Mahathirist UMNO but the issue really is HE is simply wrong..
The truth is NONE of the path of change for Malaysia is not problematic – that is really the tragic legacy of Mahathir from the initial promise of Tunku’s vision of unlimited and bountiful possibilities.
Problems are building up faster than any change. Its why our budget deficit and debt is alarmingly increasing even as our growth is still slowing down and we are still falling behind..The fact is after decades of lower taxes which actually was replacing taxes with payments and profits to cronies, we are now increasing taxes even as payments and profit to cronies keep rising intolerably.. The truth is if not for the rise in oil prices, taxes would already be intolerable in Malaysia.
UMNO/BN only promises higher taxes with whatever they promise – whatever they giveth, they will take back most likely by even more..

Very interesting, dat old guy who left DAP is now so vocal against DAP n a great supporter of 1M’sia n corrupt NR n UmnoB/BN, betul ka
Wonder if he had forgotten transparency, corruption n clean governance
“Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned” – Tot dis applies only 2 woman
Another interesting thingy: BN giving out FREE moon cakes 2 rakyat ($ n mooncake politics), while DAP, PKR selling moon cakes
Furthermore, abt 40,000 graduates in d country r still unemployed, while UmnoB/BN dishing out free goodies n enriching themselves (NR said pek moh in S’wak OK 1, no corruption, just filthy rich)

boh-liow, that old fart is just a had been with over-sized ego. Bad mouthing his former colleagues after he had left the party certainly tells a great deal about his integrity and principle!!!!!
